  1. I'll take the scenario where we play Indy.. - No Browns with Mayfield, Chubb, Hunt going crazy and winning the battle of Lake Erie. I don't need that - No Ravens and Lamar improvising all over the field and ball controlling us to death with their run game - No Miami with Fitz coming off the bench, playing loose and giving us the ultimate gut punch. I have respect for Indy, but there is no one thing they do great, and no one player that scares me.
  2. Other than the Tenn and NYJ games (and we chalk this up to the shoulder harness, right?!?)..., Allen has been super productive in road games.. I'm not sure fans or no fans have anything to do with his psyche. I think weather is a bigger factor.
  3. Well no Goff or Kupp in basically a "play-in" game for the playoffs is brutal. I also saw that Kyler Murray has a leg injury and could be out as well, but i suspect he will find a way to play.
  4. In the playoffs, Flores would give Tua about a quarter to show he can be productive before pulling the plug and putting in the relief pitcher.
  5. I think Patterson's game will translate. He's not a burner, but he's shifty as all heck and will find openings that aren't there. The Bills two RB's (Singletary and Moss) are starting in the NFL. I think Patterson has equal skills as those two guys if not slightly better.
  6. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if Pittsburgh loses we avoid Baltimore no matter what happens in our game.. and I think Pittsburgh is going to mail in their game @ Cleveland. I'd be very surprised if the Browns don't take advantage and win.
  7. Beasley will be back for the playoff game. That’s a lock. he’s out this week but really all the non replaceable starters should be sitting.
  8. Well this makes sense. Especially when you have a Cleveland or Denver type Covid scenario in the playoffs when every player in a position group is wiped out for a game.
  9. Most of the AFC playoff teams have a better running attack than Buffalo. Baltimore, Cleveland, KC, Tenn... but hey, i recall when the Bills led the league in rushing for 2 straight seasons and didn't make the playoffs! I'd rather have an offense that can break off some chunk plays and score at any moment.
  10. So are we Browns fans this week? Correct me if I'm wrong. It sounds like if Cleveland wins this weekend, the Bills will play the field of teams (not including Baltimore). If Pittsburgh wins, we have a good chance to play the Ravens.
  11. I would keep the critical starters out. I'm a bad person to ask though since I would have benched Allen and Diggs by halftime last night.
  12. Beasley looked pretty bummed out after tweaking whatever he tweaked. hope he doesn’t know something..
  13. Beas will have 12 days to recover if need be
  14. Poyer got his head smashed, and it was unnecessary. Just push the dude out of bounds. it’s called self preservation.
  15. Twitter has erupted because Josh fantasy owners going for their Championships tonight are distraught at those 2 dropped TDs.
  16. He might get a crack in someone's camp next year, But then again maybe not. A guy like Chad Kelly actually looked kind of competent on an NFL field and he got barely a sniff... a cup of coffee at best. Dwayne didn't look any better from his first game to his last.. like he learned absolutely nothing.
  17. The only luck i see is with Younghoe Koo missing a chip shot FG (for him). He’s a pro bowler and what’s he made, like 35 in a row? but the one time he faces KC and a chance to send it to OT he misses. it’s amazing how the really good teams get “lucky”. Maybe the Bills have had some luck on their side too, but i’m too emotional about Bills games to notice.
  18. As i said in a different thread, i think it’s bad mojo to try and orchestrate a scenario to play a specific opponent. I don’t really think McDermott will try to do that. But he should play it smart and not risk key players to injury if the game result is meaningless to the Bills. If the Bills are as good as we think they are, they should be able to beat Baltimore at home or Cleveland, Miami or whoever.
  19. i’ve flipped on this. i wanted Miami but now i think it’s bad mojo to try and orchestrate your opponent. Just play out the schedule with the most common sense possible and see where the chips fall. Play to beat NE. if we win and the seed is locked in then do what teams normally do and rest some key guys that are banged up. play to beat Miami but not at the expense of critical players getting hurt more.
  20. I don’t see why starting Tua is controversial. Flores is smart. He knows that Fitz is awesome coming in off the bench. He probably shouldn’t wait so long to get him in there if the offense is sputtering. but he’s better coming off the bench and playing loose, than he is as a starter
  21. i think it works but Only if you are playing for a walkoff field goal. Raiders left 22 seconds on the clock. interesting how both the Raiders and Liberty blew off the easy TD and one loses outright, the other didn’t end up scoring at all and was fortunate to win in OT
  22. Lol. Ravens fans are dying here. there board is hilarious
  23. and i’m rooting for Miami here. if i have to hand pick a first round opponent it will be the Dolphins.
  24. One thing noticeable about Tua (other than his repertoire of throws are mostly short ones). He is so afraid of contact. he will do anything to not be touched. sometimes a QB has to take a hit to make a play. He’s no Justin Herbert that’s for sure.
  25. Ever since the Hail Mary, Kyler has had a few other chances for last second comebacks and has been absolutely rocked. You get one of those in your career and now it’s done.
