  1. I would do it. But we would have to replace Moulds this year, through free-agency. Muhhamed is a FA, and he won't cost 7.5 million. Draft a OL with the pick. The best OL in the draft, we can shuffle the line.
  2. I like your post and agree totally. J.P. Losman is a Mike Mulkarkey QB. He turned Kordell into a pro- Bowler. Oh wait, Pittsburgh had a great running game and awesome Defense that year. That is why Kordell made the Pro-Bowl. But then again.... oh yeah we have Willis McGahee and, um, oh yeah, one of the best defenses the Bills have ever had! Now tell me why Bledsoe can't make the pro-bowl. The way that I see it. Kordell is better.
  3. It is complex. If he refuses to restructure his contract that will mean that He wants out of Buffalo. Ultimately he will absolutely have to restructure if he wants to play next year. Buffalo or not.
  4. Lurking around today made me realize that it isn't just me that thinks Drew should be gone. Likewise, it isn't just me that think that he most likely will be the starter. There is hope. The fact of the matter is, Drew's cap hit won't be as significant as his salary. By cutting or trading Bledsoe, we will se no drop off from a financial standpoint. J.P. will make much less than Drew saving us millions right there. The difference in Drew's salary/cap hit is enough to sign a vet like Jennings or even a good backup qb that can do at least what Drew does in this offense. I think that we already have that in Matthews. The way I see it in order to take that huge step forward we are going to have to take a moment and step back. Who knows what Losman can and can't do? But I'm willing to believe that he won't do much worse than Drew. I simply can't see why the team would be so bitter about Drew leaving. To believe that you would be implying that the team doesn't have faith in Tom Donahoe. I know that the team loves what he has done in the last 2-3 years. These guys play with insurmountable amounts of intensity every week. With a power running game and a strong defense you really can't go wrong plugging a athletic strong armed qb in. J.P. is just amother spark in my mind. You don't think that Willis, Evans, and the rest of the future want the guy that Buffalo traded away so much to aquire run this offense. This is football, a sport to us a business to them. If you want to look at the business end of things, it makes sense to rid of Drew and use the money to build around him and lock up players that are simply indespensible. That is how the team would see it. I just can't agree with the statements made that Drew is the rock on this offense. Just think of the spark Willis provided this offense. Willis, Evans, and Losman are a team. They are our chance in this decade. It has already been proven that we don't need pro bowl numbers to win. But then you have to look at the big games. I don't like what I've been seeing from Bledsoe when it matters. I understand that a good defense makes your quarterback look bad, but you can't lose fumbling and throwing bad passes that result in interceptions.
  5. Re-sign pat williams and let go EVERY overpaid offensive player. Trade or Release Bledsoe, Moulds, Henry, and Jennings. Build a power running game behind a tough run blocking offensive line, and rely on the defense much like Baltimore does. I love the brand of football that Mularkey and Clements call, but this team is not in that mold. Jennings is a great pass blocker, but he is not opening holes in the running game. We have a big play reciever in Evans, a quality possesion reciever like Moulds is not hard to come by and will cost a lot less then 7.5 million. If Bledsoe and Mularkey don't have the gonads to throw at least one ball down the sidelines to Moulds then my guess is that he isn't the reciever that I thought he was. Get what you can for Henry, he isn't as valuable to our team as he will be to a different team. Somebody will pay for him. Face it, Drew Bledsoe doesn't win against quality defenses. He is easy to scheme against and too immobile to beat the blitz. If JP can throw a five yard touch pass he will ultimately be better for this offense.
  6. There is no way we get talent like Buchanon. If TD could pull this one off, I'd never bad mouth the guy again. Buchanon is not an average corner. He is a great corner, and a great talent. His biggest problem is that his team generates no pass rush at all. Funny, because they sacked us 7 times. But things have changed since then.
  7. My superstition is to get hammered before every game and not miss a play. So far it has led us to a 9-6 record.
  8. Kinda feel like a dick, but it would be so much sweeter to make the Playoffs over the Jets than any other team. They don't stand a chance in a playoff game anyway. If we make the Playoffs who do we play? My guess is that if the Jets and Broncos both lose than we play the Super Chargers. If the Jets or Broncos win we play the Colts. I'd rather play the Chargers.
  9. True, What about McNabb or Plummer? This Superbowl is turning out terrible already. The guy I am playing dropped TO last second and picked up Nate Burleson. Well, Nasty Nate had only two catches one good for 68td and one for 42. In my league his performance earned him 30 points. Lucky Bastard. I'm getting cold feet on the whole starting Plummer against Tennesee thing. McNabb is likely to sit some of this game out. So I guess I don't have much choice. I dropped McGahee early in the week when Tatum Bell was declared starter. Now Willis might play and Bell isn't starting anymore. I'll stick with Deuce and Portis. Unless you can convince me that Bell will outperform one of them. Later, thanks for the help guys.
  10. This weekend I get to play in my first fantasy superbowl. I'd love it if some of you guys help me out with my lineup. Evans has outperformed Reggie Wayne in the last 4 weeks. I am thinking of starting Lee over Wayne. I'll list my lineup, please give me who you would start. There is about an 800 dollar gap between winning and losing. I really need the money bad! I have one backup at every position, I'll only list his starters since he has no depth: Jake Plumer at Titans vs Kerry Collins at KC McNabb at ST. Louis Portis at Dallas vs L.T. at Indy Tatum Bell at Titans vs Larry Johnson vs Oakland Deuce McAllister vs Atlanta Jerry Porter at KC vs Eddie Kennison vs Oakland Reggie Wayne vs SD vs Roy Williams vs Chicago Lee Evans at SF Eric Johnson vs Buff vs Tony Gonzalez vs Oakland Chris Cooley at Dallas Adam Vinetieri at Jets vs Mike Vanderjact vs SD Matt Stover at Pittsburgh Redskins D/ST at Dallas vs Buccs D/ST vs Carolina Colts D/ST vs SD I have this listed as my starting lineup right now. Top two are currently starters. I'm going to bump this every now and then, thanks guys please help!
  11. Congatulations, couldn't have happened to a better guy.
  12. I will be there. Probably with about 6 people.
  13. I'm curious, The 49ers won't be such a pushover if Willis isn't in there. Plus I have Willis on my fantasy team, along with Deuce McAllister, and Clinton Portis. I haven't seen anything about his leg injury. I hope he is alright for all kinds of reasons. I can think of about $1,332 reasons to start.
  14. I am super pumped. I haven't worked in a month, I really needed this money. This is great, I made the superbowl by beating the best team in our league and did it by starting Jerry Porter over Reggie Wayne. I was winning by 18 after the 1 o clock games. I had Reggie Wayne and Matt stover to go, I was up against Peyton, the Edge, and Jimmy Smith. I didn't have a chance if Manning had a big game. So last second I took out Wayne and inserted Porter. 47 points he scored me and I won by 11.
  15. I've always liked Nervous Guy. I can't help but laugh at every post. Nervous Guy, how do you feel about this weekends game at Cincy?
  16. The way the opposing defenses are playing, Porter very well could have a huge game. It makes it a little more complicated because I am playing against Manning and James. Last time I played this team Manning had a 4 td game and Wayne scored two. Wayne had around 42 points. It basically eliminated Peyton's numbers and let McNabb matchup with one of his wideouts. I liked having Wayne that week. The thing is Baltimore has only allowed 10 passing tds this season and this could be a low scoring game. On the other hand, I think the best matchup man for man is Reggie Wayne on Gary Baxter and the Ravens like to leave their Corners on an island. Also, I've read that the Raiders and Titans game should be an absolute shootout. With Ronald Curry hurt and the entire Titans defense out this could be a big game for J Porter. He hasn't shown up most weeks, but when he does it has been against very poor pass defenses. New Orleans for example, the Titans defense is playing every bit as bad as New Orleans. If Manning has a bad day and I start Porter and he playes great that will put the other team away. If Manning has a great game and Wayne is involved it will kinda cancel out Mannings points. I'm very confused right now. What do you think? My other reciever is going to be Ashlie Lelie, Drew Bennett put up record stats as the Titans #2 wr last week, I like the chances of Lelie having a huge game.
  17. Portis, James, Taylor Walker, Johnson
  18. I'd stick with the studs, Davis and Alexander have been tearin it up lately, When it gets this late sometimes you gotta stick with the horse you rode in on.
  19. I'd start Moulds, the only corner on cincy that can cover Moulds is questionable and their SS is also questionable. Most teams #2 wr is having the bulk of the success against KC. Ashlie Lelie is probably a better start than both of the them.
  20. I'd play both. Manning can throw a pick for a td and it really doesn't hurt manning that bad. Chances are that he throws a couple and they fumble the ball. The chargers D is solid, but with the ravens d you have a better potential for a huge game.
  21. The only worry that I have is the slim possibility of Willis getting hurt. That is the only way we lose.
  22. Coach Mularkey has beaten the Bengals almost every time he has played them. I feel that he and Tom Clements will gameplan this game better than he did the Seahawks game. The pair of Offensive coaches we have beside Mularkey both completely trust and buy into what he is teaching the BIlls. That is the difference maker. Look for another awesome performance from our defense and another 120yd 2td day for McGahee. Bills 31-16 In addition, Takeo Spikes will see to it that this defense is more pumped up than it has ever been. Yes, ever been. No possible way do we lose to the Bungles. No way. Rudy, and the Nervous guy don't worry
  23. Tony Robbins would actually been much more expensive. Man that guy makes huge money.
  24. The only lineup change that I would even consider is Chris Brown over Curtis Martin. Brown is questionable so I'd stick to Martin. The steelers have the #1 rush defense right? If Brown is gonna start for sure then he might be worth considering.
