  1. Although I don't really fit into the family. I definately value how close this board is. It was remarkable to see everybody together at the Jax game and it wouldn't have had such a turnout if I didn't want to see how big of an assclown some of you guys and gals are in person. This is a great board, we pray for ones family, loath in enjoyment for ones children, and discuss important issues that some people don't have time to do in a bar or at a friends. So I like the idea of the open discussion board. And I hope that when I have trauma or excitement I can share it and recieve the friendship that I see all over the board. Plus if it weren't for OT posts we would be hating each other that much faster when the Bills are losing.
  2. The thing is... Ice, I don't want Bledsoe to be our quarterback. But you know what I said is correct. You definately know for sure that Bledsoe will start next year. Sitting on the pc with your thumb in your bum getting pissed and bitching isn't gonna help. SO... maybe you should face the facts, take your thumb out of your bum, and change teams. Because you clearly are gonna commit suicide next year. Me, I'll just be watching my mediocre team with my mediocre quarterback, waiting for JP to start. And when he does, stick to the Fins. You are about as fair-weather as a Fins fan around here. Sorry man but, well think about it. I'm not always right on like you but this one definately hurts.
  3. As long as the Bills are winning, start Bledsoe. Next season, start Bledsoe. Don't start 0-4. If you do, bench Bledsoe. It is really quite simple. Not much room for debate. If you want to get the cap involved, Bledsoe makes more dough.
  4. That, was definately a poor analysis. But I didnt read the article
  5. No DOUBT I think that TD keeps the cheaper of the 2, but I don't know who will be cheaper. Pat is worth more in my book. If jennings is gone we have a huge hole to fill, but if Pat is gone we might have capable DTs to start. Marcus Price can't start at this level. Mike Williams might get moved to the left side or guard. Even if we keep Jennings, I still think that we have at least 2 new starters on the line next season- including positional shuffling.
  6. Just read the article on BBI, didn't see it posted anywhere. THis is huge, especially because I have McGahee on my fantasy team If Miami had a slim chance of keeping it close, it is now out the window. No JR no Zach = RJ
  7. Either way, the point that I was trying to make is why not trade Henry for a starting TE instead of trading him for a 4th rd pick. If I was a GM and I didn't have a rb but had 2 good Te I would gladly take a player of Henry's caliber to play rb. I'm not asking for Tony G or Todd Heap, Just a Dallas Clark or Marcus Pollard...Doug Jolley...LJ Smith or Chad Lewis The fact is that we need a OL and a TE so why draft a tim Euhus in the 4th rd when you might be able to trade Henry for a LJ Smith? I'll take Barrett Robbins
  8. True, if we can sign Pat for under 2 million per season- He stays
  9. Agreed, I'd say he is 1/11th the reason why our defense is so good. Ron Edwards is a much better pass rusher than Phat Pat is. He will command double teams just the same and our defense shouldn't drop off. Especially with the much smarter and much bigger Vincent starting at FS next year. Vincent is hurt yes, if he is hurt again for this amount of time- cut his ars. Until then I'd like to see one of the best corners over the last decade move to FS. It has worked for many cb, plus vincent was a better cb than most who have succesfully made the transition.
  10. The Chargers have asked LT to take a pay cut in order to keep both quarterbacks. I would say no.
  11. I just don't understand why anybody wants to trade Henry for a 4th rd pick. It makes no sense to me or the Bills. He doesn't get overpaid does he? No, what could a 4th rd pick give us in return? Certainly not a backup rb that you could count on for 1300 yds and 8 tds. It would be more of a waste to trade him for a 3rd or 4th rd pick than anything. Apparently I am all alone on this one, so I must not know something. Look at teams that have had their starting rb go down....They aren't fairing to well are they? Maybe some teams pulled off wins without a starting RB but those teams have quarterbacks like McNabb, Culpepper and even Jake the Snake is far more capable than winning without a Rb than DB or JP. I've said it before and I'll say it again that Travis is under contract and unless we get a player that can start or at least contribute a lot than he will be in Buffalo all over again. My biggest wish is an offensive lineman or TE for TH. I like the prospects of getting Dallas Clark for Henry, since the colts have Pollard and won't have enough money to resign the Edge.
  12. I'd like to see him make the team next year.
  13. I don't even know what I'm saying because I know TH isn't a cancer and he won't ever be a cancer so I should change my post name to Travis Henry should stay in Buffalo if we feel we are contenders.
  14. I am the most optimistic person alive. I've heard Dream On so many times that I thought I would just go with it.
  15. If we can only get a 3rd - 4th rd pick for Henry, why trade him? Just because McGahee has emerged as the better back it doesn't make Henry overpaid, does it? The last time I checked he is and will continue to make poop on a stick. To me that sounds like his problem and I don't see buffalo trading him any time soon. Plus McGahee is still not 100% and what says he won't be hurt next season. I think that if the BIlls truely feel like an orginization that has a strong chance at the superbowl next season, Henry stays. He should want to. This game is not about setting records and making a butt load of money it is about winning the superowl. Ask any player who hasn't won one, He'll tell ya the same.
  16. I'll gladly trade Drew for McNair right now if I were TD. If McNair is done than DB was done a decade ago. McNair is one of the toughest MoFos in the league and one of the best quarterbacks remaining.
  17. Troy Vincent will only make our team better, no matter what position he plays. I feel that he best helps our team at FS. McGee is getting better faster than Baker is. If you like the leadership that Milloy brings to our D than you should love the idea of Vincent being back there calling out offenses plays. It was said in the beginning of the year that Vincent is one of those special players that are very hard to come bye. He will boost our defense to be even better than it already is. Troy Vincent may be the missing piece to the puzzle. He can tutor McGee and Clements on every play. THis is not a good defense it is an amazing defense. I feel like it is the best in the league. The crappy offensive play we got in the first half of the year only hurt our defensive rankings. Vincent + a emerging offense should propel our D to the #1 ranking it deserves over the next five games.
  18. I've read in previous weeks that he is due to earn 8.5 million next year against the cap. I'm not sure if any of that is bonus money or not but I don't see him making that much money anywhere he goes. If he gets traded he will have to restructure. I hope to hell that if he restructures it is with the Bills in the tone of a 3 year 10-12 million dollar contract. Finishing out at least his glory years in a Bills uniform. I am really starting to like the duo of Moulds/Evans. Evans is better than Peerless, he just comes up with anything he can get his hands on. I think that if buffalo can pick up a decent threat at TE and a LG, our offense won't be so offensive. We already have a superbowl caliber D.
  19. Without question he does, and next year I think he gets at least 1500+ and 10+ tds
  20. The fact is, we don't have a bad team. It was hard to watch the Bills in the first half of the season. From an entertainment standpoint, this is great. Now the Steelers are good and all but I think the hardest team to beat will be Cincy. They are a lot like Buffalo in the fact that they play very well at home. I truely believe that no matter what the scenario is- we beat the "best team in football" week 17. How bad does it feel to think about the first two losses of the year? Just one win, and the whole board would be talking playoffs with the weak schedule remaining. I feel good about= the fact that we aren't going to give Dallas a top 10 pick, about Willis McGahee, about the fact that Travis Henry will probably warrant no trade value and stay, about Troy Vincent learning the FS position this season, about how good our defense is and will continue to be even without Pat Williams, Lee Evans, Terrance McGee, and finally I really like the brand of football that Mike Mularkey brings. With all of this said, there is still so much to feel good about!
  21. Bills 16-13 Special Teams TD and 3 field goals will be enough
  22. The Bills have to play a lot of mediocre teams in the next 5 weeks. I have Reggie Wayne and he makes Moulds look so bad every week. I also have Darrell Jackson who is very hit or miss. Chris Chambers is available in my league, earlier in the season I dropped Chambers and picked up Darrell Jackson. I feel like Chambers is a better option this week against the 49ers than the "very quiet" Moulds. Chambers last 2= 16 catchs, 207 yds, td Moulds last 3= 15 catch, 148 yds, 0td Jackson last 3= 11 catches, 186yds, 2 td I guess that I am trying to justify dropping Moulds for Chambers because I just hate the idea of dropping Moulds, as a fan. Oh yeah, I have to win to make the playoffs. I usually do my fantasy posting in the fantasy forum, but I was hoping to get this done tonight.
  23. Or should I sit Wayne in favor of Moulds and hope that Manning has his first bad game aainst the tough Bears defense? My Wide recievers are Wayne, Moulds, and Darrell Jackson. I have to play the first place team this week. He is putting a great team on the field, starting with Peyton Manning. Since this is a must win since I am down 1 game in my division I must ask... Would you hope for a bad weeek from Manning and co. or start Wayne assuming that Manning is going to have another big game and that I can't afford to lose those points. Also I have McNabb vs the Washingtom Redskins and Plummer vs the Saints. I am leaning towards starting Plummer because McNabb looked very bad against both Baltimore and Pittsburgh whose defenses rank lower than the Skins. Who would you start? Finally, Willis or McAllister this week?
