I'd like another trade down please and then pick up WR/S. If we don't trade down I'd like Z Cunningham, Baker, Obi Mel, JuJu, Curtis Samuel, Zay Jones, Kizer
I wouldn't mind Kizer in the second but I suspect he'll be gone long before our pick comes around. I'm thinking Budda Baker, Z Cunningham or Zay Jones.
Wow. You're betraying your complete lack of football knowledge here. It's pretty obvious you read about maybe 15 players and have no idea about people outside of the top 3 at any position.
mocks with trades make zero sense, it's just a fantasy world. In my mock I'd trade back 3x, pick up a 1st next year and 3 more 2s, then draft half the players I like with no regard for whether they would realistically be on the board at that time anyway.
Except that's not what he said. He said he is not a finished product, he did not say he is a project QB, which is what Cardale is. Kizer could start after a year on the bench, Cardale doesn't even have fundamental skills down. Completely different quarterbacks
Or you know, you actually send them both out on routes and give the passing game a chance. Both TEs can block so the threat of the run is always there. Having 2 complete TEs makes BOTH of them better and has the added benefit of helping out the O-line on occasion. By that logic your argument for not taking a WR is we're wasting the 10th pick of the draft on all the downs we don't pass.
Except Kizer is a 2 year starter who didn't lose his starting job after starting a handful of games. Other than that they are exactly the same.
Yes, because if there is ANYTHING that has been said about this draft it is NOT that it is one of the deepest drafts in recent memory. The more you post the more certain I am that you don't actually watch football.
Someone REALLY wants credit for this speculation
Yes please
I see you come from the school of "if I repeat the same phrase over and over my point will make more sense"
I can find you links to physics papers showing that theoretically an elephant can dangle from the ledge of a cliff by his tail holding a daisy if I wanted to, but I don't believe it's an actual fact because I understand the source is theoretical. You as a source have zero credibility and your first post showed you're a fairly loathsome individual, I won't bother to read your cherry-picked "research."
Thanks OldTime, I was about to respond and saw you posted this. JO is the reason for every dumb contract provision we have, he is the reason our cap is mismanaged and he is the person responsible for setting round tenders.
This is too logical to have a place on this board. It's obvious that magical rookie QBs can transform 1-win teams into playoff contenders, just ask the Mahomes/Trubisky fanboys here.
ESPN is a dinosaur that absolutely refuses to admit they are becoming irrelevant. The fact that they attempt to charge people for "Insider" articles written by hacks like Mel Kiper is that station in a microcosm. They think it's still 1990 and people don't have free access to everything. Their "sports" shows are more opinion than new information. They are played out. I would venture to say Rich Eisen's channel on audience is a more pure and relevant sports channel than ESPN is now.
The only really sad thing about Whaley going would be that he would actually be an excellent director of pro player personnel. The only guy who is completely devoid of talent is Overdorf; PLEASE can we fire that clown, PLEASE.
Quit while you're behind. You've already come off as a misogynistic, bitter and lacking self-awareness with your initial series of posts. You're not going to salvage anything pretending your crude remarks are somehow based in statistics.
