Sorry, but the OP's argument is tired. Have you ever been to the gym and really really wrung yourself out? Because after a rough arm day I'm fairly useless for a couple days as far as strength and flexibility. These guys exert themselves as hard as they can on Sunday, not just running against air, but smashing into other elite athletes who are exerting themselves just as hard. It takes at least 2-3 days just to physically recover from that, assuming they haven't pulled something. Thursday games are difficult, you can't discount that. Now, the other team is playing with a similar level of discomfort and fatigue, that's a given. But you can't say that there are no excuses, there are plenty of mitigating factors to performing poorly on Thursday. Bottom line is we played poorly in all facets of the game though.

To be fair. I don't think the main problem people see with Tyrod is whether or not he throws certain passes well, it's just that he hasn't come up big for us when behind. I personally don't care if he runs or passes for 80 yards when we're down in the 4th, as long as he punches the ball into the endzone.

We're gonna HAVE to win out against non-Pats division teams as well as beat the Colts and Chargers. We do that and we should be ok. I'm not banking on wins vs the Saints, Chiefs or Pats.

We still have to play the Pats 2x as well as the Saints, the Chiefs. Those games are all pretty tough. The rest of the games should be winnable. We need to sweep the Dolphins and Jets as well as beat the Chargers and Colts to get into the playoffs. If we lose any non-Patriot division games we're likely not making the playoffs. I shouldn't think we're challenging the Patriots this year. In another 2 years? Maybe.
