By not knowing that a trade can't happen until the new league year starts. The Redskins have no leverage to re-sign Cousins and he has been happy with his inflated franchised contract for the last 2 years. In fact, if after talking to their GM in the unlikely scenario that he IS amenable to the idea of a trade to us I'd just sit back and do nothing and then sign him in FA

Double D has been exposed and has disappeared. At least try and know something about the offseason process before making false claims.

Source or it's not happening. Sorry, but this is illogical. Why would he agree to sign an extension and be traded, effectively removing the option for him to run up his price and chose his team? He can't be traded until March 14, the first day of the new league year, which is the day he would become a FA anyway. To keep him, the Redskins would have to PAY the man or tag him - the transition tag next year would be $28,732,320 and the franchise tag $34,478,784 (per Schefter).

Well this should be easy enough to confirm...

Taylor is like a restrictor valve on the offense. We will never be more than mediocre and will never be clutch on Offense until he's gone. We need someone who can elevate the play of the skills position players, not throw poorly placed completions. TT costs his receivers YAC on virtually every completion with his poor ball placement.

Playoffs? Playoffs?? The Playoff Chances Thread
ndirish1978 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am confident we will have a chance to win in week 17 only to have one domino stick and be edged out of the playoffs again. If we were to actually make the playoffs I would be absolutely floored and shocked. -

[Please Change Title]Marquise Goodwin

Don't we still have the same strength and conditioning coaches as before, or maybe it's the same athletic training staff (I think those are two separate things)? I feel like chronic injuries are a big thing here and we haven't addressed it adequately. -
Official fire Rick Dennison thread
ndirish1978 replied to Buffalo Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rick Dennison gives me the creeps. He looks like someone who collects used socks. Also, he's not good at coaching football. That is all. -
Do we make the upset in Foxboro?

I give it a conservative 99.9% chance we're not pulling off anything of the sort -
A open letter to Coach McDermott
ndirish1978 replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel like if printed this letter up and held it under a light on top of the article Schopp penned about his dream of giving advice to the ownership and getting sandwiches in the press box there might be some hidden cypher with directions that will lead me to ... somewhere not that special or important at all. -
A open letter to Coach McDermott
ndirish1978 replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We can do this, just send open letters and they will be read by the intended target?! Pleas stay tuned for my open letter to the producers of the Game of Thrones and my notes on how they can improve off of last season. It will be titled LAMP. -
How is it we are ahead of Balt in wild card standings?

Thanks @richNjoisy I appreciate the time you put into that explanation -
Will Bills Honor McCoy when career over
ndirish1978 replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's from PA. Probably would rather be honored in Philly. -
This team has been negatively impacted by poor decisions for 17 years. I doubt "the process" is going to be worse than those poor decisions. We will continue to suck

There are plenty of people who came in and offered their opinions. If the thread had stayed on point - everyone stating straight up opinions on the commentary, it would have ended yesterday. The people starting debates in here are the ones drawing it out. You can have an opinion that Beth was not good and not be a mysoginist. I get tired of people running in to tell me what I meant. I know what I meant when I wrote things. I found her voice annoying and I found her Bills knowledge lacking. There was no chemistry between the two and most of the attempts at lighthearted humor were awkward. Her pal came in here trying to equate her effort with her skill and I took issue with that logical fallacy. Where did I state that my personal opinion is law?

This is pure white-knighting BS. The thread was at like 5 pages when the game ended, then you all came out of the woodwork to show how you were better than the people complaining and to point out how progressive you are. Mowins was terrible, Feely was terrible. People complained about Solomon Wilcotts here all the time when he called our games, it's part of the inferiority complex people here have about getting the C squads as commentators. People complain about announcers. Get over it.

Sadly, we get outclassed by the Dolphins!

So, be honest. This is one you wish you had back isn't it -
Children - watch this thread: You'll rarely see so little incorrectly-perceived power go to someone's head so quickly and thoroughly. This man has walked into McDonalds with $3 and has declared himself lord of the dollar menu.

Your friend has a voice that was meant for silent films. Her "hard work" doesn't make her entertaining or particularly well-informed. Her one "observation" about how McCoy needed to change the way he carries the ball shows me she's never actually watched him run, he has always carried the ball like a loaf of bread. Hard-working doesn't compensate for a lack of talent.
