  1. I'm not pounding on this drum, but I sincerely believe he won't be on this team next year. They can still get something for him and I suspect availability is high on the list of things Bean looks for. Trading him would get us something decent in return and would help us with cap space.
  2. 2 reasons: 1 - Philly is better than us and has a young QB, if I'm him I chose to re-sign there. 2 - Not sure bringing back players who were around during the drought helps with culture change.
  3. Super bowl? In order to even get there you have to be dominant on one side of the ball. Our D at least has a good secondary, so to get there we would likely need to improve that first cause the offense is awful. On D we need: LB with speed. I'm not a huge Preston fan, but if he leaves we will need 2 of these. I think one of the LBs has to be a vet, it's too hard to succeed with zero experienced LBs. I would love to have Bradham back. Pass-Rushing DE Penetrating DT (draft) Run stuffing DT (I like Star Lotulelei for this) On offense we would need a LOT: QB - we will never get anywhere without a good QB, we either need to pay out the nose for Cousins or move up and draft one Playmaking WR with speed RG RT Promising young RB - we cannot be one injury away from having no running game
  4. Pit of Misery ... Dilly Dilly
  5. I'd like Braham back, but that's not happening
  6. Anyone see this week's episode? ***Spoilers*** One of the Lone Gunmen comes back and is living in a computer simulation, he says it's a paradise "The New England Patriots are here and they NEVER WIN!" I got a chuckle out of that. Feel free to move this to the other board, I just thought it was funny.
  7. Agreed, thanks CB What a pathetic overinflated sense of self-importance. You've been around here for a cup of coffee and anyone is supposed to care that you haven't noticed them? Not to mention the guy you're ripping on actually adds value to this board, while you add none. Take a walk. The main issue I have with this this stat is it is a reflection of 2 things and it doesn't really tell us which if those things was the issue in general: 1- the receivers aren't getting separation (which is true) and 2- the QB holds on to the ball for too long, waits for receivers to look open and then throws the ball once the coverage has had a change to recover and catch up (also true). The one thing I think it is helpful for is showing that the passing game is NOT good.
  8. Offer Cousins what we think he's worth or Move up in RD1 and draft a QB. I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that we can turn our two first rounders into a early first round pick if we follow the Eagles playbook and package one of our 20s with a player to move up around 10 and then trade the other 20 and the 10 and maybe kick in a third for an early pick this year. Use that pick to draft whomever we like at QB and then invest heavily in the OL.
  9. Would you prefer Bevell to Jim Bob Cooter? He technically still has a job, but that could end soon depending on the Lion's new HC
  10. His next infraction will result in a year long suspension. I would be willing to bet he doesn't make it through two seasons in Jax
  11. When did his bionic shoulder somehow heal enough to where he can play again
  12. What draft picks exactly? You can't afford to franchise him and if he really wanted to be there he would have signed a long term offer last year. The guy is going to walk.
  13. Let's not stop at these questions, I think we need to know MUCH more about him as a person before we REALLY know him: Where does he shop for groceries? Does he have a firm handshake? Is he a boxer or brief guy? What's his favorite color? What's his position on Die Hard being a Christmas movie? Does he cry at the movies? Has he ever ordered ranch dressing with his wings? Without knowing all of these I admit I'm going to have to be nervous too.
  14. It was a poorly worded post on my part, I can see how you might get that from what I wrote.
  15. Lol. I wish I didn't have to use him as an example, but he has played quite poorly. Unfortunately, he would probably get 3 years in Buffalo to prove the FO wrong.
  16. He is, disregard that post. Cousins has no reason to sign with Washington and they can't afford to re-sign him. There is quite literally almost no scenario in which the Redskins trade Cousins. Even if they franchised him again he's better off playing one more year that at that ridiculous salary ($38M) and hitting the market a year later than signing the franchise tag and letting them trade him anywhere. Even if that scenario played out, who is going to pay him $38 in the hopes he agrees to sign a long term contract? It's a ludicrous proposition.
  17. I don't mean he doesn't have the power to do it, I meant I don't think he can bring himself to fire a friend
  18. This obviously is correct. We need to do whatever it takes to get a QB now. Waiting around is a recipe for disaster. Would you rather have Wentz or Kizer? Because that's what you get when you settle for a later pick QB
  19. Castillo needs to go, but I don't think McD can pull that trigger
  20. I'd give up both our firsts, next year's first and 3rd and one of our 2s this year to get Rosen
  21. Agreed. I don't want another OC who can't use the talent he has available. McCaffrey played well when put in the opportunity to succeed, you can't waste talent in this league and expect to win.
  22. McCoy is our entire offense. They're not cutting their entire offense to save 3 million bucks.
  23. It's more likely we sign McCoy than Shula
  24. Peterman "battling" with an actual QB? Kind of an unfair situation for him.
