A very quiet signing, that they did yesterday. Nice. -

He is my all-time favorite, but since this was about professional football, I didn't mention him. -

Definitely. I've heard people say that Jim Nantz is above average when it comes to football, but he excels at The Masters. -

Agreed on Amber Heard. I read about some of the things she did to Depp, and she is psychotic. That being said, Depp is 20+ years older than her. Gotta be more wise, my man.

Buffalo Bills roster - Ascending, descending, shocking, packing
Mark Vader replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, I did a lot of thinking about the roster and these were just my takes from this. I wrote my response without looking at anyone else's picks, and I feel good about who I chose. -
Buffalo Bills roster - Ascending, descending, shocking, packing
Mark Vader replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ascending: Gabriel Davis. Probably too easy to pick this guy, but with nobody else in front of him, I see Davis making the most of the chances that will be given to him. Descending: Matt Milano. He's still relatively young, but I think he has reached his ceiling. Shocking: AJ Epenesa. The presence of Von Miller along with Ed Oliver, Greg Rousseau & Tim Settle will help Epenesa into becoming a bigger factor on defense. Packing: Taiwan Jones. The Bills find someone else younger who can do just as good a job. -
Have you ever seen one of your teams go all the way?

So it was, my mistake. -
Have you ever seen one of your teams go all the way?
Mark Vader replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
The first time I experienced one of my teams winning it all was in 1989 when Michigan won the College Basketball championship. I had never been so thrilled before. Next day at school I was wearing my Michigan shirt with pride. Nobody could touch me that day. I do not count Michigan's split national championship in football in 1997 as a win for me. The stupid coaches only gave it to Nebraska because Tom Osborne was retiring. Had a lot of frustration in baseball with the Giants. Getting swept by the A's in the earthquake series, then Dusty Baker making a terrible pitching decision in the 2002 series against the Angels. That all went away when the Giants not only won one World Series, but three of them in 2010, 2012 & 2014. Loved all of them. The Bills winning a Super Bowl of course would be the most exciting thing for me as a fan. -
Case in point: The Bills-Colts playoff game. Late in the 4th quarter Jordan Poyer stripped the ball out of the hands of the Colts WR. The Bills recover the ball, game over. Nope, the replay officials said the receiver's knee was on the ground(which it clearly wasn't) when Poyer touched him, therefore the play was over at that point. The NFL wanted a dramatic ending, and the Colts got their hail mary play at the end, it just went the Bills way.

Mel Kiper mock- Michigan DB Daxton Hill

Interesting, especially since Beane doesn't usually draft players from those schools, or the Big 10 for that matter. -
The Spring Season of movies comes to an end with the month of April. As usual these are the appetizers before the much bigger offerings of Summer begin in May. Action movies mostly dominate this month, but the biggest title is another return to the wizarding world before Harry Potter's time. Eddie Redmayne & Jude Law star in Warner Bros. "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore". Albus Dumbledore assigns Newt and his allies with a mission related to the rising power of Grindelwald. Despite a lackluster reaction to the previous movie, Warner Bros. is still committed to making more in this series. Although switching the scheduling from November to April was probably a wise decision. Also starring Ezra Miller, Mads Mikkelsen & Katherine Waterston. Directed by David Yates. Sony/Columbia Pictures continues it's venture into the Marvel universe with "Morbius". Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead. Starring Jared Leto, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona & Jared Harris. James Marsden & Jim Carrey return in Paramount Pictures "Sonic The Hedgehog 2". When the manic Dr Robotnik returns to Earth with a new ally, Knuckles the Echidna, Sonic and his new friend Tails is all that stands in their way. Also starring Ben Schwartz, Idris Elba & Tika Sumpter. Jake Gyllenhaal stars in Universal's "Ambulance". Two robbers steal an ambulance after their heist goes awry. Also starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Eiza Gonzalez & Garret Dillahunt. Directed by Michael Bay(oh boy). Mark Wahlberg & Mel Gibson star in "Father Stu". Follows the life of Father Stuart Long, a boxer-turned-priest who inspired countless people during his journey from self-destruction to redemption. Also starring Jacki Weaver & Faith Jefferies. Liam Neeson stars in "Memory". An assassin-for-hire finds that he's become a target after he refuses to complete a job for a dangerous criminal organization. A remake of the 2003 Belgian film 'The Memory of a Killer'. Also starring Ray Stevenson, Monica Belluci & Guy Pearce. Chris Pine is, "The Contractor". A discharged U.S. Special Forces sergeant, James Harper, risks everything for his family when he joins a private contracting organization. Also starring Gillian Jacobs, Sander Thomas, Toby Dixon, Ben Foster & Kiefer Sutherland. Alexander Skarsgard is, "The Northman". An action-filled epic that follows a young Viking prince on his quest to avenge his father's murder. Also starring Nicole Kidman, Claes Bang, Ethan Hawke, Anya Taylor-Joy & Willem Dafoe. Nicolas Cage stars in "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent". A cash-strapped Nicolas Cage agrees to make a paid appearance at a billionaire super fan's birthday party, but is really an informant for the CIA since the billionaire fan is a drug kingpin and gets cast in a Tarantino movie. Also starring Pedro Pascal, Demi Moore, Jacob Scipio, Tiffany Haddish & Neil Patrick Harris. In Dreamworks/Universal's animated "The Bad Guys", Several reformed yet misunderstood criminal animals attempt to become good, with some disastrous results along the way. Starring Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Awkwafina & Craig Robinson. Finally, in "You Won't Be Alone", In an isolated mountain village in 19th century Macedonia, a young girl is kidnapped and then transformed into a witch by an ancient spirit. Starring Noomi Rapace, Annamaria Marinca, Alice Englert & Sara Klimoska. Am I the only one who hasn't completely given up on Zack Moss?
Mark Vader replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was very disappointed with Moss last season. After his rookie year I really thought he had a chance at becoming the starter in 2021. That obviously did not happen. I am always willing to give a player another chance. Who knows maybe Kromer's O-Line system will make a huge difference. I don't think Moss will surpass Singletary as the starter, but if he can be a good RB2, I would consider that a huge positive. So, let's see what happens when we get to training camp, and then who will be the inactive RB behind Taiwan Jones.
