  1. Was that the pass that went off/through Willis' hands?
  2. I had 16 sacks in 10 games started, but it's actually 16 in 11 games started (forgot a start), which works out to a little over 23 sacks a season, which is LESS than Brady took.
  3. Like I said, it depends on how much of a "hometown deal" PW is willing to agree to accept.
  4. Like I said, "a foolish consistency..."
  5. I'd side with clump. If no other reason than he's an expert, and under your view, a team could possibly be OVER the cap in previous years by giving a signing bonus in an extension that increases cap hits in those years.
  6. A foolish consistency?
  7. It will all depend on PW's asking price. Anything more than what he's making now, and he's gone.
  8. He doesn't think JP is ready and/or Drew thinks that the team is close with him as starting QB. I guess we'll find out and I hope Drew is wrong now that it's over with him.
  9. Bledsoe didn't want to backup Brady, whom he mentored and was a (player who shouldn't have won a) SB MVP (but did). Why would he want to backup a guy he mentored but hasn't proven anything? Another way to take it is that he doens't see much in Losman yet, i.e. he's not even close to Bledsoe. And if you think Bledsoe sucks, you should be scared shitless by that thought.
  10. Maybe you haven't been paying attention, but I've been saying this since that embarrassment of a season finale by ALL INVOLVED, including the defense and ST's. When you as an offense have 5 runs for 0 or negative yards, dropped passes, stupid penalties, a lack of TE's, and a missed FG, it's obviously more than just about the QB. And that's not even talking about the performance of the defense and ST's. In theory, it's "easy." However when you're dealing with a 2nd year QB who missed most of his 1st season with a broken leg, the reality if it's far from "easy." They DON'T know. That's why JP is already in Buffalo. Hopefully JP shines and makes the decision a correct one because, whether one likes the move to dump Bledsoe or not, it's done and we have to move forward. But to blame the problems on offense on Bledsoe is ridiculous. That's the reason why the Bills will be focusing on improving the O-line, getting healthy/better TE's, and finding a dependable 3rd WR. But guess what? Those things would have helped Bledsoe out a lot this past season as well.
  11. No it's easier to blame one person. But all will be fine with JP. And Shane Matthews backing-up of course.
  12. Don't kid yourself. It WAS everybody.
  13. Don't worry. Things will be better.
  14. I can't see them franchising Hasselbeck. Is he worth $9M a year? I DO see them franchising Alexander. Then Edge will be franchised. That will leave Lamont Jordan as the only real FA competition for Henry, which will be good. As for Jennings, I say let's "move forward" at the LT spot.
  15. The Bills still need a 3rd QB.
  16. Salary cap WITH linkage and open books. Follow the NFL's model. There's no other way to do it.
  17. I built and painted my own (1-3/4" thick maple) body, slapped-on a neck with a reverse explorer head and ebony fretboard, put in a humbucker (forget the name, some small brand named after some guy, but it's a good pickup), and a Floyd Rose. Have a Peavey tube amp. I plan on building another and have the neck (same kind as above) and an EMG-81 pickup. This time I'm going to glue a mahogany top onto a maple body, with the idea that the neck bolts-onto the maple for sustain, and the pickup mounts onto the mahogany to add some warmth. Don't know what, if any, tremolo system I'll use. And I hope to get a Marshall half-stack, or maybe build a cab and buy a head if I'm feeling adventurous.
  18. What slut would I like to sit next to on a plane flight? Hmmm....
  19. Good to see the players finally came to their senses about the inevitability of a salary cap. That's the first step. The next step is agreeing on a percentage of revenue and having an arbitrator determine the amount of revenue generated by the NHL. Forget this "pick a number" crap.
  20. Good for the NFL! Now move that team to LA and stop all the ridiculous "Buffalo could move to LA" crap!
  21. I liked the kid a lot in college. I just don't know if at that height (I'm going by the 6'0" I've seen) he can make it in the NFL.
  22. Hilarious. How about this addition: DB: "But Tom, what about you?" TD: "F' you!" DB: "No Tom what about you?" TD: "F' you!" DB: NO TOM! What about you?" TD: "F' you!" Slam.
