  1. I meant "leave" as it's usual definition not "vacation," i.e. "leaving morals behind."
  2. Good luck Drew. You did a lot more for the Bills than a lot of Bills fans have the sense to realize.
  3. I think that McFarland will end up playing LG.
  4. McGee will be a RFA. The Bills will have a chance to match any offer he gets.
  5. Actually it was LESS than Brady. He was sacked 16 times in 11 games, which works out to 23 sacks for the season (Brady was sacked 26 times). But it's moot now. Hopefully JP can take advantage of the pass protection.
  6. And don't worry. With JP's mobility, he'll never be sacked.
  7. Not to mention against the Cowboys in the 1st SB. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Moulds wasn't as consistent as Reed, but when Moulds is on his game, he's a better WR. I'd say it's a wash. And McGahee isn't Thurman...yet. Give him Thurman's O-line and WATCHOUT! I disagree The NFL as a whole is a lot weaker than prior to FA and expansion. It's just the effect of parity making more teams appear tougher.
  8. I think that LJS' potential with a guy like JMac is higher. I mean, who's he had coaching him in AZ?
  9. I'm sure the Bills wouldn't acquire any OL without JMac's approval. If he thinks LJS is worth getting, I have NO problem with it. It beats getting a 2nd rounder for Henry and using it on an OL rookie who likely won't be up-to-speed for awhile.
  10. There are more than a few teams looking for a new RB. That does NOT include teams who are franchising their top RB's. However by franchising them instead of letting them hit the market, it severely restricts the number of those aforementioned teams from going after them, since it would cost a 1st rounder plus a ton of money. Basically it makes trading a 2nd rounder for Henry at $1.25M this year a HUGE bargain. However this could all be moot if the trade of Henry for Shelton goes through. And as was mentioned, if McNally thought enough of him that the Bills gave Shelton a physical, it's even BETTER than getting a 2nd rounder.
  11. With Losman, the Bills will NEED an O-line resembling the early 90's ones. Oh and Evans is Lofton in his prime in Buffalo (1990-1991), not Beebe. Beebe was a flyer who was inconsistent. Although he was still a better 3rd WR than what the Bills currently have.
  12. Semantics. What I'm still saying is that had Weis or Crennel been free sometime during the playoffs, they would have gotten head coaching gigs. Crennel became a slam-dunk for the Browns with the way his defense performed despite multiple injuries. As it stood, Weis took the job with ND well before the playoffs ended, ostensibly because of what happened last year. And make no mistake, the Bills WOULD have hired him, even if the Pats had lost to Tennessee (and the Steelers did WHAT in the playoffs last year?).
  13. That's because no one wanted to wait. The Bills probably would have made Weis their next HC otherwise.
  14. Brady obviously has enough sense to realize that he's as replaceable as anyone on that team, hence the reason he doesn't want to break the bank and make the Pats think twice about keeping him. Brady without Belichick and maybe having to FACE Belichick wouldn't be anywhere NEAR as successful as he's been, and I think Brady knows that deep down.
  15. If it weren't for the rule saying that coaches who are in the playoffs can't accept coaching offers before their season ends, Weis and Crennel would have been gone last year. Those will be 2 tough losses to bear.
  16. It's obviously about the money. Unless GM took the car back, it's not like they stole his likeness without any previous business dealings. Simply suing them to stop using his likeness and refusing to do business with them ever again is enough of a deterrent for GM to pull something like this again.
  17. There are other teams with more money to spend who will pay Coles a ton. I think the Iggles would be the most logical place.
  18. They should have asked LeClair if his employees will be making as much as him.
  19. It was Bob Goodenow.
  20. I disagree. That season finale against the Steelers really put the previous 9 weeks into perspective. However hopefully they've learned from it, in terms of what they need in terms of personnel and how to play when faced with that situation again. There is NO WAY Vinatieri won't be franchised.
  21. The NFL has the ONLY model that works. I can't say it enough times.
  22. The deal should be Henry for Shelton straight-up. If the Cards want a pick, they can take a flying leap.
  23. Good point. Hopefully it happens then.
  24. I'd REALLY like to know what McNally thinks of Shelton. I means it's not even worth talking about trading for him if McNally doesn't think much of him.
