His 40-time doesn't bother me as much as him quitting does. That tells me that if he isn't a success immediately in the NFL, he won't put in hard work to get better. In college his talent might have been enough to get him by, but that won't fly in the NFL. I'd maybe spend a late rounder on him, but I'm sure someone will take him higher.

They could, but I'm sure if the Vikes had wanted Woodson, they would have traded Moss for him originally. I doubt the Raiders would want to give their 7th overall AND Woodson AND Harris for Moss. But who knows?

Well they're calling him a suspect now. I guess this guy was either so arrogqnt to think he could STILL avoid capture, or wanted to be caught. Well in either case, it looks like they got him. And since the crimes were committed before 1994, he can't be executed, which will at least save money.

Teams have to be under the cap by March 2nd, right? I seriously doubt anyone has offered to sign Woodson and give the Raiders draft picks. In that case, the Raiders probably won't be able to trade for Moss without a major roster purge.

Any player who is cut is free to sign with anyone, and are considered a FA. Only players who weren't cut become UFA's on March 2nd.

Actually I could care less about that. I just didn't want the thread to devolve into a pissing contest about alleged inside sources. That could very well be possible. I think that the combine is the PERFECT venue for gamesmanship by TD to drive-up Henry's value. And again, I'd rather the Bills didn't trade for Woodson with his injury, attitude, and high salary problems, but that's one rumor I've heard.

The latest is the Bills have been talking with the Raiders about trading Travis to them and have left the Cards in the dust. No report on what or whom the Bills would get for Travis, but speculation is that it's for Charles Woodson (with possibly the Bills throwing in a pick), whose agent Carl Poston has said that he has a long-term deal in place with another team. More to follow obviously and don't shoot the messenger. Don't know if I like that idea, and I'd rather it were a player like Jake Grove.

Well I guess we'll see now just how much Drew was holding back the offense, and whether JP has what it takes. That (50% playoff appearances) is worse than they did WITH TD. And they choked again in the playoffs, despite having HFA throughout. The facts are the Steelers will never win a SB with Cowher.
