  1. ...until he gets injured again. I loved his combine stats, but his college production and injury history made me wary of him. Matt Jones has the same numbers, if not better, but doesn't have the experience at TE and is durable.
  2. It seemed like she was trying to get the others to hang themselves if they lost, by un-Project Managing them. And I also rolled my eyes at the "Trump said I was beautiful" thing. There, I did it again!
  3. Dennis Green is a fool. I'm glad he's not the coach of the Bills.
  4. I'm not worrying about it anymore. I'm leaving it all up to Jim McNally.
  5. I heard he was coaching? Maybe a player/coach thing?
  6. I'm not arguing the PAST strategy, but as SH said, they've lost more than a few important players and coaches, so using the PAST strategy likely isn't going to cut it anymore. We'll see, but if Belichick can win any more SB's, I'll be the first in-line to call for his immediate enshrinement into the HOF.
  7. Mike Mamula?! Or Friggin' Lonnie again?
  8. It's worse than the plague. At least with the plague, you could tell who had it, and it killed quickly. And it's only going to get worse with no end in sight if things stay they way they are.
  9. It's based on more than just that, FYI. Mason was one example. But I also don't see any big-names that they signed, or anyone (except for Hartwell) talking about wanting to play for them, and no Duane Starks doesn't count. Yeah, if you say so.
  10. No, not "no one." I DID mention Hartwell.
  11. A couple interesting things from the interview were that JP didn't take offense to Drew's "especially JP" comment and chalked it up to it just coming out wrong, and that he acknowledged being unprepared for the NE game. I also didn't think he sounded like a girl and like his voice compared to some of the past QB's. Hopefully he continues to be like that in interviews instead of becoming stiff.
  12. Derrick Mason seemed to think so.
  13. The Pats were a major exception. They were able to take no-names and make a great team because of great coaching. Now that coaching has been fractured and it will be IMHO almost impossible for them to duplicate the success they've had. The Bills have good coacehs, but not on the level of what the Pats had. So therefore they need better than "Patriots individual" talent. However I don't favor signing a bunch of high-priced guys, and I'd be fine with letting McNally being left to make the O-line decisions on his own and adding a decent #3 WR.
  14. I don't know if it's a matter of panicking as it is Henry's contract/demands.
  15. True. Look at all the teams beating down Arizona's door for Shelton.
  16. We'll see. It doesn't seem like anyone thinks they're a prime destination anymore, except for maybe Edgerton Hartwell.
  17. I doubt Brown returns to them and if last year is any indication, his abilities are in major decline. The Pats made a major push to sign Derrick Mason, even offering him a higher contract that the Ravens did, but Mason's wife wanted to be in Baltimore. And it will be interesting to see what happens with Givens' situation, i.e. will he holdout for more money than the $1.43M tender.
  18. Someone told me that Richards said about Sheen "I can overlook the cocaine, but not the wandering eye." Nice. He's a man whore.
  19. Boldin for Bennett? Are you friggin' kidding me?! Denny Green is a certifiable moron. He'll be gone from that team in 2 years, tops.
  20. Cut Wire, cut Prioleau. Sign Alex Bannister to be the ST's maven.
  21. [Making buzzer sound] So, you risk Losman behind a weak O-line and potentially get BOTH his legs broken? While Bledsoe has been durable throughout his career, and if you lose him, hey, you still have Losman? Makes sense to me! All I can say is, I hope the Bills are letting McNally run the show WRT the O-line and that it's BETTER than it was last year. Otherwise JP is going to get killed.
  22. The proof will be in the pudding. But hey, they had a good run.
  23. I want to see what Jordan can do being the #1 guy. And I agree that $2.5M a year is the most I'd pay for him. The Raiders are idiots.
  24. If it walks like a duck... Andruzzi is gone. Brown is gone. Patten is probably gone. Bruschi's career is probably over. And Weis and Crennel are gone. But keep telling yourself "All is well!"
