  1. That's what I figured was the problem. Nothing like sitting on the bench and getting 5-10 carries a game for the season, to enhance those FA contract numbers!
  2. Damn 2 suns! Ben obviously didn't wear enough sunscreen.
  3. It looks like Christiansen took some acting lessons. Also considering there's about a 20 year timespan from when Luke and Leia are born and the start of episode 4, DAMN Ben Kenobi aged a ton!
  4. Teague tore his ACL in the 2nd game of the 2000 season. He returned to play most of the pre-season in 2001 and all of that season, meaning he played well within the "you need at least 2 years to fully recover from an ACL injury" time period. I'm willing to give him a shot now that he's far removed from that ACL injury, he's working with McNally, and there's a need.
  5. Pro wrestling is kicking MNF's ass and has been for at least 5 years now. Sad.
  6. Gandy's history doesn't excite me all that much. He could be a find. However I liked Bannan's potential. And Peters and Teague are likely the 2 main competitors at LT, assuming the Bills find a new starting center.
  7. I'd agree with that. That's why I'll be taking the wife.
  8. Gandy looks like depth. But he'll probably get a shot to start at LG. I just think that Bannan shows untapped potential, whereas with the other guys, you pretty much know what you're getting. He said it in his press conference. I believe he's played there with the Colts a couple games.
  9. I also think that DeMulling, if signed, will play center, leaving Teague to contend for the LT spot. The LT spot will be between him and Peters. As for OG, I think we'll probably see Bannan there.
  10. This is gonna be ONE depressing movie, man.
  11. What Vincent got from the Ravens was NOT starter money. And Simmons problems makes having Vincent, even as a backup, worthwhile. None offered a lot of money for him. And the Bills didn't even show interest. Are you saying the Bills couldn't afford what the Ravens gave him?
  12. Simmons has had trouble staying healthy and has problems with diabetes. Letting a seemingly great insurance policy like Vincent go seems more like they didn't think too much of him. And the fact that it seemed that few teams were interested in him, and that he signed for peanuts with the Ravens, supports that.
  13. Why did the Steelers let him walk?
  14. It wasn't the corners. It was the pass rush. You know like Taylor nailed Brady and Brady throwing a retarded INT while almost on his back. But I think that the Colts would entertain trading for Surtain and a pick. Oh and yeah, what a crappy year to try and trade a RB! I don't consider Travis to be as good as James and Alexander, and if they're going for 2nd rounders, Travis won't get anything higher than a 3rd. But such is life in such a fluky market.
  15. The NFL will never have a team in LV. Too much potential for MAJOR corruption. And I don't see the stadium issue as being one that prevents the Bills from staying.
  16. Interesting to see who tries to trade for him, what they are willing to give up, and whether the Broncos DO trade him.
  17. No way. With only 1 first day draft pick, the 2nd overall which will cost a ton of money, the Dolphins wouldn't pay James the big bucks AND draft a big bucks RB. I think they look to trade down and stockpile picks in any case, James or not.
  18. Like I said, I think they're looking at FA OL to play center, so that they can remove Teague from there to either compete at LT, backup, or be cut. And $3M a year for DeMulling is too much.
  19. You're right! They also traded their 3rd rounder for Gordon, right? If so, that leaves them with just 1-1st day pick, the 2nd overall. Being that it's a weak draft, I wonder if anyone tries to trade up with them?
  20. At this point, I say hold onto Travis and see if someone is desperate for a RB later-on, like the Dols were last year. As for Edge, I can see Miami making a push for him, offering their 2nd rounder, which is basically a late 1st rounder. The Dols though haven't been in the running for Travis for awhile now, so no big change.
  21. After seeing that thread about McNally liking Bannan and Peters, I don't think that the Bills are in any big hurry to sign someone like DeMulling, Vincent, Shelton, etc. I think that they are looking more to replace Teague at center than anything else, but won't break the bank to do it, and probably feel comfortable having Teague still be the starting center. JMO.
  22. Not exactly. In Brady's first year as a starter (2001), the Pats dumbed-down the playbook and featured the running game, relying on great defense and ST's to carry the team. The Bills would be wise to do the same, at least initially.
