  1. No wait, it's B. AAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!
  2. So when you die, the same can be said of your wishes, i.e. your will? While she didn't leave a "living will," she made her wishes know, according to her husband, while she was of sound mind and body (relatively speaking). I mean this woman had an eating disorder because she was self-conscious about the way she looked. Looking at it impartially, do you THINK she wants to be in a PVS and have her face plastered all over the media for all to see now? Again I've been saying "don't pick a side except for Terri's and look at it from her viewpoint." I've been advocating allowing Terri to die. What cinched it for me was reading yesterday that a CT scan done on her showed that her cerebral cortex, i.e. that part of the brain that allows someone to truly "live" and not just exist (which is primarily the function of the brainstem, which is intact for her), has atrophied to almost nothing and has been replaced by CSF. Sorry but you CANNOT regrow cerebral cortex. Therefore she will never get better no matter how long you wait and how much physical therapy you give her. Moreover all of her expressions/articulations are merely primitive response. And since the cerebral cortex is the place where sensory information is processed as conscious awareness of pain, she won't truly "feel" any while she is not being fed. Now I understand the family's plight here, but they're simply being selfish and unrealistic. I told my wife that if, god forbid, we were faced with that situation, we'd have the sense to realize what's in the best interest of our child, not our selfish needs. They've even said that they'd be willing to cut-off her arms and legs (i.e. if they were infected from sores) to keep her alive. Does that sound rational to anyone?
  3. Doubtful. You can't do much with stojan. It's pretty worthless.
  4. Hmmmm, interesting. After film review, the Bills don't think that a Henry for Shelton swap is an equal trade. What they're basically asking for with the swap of 2nd's is Henry for Shelton plus a pick equal to the first/second pick of the 4th round. Doesn't sound like the Bills think all that highly of Shelton after all.
  5. How much is it gonna cost to "rebuild" Favre? O'Dwyer was an average OL in his prime, which he's way past. And Klemm is a scrub. Ruegamer is slightly better than Klemm, but that's not saying much. Also it's not like the Packers' center is a spring chicken either.
  6. ...and for Willis to feel "slapped in the face" by the Bills for taking his nemesis, with a fairly high pick no less!
  7. He wasn't given much to work with his last year there (thankfully, for us) and injuries took their toll. He's got some good players to work with here. Oh and didn't you hear? Getting rid of Bledsoe made the entire OFFENSE better.
  8. I get the feeling that if the Bills were interested in Shelton enough, they'd have been willing to cough-up the 3rd rounder awhile ago.
  9. The market price for Shelton is a 4th rounder. No one wants to give up a 1st day pick.
  10. ...but they Doobie Brothers. Sorry, couldn't resist.
  11. ROTFLMAO! That...was...awesome! No wait, I mean queer! No wait...
  12. Probably did that to produce a better 40-time. It didn't help since he ran just under 4.60. His speed and quickness are gone. Forget him.
  13. Gore isn't nearly as good as Willis, and he's proven to be highly injury-prone. I wouldn't take him with a 5th rounder, much less a 3rd.
  14. It's not that they don't want him. They're more than happy to keep him as a great backup for just $1.25M. And TD holding firm at a 2nd rounder also tells others the Bills want him.
  15. Bob Dylan? That would be a weird choice at LT! Althought I guess he could talk in the crazy way he does and confuse the opposing DE.
  16. I can foresee teams jockeying to get one of the top 3 "blue chip" RB's and leaving another team high and dry, and making Travis look VERY tempting. We'll see. Then there's later-on in the off-season/pre-season, when teams lose RB's to injury, pot, etc.
  17. Anttaj Hathaway will be there in the 2nd round. Anttaj Hawthorne OTOH won't be.
  18. I remember being psyched when I first heard they'd workout together. Then when I heard they didn't, it was like "figures." Don't know who was to blame, but it probably wouldn't have made a whole lot of difference, given RJ's penchant for injury.
  19. It might have...had it happened. Apparently they never hooked-up that off-season like they planned, and the results spoke for themselves.
  20. weren't willing to give him more than what the Lions offered. That according to his agent. If that's the case, good riddance.
  21. I'm not talking about his current Bills contract. I'm saying that Henry has every right to look at what Jordan got and expect the same, if not more, from a team interested in him, as contracts are usually redone upon completion of a trade. To put his stats compared to Jordan's into even more perspective, Jordan's CAREER stats of 1277 yards for 11 TD's aren't even better than TWO of Henry's years with the Bills, while Jordan's CAREER receptions of 50 are just 7 more than Henry's 43 in 2002. And again, Henry's worst year fumbling saw his average at once every 29.5 touches, versus once every 21 touches for Jordan. The Raiders seriously overpaid for Jordan and I'm willing to bet it bites them in the ass.
  22. When you're slated to be a backup, and possibly a starter for the Bears, you're not a good player.
  23. Why shouldn't Travis want what Jordan got, or even more? Jordan has proven nothing except that he can be a great backup. He hasn't rushed for more than 480 yards (!), scored more than 4 TD's, or caught more than 17 passes in a single season. As for fumbling, he fumbled 4 times in just 84 attempts back in 2002, which is FAR worse than Travis' average. Just about the ONLY real thing I can say he's better than Travis at is pass blocking, but that doesn't warrant being paid even the same as Travis. Still I hope Travis faces reality and realizes his best option is to allow for a trade somewhere where he can start (the defenseively lame-ass NFC West would have been perfect) to play-out his contract, and then hit UFA next year.
  24. He'd tell you the same. He's only going by the numbers he's seen reported.
