  1. Come on VA, both Losman AND Shane Matthews could have QB's the Bills to the SB last year. Drew Bledsoe was the reason ALONE they missed the playoffs. Haven't you been paying attention?
  2. The #2 overall pick is worth the Cowboys' 2-1st rounders AND their 2nd round pick, if you go by the draft pick value boards. If the Dolphins are willing to trade the #2 overall pick for Dallas' 2-1st rounders alone, they probably jump at the chance. However I doubt that happens and I doubt the Cowboys give up their first 3 picks.
  3. IOW, it's NEVER Garcia's fault!
  4. The Bills are going to need a good backup.
  5. "So I guess you'll hammer later."
  6. It would be worth the $10 just to change the lettering each day.
  7. I can write "write" each letter of the alphabet...
  8. The SB. JP will take us there.
  9. None of them compare to melanoma, or whatever the new future-ex-wife's name is.
  10. Well even though I think JP has a TON to prove, Kelly's comments could be due to any number of reasons. Maybe JP wasn't respectful to JK or made some comment about losing 4 SB's? I don't know, so we'll just have to wait and see. I hope JP makes it but like I said, he's got a LOT to prove.
  11. Yeah, it's not like he didn't mentor Tom Brady. I thought he had all the qualities until he broke his leg on a routine play, and then looked like sh-- against the Pats and later said he was "unprepared." JP has a LONG way to go to show me he's even going to be a good QB, much less a bonafide starter.
  12. So who was playing the part of the "patsy troll?"
  13. So what was the deal with the thread, tom? Did you hear Kelly say that, or was it a hypothetical?
  14. The over/under was saved.
  15. Not true. First off, Edge and Alexander stand a good chance of being franchised and Johnson stands a good chance of being transitioned. Jordan as has been said shows promise but has proven NOTHING yet. And if Edge and Alexander don't get franchised by the Colts and Seahags respectively, those teams will then need RB's.
  16. Not overpaying Eric, just not creating a bigger debt down the road.
  17. Don't the Jets have enough money to keep Jordan? And it's not like they were going to franchise Jordan.
  18. The difference is that Eric isn't an UFA like Price and Winfield, and Eric got paid pretty well. I just hope TD isn't going down the same route Butler did and that the Bills get a pay cut, if even modest, out of Eric. I praised him highly when he signed his long-term deal a few years back that was below market value for him. Or at least I THOUGHT it was below market value (I didn't have any proof of that, i.e. other teams' offers).
  19. Why are we so grateful to Eric over this? He'll likely make just as much money as before, but instead of having to account for it now, the Bills will have to account for it later. Now if his extension involved paying him LESS money overall than he would have made, I'll say "thank you Eric."
  20. You mean like Crennel and Weis? Mangini should take the best offer. Loyalty is a crock when your boss (Belichick) is making a ton and they don't want to pay you as much as another team does. Pony up the cash, Bobby!
  21. Now I know you're SERIOUSLY on crack. A 1st rounder for Shelton? Sorry no way in hell. I'd say an even-up trade for Shelton with Henry is reasonable, and the only reason I'd trade for Shelton is because HOPEFULLY McNally can teach him properly and HOPEFULLY Daimon can keep him focused and working hard.
  22. Commesurate to salary, yes.
  23. Yeah the only way to trade RJ to Miami is to make him a FP, but he's NOT a franchise RB. No one would pay him the average of the top-5 RB's AND give up a draft pick. I read that the Bengals might transition tag him instead, but they'd only get right of first refusal.
  24. Anderson isn't going anywhere. And Bannan will probably be tried-out at OG at worst, before being shown the door.
