  1. Bird flu. He was trying to release a dove that kept flying back at him because it was so cold outside. He'll be fine. He's like a cat and he's still got a few more lives left in him.
  2. He could have 2,000 RUSHING yards, if the Bills can field an O-line that doesn't make Willis finish in the top-3 in rushes for losses. Upgrading the O-line is THE priority over everything else this off-season. A better TE, 3rd WR, and kicker would be nice, but the problems this season were on offense, and it all starts with the O-line.
  3. Actually now that I think about it, the interesting part is this: Saban is friends with Belichick. However Spielman and Huizenga are not. If I'm them, I'm looking at Mangini and wanting HIM, not Pees, for the reasons I mentioned above (contract up, Belichick's choice for DC, have the money to throw at him). But does Saban tell them "no way, I'm not screwing-over a friend" or does he say "screw friendship" and go after Mangini? Or are Spielman and Huizenga too dumb/weak to want Mangini and tell Saban to go after him? I don't know, but I DO know that I read that Saban might be interested in Mangini (I think from Len P), so there might be some fire with that smoke.
  4. I have a problem calling the Bills a "dynasty" when they didn't win a SB during those years. Maybe an "AFC dynasty," but that's about it. And as for the 3rd SB, Jimbo getting hurt early killed the Bills' chances, but it would have likely been a loss even if he played the whole game. For all the people harping on Drew's play, Jimbo came up REAL SMALL in the SB, and stayed out all night (morning) prior to the game, which pisses me off!
  5. I heard Pees' name being mentioned. I guess that (LSU) would be the connection because Pees has only coached in the NFL for a year. However I think Saban would want Mangini first, seeing as how: Belichick wants him to be his next DC, he'll be free to go wherever he wants after his contract expires, and Saban has the cash to throw at him. It will be an interesting situation to watch.
  6. I'm sure he'll be yelling out a few "Jesus Christ"s during the game.
  7. How about turf cam the sidelines?
  8. All good beers. The best I ever had was a chocolate (yes, real chocolate) porter than I brewed with my bro back about 10 years ago. I've GOT to get back into brewing.
  9. I hope they do. I'm not a big hockey fan (only watch it during the playoffs if the Sabres make it), but I understand the need for the NHL to return AND for there to be a salary cap to make a team like the Sabres competitive again.
  10. The question is whether the players will go for it.
  11. I thought it was very Heineken-like, which to me is kind of skunky. My favorite beer is Bass ale. I occasionally go to the local liquor store where they have virtually every brew and "microbrew" available, and keep coming back to Bass.
  12. I thought Mangini was going to be the DC for sure. I recall Belichick refusing to let him interview to be the DC of some team last year, maybe the Raiders. However a recent report I read said that Nick Saban really wants Mangini, whose contract expires in February. Since he's been out-offering other teams for coaches (like Houck, Linehan, etc.), he's expected to make a significant offer to Mangini to be his DC. The question is whether Mangini wants the money, seeing as how the Pats are notoriously cheap with their assistant coaches and aren't likely to match Saban's offer?
  13. I LOVE the taste of cold! Now Coors OTOH...
  14. When I went to Disney, one of the waitresses (at EPCOT's England restaurant) said that Stella Artois, a Belgian beer, is the best-selling beer in England. I found that interesting.
  15. He's rarely ever healthy enough to put up decent numbers. He's had 1 season where he eclipsed 700 yards, in his 4 in the NFL. It was on KFFL and mentioned here on TBD a few days ago.
  16. Once Willis was inserted into the starting lineup, the Bills gave up an average of 1.6 sacks per game. That works out to about 26 sacks for the season, which is what Tom Brady took with the Pats (since everyone likes to talk about the two together). So mobility isn't the main issue obviously. What the Bills NEED is an O-line that can open holes and keep Willis from being in the top-3 in runs for losses, so as to take pressure off the QB, be it Drew or JP (and if Drew DOES come back, hopefully it is truly an open competition and the best man wins). They also need a dependable 3rd WR, a TE or 2 (with Campbell and Euhus being shelved with ACL injuries), and a kicker who can hit FG's in the 40+-yard range, again whether the QB be Drew or JP.
  17. None is a "feature" back. And the Vikes openly expressed interest in him, so that's a known fact. How much they want him is anyone's guess at this point.
  18. What did ol' Vince have to say about kickers? Or a strong willed team?
  19. Is he a good receiver, in the "gifted" mold? He'sa at best a 3rd down RB, and if he's not a natural pass catcher, he likely won't make it in the NFL.
  20. I should have added :sarcasm: I believe what you wrote.
  21. LIAR! Just had to be the first to say it! Sounds about right.
