  1. How about so that we "pander to the needs of" McGahee, you know, so he doesn't get stuffed on almost every 1st down? And just say no to a high-priced OG. Villarrial is as expensive at it gets.
  2. It's not gadgetry per se, it's their ability to call plays, make in-game adjustments, and devise gameplans that get the most out of their players. The players playing smart and sticking to the plan is a necessary but lesser part of the whole thing.
  3. It will hurt. Crennel maybe not so much (although Belichick never had as dominating a defense with Saban as his DC), but Weis for sure.
  4. Kurt Warner? What does it say about Warner that the Giants benched him for a rookie (albeit a 1st overall selection rookie) when they were still in the playoff hunt, and didn't go BACK to him, despite Manning losing 7 straight games?
  5. The Vikes don't have a #1 RB. They have a collection of part-timers. None have put together the seasons that Travis has, so I can understand them wanting him. Also Mike Tice is their coach. Hey, maybe Travis for Moss!
  6. It's Bledsoe's fault they lost that Jags game thanks to 3 blown 4th down plays, just like it was RJ's fault that the HomeJob ThrowUp happened. Think about that one.
  7. I'd say what HELD the team back this year, i.e. a slow start. That being said, I don't think they go 0-4 to start the season, and that they DO make the playoffs next year. However the moves over the off-season will determine whether they go far in the playoffs or make an early exit.
  8. Bledsoe deserves some blame, but not more than any other part, and certainly NOT the majority of it. I mean Lindell kicking-off to the 26 and the ST's allowing a return to the Bills' 49 (with penalty) to set-up a TD drive by the Steelers' 2nd stringers is inexcusable. The O-line failing to get McGahee more than a yard on 1st down more than once is inexcusable. Lindell missing a 28-yard kick is inexcusable. The defense allowing the Steelers' 3rd string offense to score 6 points and go on a 9-minute drive is inexcusable. And as has been mentioned, the coaching was inexcusable. Bottom line is they played tight while the Steelers played loose, and mistake from ALL AROUND resulted. Hopefully the team learned and grew from that, and as I've said, there are numerous changes that need to be made other than QB, if even that.
  9. Nice overstatement. And teams can't offer anything until March 2nd. Moreover no one knows which UFA RB's will be frachised, re-signed, or whatnot. So making an offer NOW would be stupid anyway. But I like that the Vikes are interested.
  10. I wonder if Wade ever looks back and wonders why he ever risked his head coaching career on THAT guy? Friendship can only take you so far.
  11. Get over it HD. Without Bledsoe's 10 points (compared to Brady's ZERO, so the lead wasn't due to him), the Pats lose the game. If you want me to explain how football is totally unlike baseball (and quickly, in baseball defense cannot score points and there are no ST's)< i can do that. But like I said, Belichick has won big games without key players like Law, Seymour, and in that case Brady, and in fact won it WITH Bledsoe. Oh and here's an article you might find interesting: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...=bayless/050128
  12. Maybe he'll draft all RB's and QB's?
  13. Anything but safety. Actually I don't have a clue since there's FA before the draft so they may fill some holes there, and I don't know if they'll get an extra 2nd for Travis. Those 2 things will change what position(s) I think they'll draft.
  14. No way safety. They have Baker.
  15. Gary Anderson WANTED to get cut. I hate that bastard! I love the fact that he choked on that kick to send the Vikes to the SB backn in 1998. As for the TE's, I think Euhus had the potential to be better than average, but with him and Campbell coming off late-season ACL injuries, they'll be useles for most of the season, if not all of it. I think the Bills need to address it, along with O-line.
  16. With a booty that big, they could be hemo-roids. Man, I don't believe I just said that.
  17. The Steelers were a top-5 rushing team in 2001 and 2002. Last year they weren't as good because the O-line stunk. Since the Bills are going with the run-first offense, they need an O-line like those 2001-2002 and 2004 Steelers O-lines.
  18. Someone posted a link saying it was a set-up and that a friend was driving the other car, but the kid got hurt. If that's true, it was staged to a point.
  19. I see fine. However with your head firmly planted up Tommy's ass, it's YOU who has trouble seeing. All I needed to do was point out that Belichick won a big game WITHOUT Brady, back in 2001. You know the game I'm talking about, dontcha?! Oh and I'm SURE the "Ben R. is undefeated as a starter" didn't get to you guys! You're all tho thenthitive about your Tommy Boy.
  20. Frick! The Bills didn't need him to make the Pro Bowl before locking him up long-term!
  21. Another Oscar for Hillary "Mrs. Chad Lowe" Swank?
  22. Ben's got Natalie Gulbis. And I don't obsess over QB's. I just call it like I see (and read) it.
  23. What happened to the post that said that this was from the show Jackass? Was that wrong? In any case, while it may have been set-up, I doubt the kid getting bashed in the head by the on-coming car was part of the plan. And if it was, he got what he deserved.
  24. All I want of the Pittsburgh model is a strong O-line. Their TE's are mostly blockers, and I want one(s) that can catch AND block. I also want a good kicker.
