  1. He's an UFA. I guess that's the reason (i.e. that they can't afford to bring him back). I say make a play for him.
  2. They played on turf back then, and IIRC that wasn't a kick to win or lose the game, much less the SB.
  3. It wasn't Norwood's fault. That was beyond his range of accuracy, not distance. He had never made a kick that long before on grass, much less to decide the SB. The fault lay with the coaching staff and other players who heard footsteps and dropped passes, or who allowed long time-consuming drives.
  4. According to STATS, Inc., he allowed 0.5 sacks this year in 16 games started. I don't know why the Steelers are so quick to kick him to the curb, though?!
  5. My wife agreed with Kristen, but I told her that they need a dumpster, so it should be ordered and the budget should then be $19,300. However replacing all the toilets was stupid, as was the decision to not even vacuum the carpets (I guess no budget room for a Dyson!).
  6. What's so funny? There is no god! [runs for cover]
  7. I'm sure you guys can get a jersey JUST like that one.
  8. I don't know where they get their numbers. According to http://www.finheaven.com/seasonal/salaries.php (Clumpy's Dols cap page), releasing both would save $9.31M. That's not bad, but they'd still need to clear another ~$8M.
  9. And a fun family... http://www.nbc6.net/sports/3473918/detail.html That's right! Forget him.
  10. A conditional pick usually has a base value assigned to it. In Henry's case, it could be a 3rd rounder that conditionally becomes anywhere from a 2nd to 2-1st rounders (as the Dolphins ended up giving up for RW) based on yardage.
  11. He's not lying. He said they're trying to help Travis, but they won't do it at the expense of the team. Had he said "we're going to do whatever Travis wants," it would be a different story.
  12. The best headline was "Brady getting 'caddy' with GM."
  13. No the alternates are selected as 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. So they go down the list. He doesn't get to choose. As for having 3 Pro Bowl OL, that would be nice, but that's also a lot of money. Look at the Pats. They don't have any Pro Bowlers, are a great O-line, and outside of Light the players don't make a lot of money. Give me that, JMac!
  14. Very nice. Thanks. But no internet, which I guess is good in a way.
  15. Yeah he applied to Wannstedt for the job of QB coach, but probably would have taken anything. If he gets a job with the Dols, what does that say about them? I guess time will tell.
  16. The cup actually costs more than the syrup. At least it did when I used to deliver pizzas and the owner told us we could drink all the soda we wanted, but had to use reusable plastic mugs (that he got for free).
  17. Well, with a name like "Boobie...."
  18. I have a feeling the owners aren't going to budge when it comes to salary cap. And they shouldn't.
  19. Uh, that was sarcasm. I agree 100% that no matter WHO the QB, the Bills need a better O-line, especially with JP and his trick leg. And they also need a TE since Euhus and Campbell will likely be out of commision for awhile.
  20. udonkey: Ask yourself honestly if this is something that YOU and your potential business partners would use? I mean HONESTLY answer the question, not say what you think you would do since you're planning on making a business out of it. That will give you your answer and what you should do. Actually take it a step further and poll some guys, especially any future best men you might know.
  21. Probably, but the Iggles have a better chance (FWIW) with TO playing.
  22. The O-line is great! Bledsoe just sucks. Didn't you know that?
  23. No salary cap=no NHL. It's that simple.
  24. If TO wants to play, let him. It shows character to risk further injury in order to try and help your team win, unlike John Abraham (although TO got paid and paid well). Even if as a decoy, TO will have value in the game.
