  1. Actually Bill Parcells said that in his post-SB press conference, so that's probably where Jimbo got it from, or how he felt bold enough to say it. I remember it vividly because I agreed totally with him. But unfortunately they only got 1 shot. And I was right that the Giants wouldn't even make the playoffs the next year. Small consolation.
  2. I think it says: "This is not fake" "Run through Flash to see frame-by-frame" "Cynical beyotches!" "A Selection François Ravaillac" Or something like that.
  3. She goes through.
  4. I wonder what happened? http://www.chicagobears.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=6495
  5. It doesn't look fake. And I agree about her holding the back of her head like she hit it on the rim.
  6. Who in their right mind didn't know that?
  7. Answer: I don't give a flying fig. I think the SB would be a great boon for the Buffalo area. But corporate and media wimps need to have nice weather.
  8. They should have both, again like the NFL does (to a certain degree).
  9. Hey, anything's possible. And that's the frightening thing here. Hell let him become a politician for Mass or Cali. I don't live, and don't plan on living, in either state ever.
  10. I agree that no matter WHAT the revenues are, the players should get a pre-set and fixed percentage regardless. Again base it on the NFL model. And the NFL allocates ~67% of revenues for the cap.
  11. Is the proposed NHL cap based on a percentage of gross revenue like the NFL's cap is? And the minimum cap is a good thing for players because it prevents most of the teams from getting cheap.
  12. The examples were computers and TV's. Hell include ALL electronics if you wish. Cars are a different story. When any electronic good comes out, it's at the highest it will ever be price-wise. After even just a few months the price comes down significantly, because more competition comes out and newer technology is ready to come out and supplant it. Microsoft HAS no real competition, and if you want to talk about "equivalent" and not the proper term of "more advanced," Windows XP is about 3X more expensive than Windows '98 was. But again, take a look at TV prices in your local paper over the next few weeks and see the same TV come down in price. It's an easy concept.
  13. The innovation to make PC's easier to use came from Apple's Macintosh computer back in the early 80's. Gates tricked Steven Jobs into giving him the source code for the "Windows" concept, and developed his own OS using it. Since that was Apple's shtick and because Korea was churning out cheap IBM PC clones, Windows took off and Apple took a nosedive when people realized it was cheaper to get a clone and the software than a name brand like Apple. A TV today having an "equivalent" form 8 years ago is like saying the wheel is "equivalent" to a Mercedes. Hell if you look at that 36" Sony and compare it to its price when it first came out, it's probably $3000 cheaper now.
  14. First of all, lets' see if the paternity test says it's his kid. Second of all, if it is, let's see if he supports the kid. If it's his and he doesn't, he's a deadbeat.
  15. I heard about this on Stern this morning. Apparently orthodox Jews adhere strictly to using the mouth to draw blood from the circumcision site. Archaic!
  16. Next time don't get the plasma screen.
  17. You apparently don't know the difference between hardware technology and software technology. Microsoft's software is designed to meet the changing needs of technology for the most part, not the other way around.
  18. And whose crew thought that Vinny T's head was the football and called a late TD to give the Jets a win over the Seahawks back in 1998. How that guy still has a job is anyone's guess. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  19. If he invented the iPOD, it could have been 35,000,000,000.00. Sucka!
  20. True too. When the no-huddle was clicking, Thurman stayed in all the time because he was a fine WR, and teams didn't know WHAT was coming.
  21. Serves Gates right for stealing the Windows idea from Apple (who stole it from Xerox).
  22. Bingo! Buy that man a ceeegar!
  23. Did you eat paint chips as a kid?
