  1. But being 2nd best in the entire league at what he does doesn’t disqualify him from being a generational talent. Remember, he’s done something in his first four years that no other player in the history of the league has done. I do agree Moss was the best. Would you consider Calvin Johnson to be a generational talent?
  2. There can be multiple generational talents playing at once, you know. When Randy Moss was in the league, so was Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, & Terrell Owens. Those guys are on a tier by themselves, first ballot hall of famers. And then you have the rest of the players in the league.
  3. He’s also the only player to have 12+ sacks in his first 4 years if I remember correctly. Just because we didn’t get him doesn’t make him less of a player, the guy is absolutely disruptive. Never mind the amount of plays he affects that don’t even make the stat sheet. He’s on a first ballot hall of fame trajectory.
  4. You can call anyone who’s on a path to being a first ballot hall of famer a generational talent. There aren’t many men that athletic with the production to match. Parsons is absolutely a generational talent.
  5. Love the deal and would’ve done the same with Oliver, but don’t love the money.
  6. Just now realized we have a stranglehold on this name: Jordan Hancock Jordan Poyer Jordan Phillips
  7. Was just coming here to say the same. Better than the ketchup bottle unis.
  8. Wish his mother was around to watch him get drafted. Sad. But a piece like this had much more emotion and drama than Hard Knocks and it was half an hour shorter.
  9. This bears out when comparing the Bills regular season defensive performance and postseason performance. Night and day.
  10. Sounds like a sprained ankle. Gotta draw our own conclusions since the Bills aren’t sharing.
  11. Chiefs skill positions had a rash of injuries.
  12. Some of those names mentioned above that said they were signing didn’t make it to the PS. Also surprised no team claimed Chris “Pooh” Paul Jr or Malachi Corley.
  13. I think Mahomes in “gotta have it” moments makes the correct play more often than not, more than any other QB in the league. Allen is the bigger dual threat, but if you told me one of the two went 39/48 for 512 yards and 4 TDs, I would assume it’s Mahomes. He’s a better high volume passer and has proven it when throwing to JAGs.
  14. So the rumors were it was initially a 10 game suspension and Rice opted to let the courts decide. Now they’ve negotiated down to 6 games and the Sept 30th court date is no more as I understand it.
  15. I remember when Sean McVay and the Rams GM saw the Cole Strange pick live during their press conference and started laughing. Chiefs are crying about their safeties too. Guess we’ve got that in common with them.
  16. Thought it started out strong, but just glorified the preseason game for the last third of the show. I’d much prefer to be in that room with Beane and the other coaches as they were going over players, but they weren’t gonna give us anything juicy on camera. Even when we got semi-criticism for Davidson’s blocking skills, Beane quickly followed with “but he knows that.”
  17. It is kind of odd that SVPG has missed months of practice on the PUP list and all of a sudden becomes available shortly before cuts?
  18. He should be, but I don’t think he’s ever cross trained at MLB/signal caller, aside from his rookie year.
  19. They didn’t ask AJ to lose 40 pounds, that was his doing. When he showed up to camp the team was surprised. Said when he reinvented himself his metabolism sped up to the point where it was difficult to keep weight on. I don’t know if AJ ever shared what weight the Bills wanted him at, but he has talked about losing more than he should have. My guess is they wanted him in the 260 range and he showed up 243. EDIT: @Lafromboise there’s nothing to disagree with here. The article is out there featuring AJ himself, telling it like it happened.
  20. If you do reach out to Joe, tell him it’s pronounced O-gun-jobi, not Ah-gun-jobi. Guy continues to mispronounce his name.
  21. I’d like to see them move off the Curtis Samuel contract. Moore can bring what he does to the table and stay healthy doing it.
  22. OL Dan Feeney
  23. He’s small and slow. People will always want upgrades on those attributes - especially speed.
  24. I said it earlier - we had to keep an eye on which LB the Rams cut. They were deep. I read reports that Paul was impressive in camp too, so it’s a bit surprising. Makes it all the more impressive that Dolac beat him out. Too bad he’s not LB4 or 5 in Buffalo.
  25. By most accounts White had shown better in camp than Trubisky, but in games it was a wash at best. If he was going to take Trubisky’s job, he had to clearly out play him and although it was a bit unfair he never got time with the 1st string OL (as Mitch did in game 1), White still missed on plays that were there to be made. Can’t do that if you’re trying to take the incumbent’s job. Gotta hit on those passes.
