  1. Would love to know the number of injuries per football field. I’d bet Detroit ranks highly on that list.
  2. Nantz not so secretly roots for the Bills, something about Bills fans being the only ones in the NFL who sent him gifts after a loved one passed. He’s okay by me.
  3. Glad Caleb can walk after that Campbell hit
  4. I used to think Edmunds was a “good” player, mostly due to his measurables, but couldn’t argue if someone wanted to label him “average.” I think he’s closer to average than good now, despite the contract he signed with the Bears.
  5. Lions LOVE to blitz, I see.
  6. Bears are supposed to have a good defense…
  7. Yeah, if the Bills run dime, one of Milano or Bernard will have to come off to field 6 DBs. Unless Babich shows innovation and lines up a 3-2-6 package. He was doing that a bit at the end of the KC game using Dorian as the spy. This is most likely the way.
  8. People were asking how much Milano eats into Dorian’s PT, but I think a more interesting question is, once Milano gets his football endurance back and reps and proves to be a playmaker again, which LB stays on the field in dime packages? Him or Bernard?
  9. I think there’s 3 teams in the AFC that could represent the conference in the SB. Bills, Chiefs, Ravens. I don’t see any others as having a realistic chance.
  10. I forgot Joey Bosa was playing.
  11. Disregarding all the hardware one guy has, this is exactly how I see it. I would add Mahomes also has a little bit more of a clutch “Jordan” gene to him.
  12. In regards to KC fans, the Bills were damned if they won the game and damned if they lost. Either way we weren’t going to rid ourselves of the trolls.
  13. Omenihu is also coming off a torn ACL and it typically takes players a whole season of playing before they’re back to feeling how they were.
  14. The CLE CB Newsome was over there with his helmet off. Probably involved him.
  15. Love Pickens as player, but he’s too volatile. He’s the type of player I’d look to trade for a bounty rather than have to pay him one.
  16. Glad they didn’t call it, let them play.
  17. Didn’t look like Jeudy was touched.
  18. That was rough from an officiating standpoint.
  19. Really hate these “body weight” personal fouls. I’ve seen players hurt themselves to avoid landing with their body weight and the refs still flag them.
  20. These AFCN teams are weird. Literally any of them can beat another on any given day, doesn’t matter if it’s a last place squad versus the division leader (although there are trends: BAL struggles to beat PIT, CIN struggles to beat BAL, etc). Theres not a ton that separates them, you only see what they’re about when they play the rest of the NFL.
  21. My vote would’ve been New Mexico. Albuquerque has a big meth problem. I believe it’s where Breaking Bad was staged.
  22. Don’t get me wrong, Knox, like Davis, had some great moments/games, but over a larger sample size mistakes seemed to shadow him. And yes, Knox had a hand issue if I remember correctly.
  23. When Knox had a bigger receiving workload, incompletions, clumsiness, and INTs kinda followed him around the same way they did Gabe Davis, but when the connection works it’s great.
  24. I also think it’s possible the team had a collectively bad game. I said at the time the defensive and offensive game plans were wrong. You don’t defend a heavy rushing team by giving them a light box 60% of the time, nor do you play small ball against a defense that was known for giving up chunk plays. They also confused our OL for much of the game which was just as bad. It was a collective team failure, not in any way indicative of how much better BAL is than BUF. If they played again I don’t think BUF loses by 4+ scores.
  25. Bernard isn’t the best run defender or tackler, but I’m not sure there’s a better pure coverage linebacker in the league. Also blitzes really well due to his body control and agility. He’s everything we wanted Edmunds to be, in a much smaller frame.
