74 consecutive FGs under 50 yds for Tucker until that miss. Wow. Including the D Henry improbable fumble, these are some amazing BAL statistics going down today. -

Hope Araiza has a busy game, though I doubt it. At least in our bugaboo first half. -

Yep, push BAL to the #5 seed. If PIT can win that division and KC does finish with the 1 seed, Buffalo wouldn’t face both KC and BAL in the playoffs unless a 6th or 7th seed upsets the 2 or 3. -

D Henry first lost fumble in 538 touches? Wow. -
Sans Allen, who are the untouchable players moving forward?

If he retired today, I do believe Allen is accepted into the HoF, but maybe not first ballot. -

I think he’s definitely a tier or two above those guys, but I don’t like the $25M/yr AAV I’m hearing. Like you said, unless he starts getting good QBs on the ground, he’s a trade-able asset. -
Week 11 - Chiefs at Bills Game Week Thread

It’s not weird when you understand his motivation. Nick likes being right. Before the year most of the prognosticators said Buffalo was done, that they wouldn’t win the AFCE or even make the playoffs. Nick said for years the Bills were being overrated, but this year they were underrated and would win the AFCE again. Now that the season is playing out and what he said has proven to be true, he champions the Bills as his horse because all others said otherwise. He likes being in the position to say “I was right and you were wrong.” -
Week 11 - Chiefs at Bills Game Week Thread

Not looking forward to the Bills defense sitting back in a soft shell cover 2 and allowing Mahomes to dink and dunk his way down the field. Challenge their receivers! Bring heat every once in a while and get him on the ground. -
Also missed Kincaid streaking down the field on a huge play against Houston. If Josh hits those two passes, the narrative is different. I’d put Kincaid’s lack of production more on Allen than Joe Brady. Those two missed plays aren’t the only times Kincaid has been open and the ball hasn’t found him for whatever reason.
-
Bishop is also supposedly a great blitzer and covers TEs well, which further solidifies he’s an in-the-box SS. We need a rangy FS with instincts and ball skills. Better angles and a quicker trigger from Hamlin would’ve meant 7-8 yard stops on both the Henry and Taylor big runs. Haven’t rewatched the Breece Hall run to see if it was the same case there, but from memory Hamlin got caught up in the wash inside.
-
I’d love to see a ranking on QB accuracy on throws that go for more than 40 air yards, because it feels to me that Josh is in the bottom third of the league. If that was a strong suit of his game he really would be the ultimate cheat code. Kincaid actually got injured on the wide open pass he had to dive for.
-
I believe in the Bills more to not finish behind KC, the Texans AND Ravens or Steelers. Basically rooting for PIT to keep winning solidifies my belief we’ll be no lower than 3.
-
I’m rooting for PIT. If they continue winning either the Steelers or Ravens will be the #5 seed giving KC a tougher matchup should they get the 1.

11/10/24 Game 10 GAMEDAY! Bills at Colts 2nd Half Game Thread

Would like to see the 2nd rounder Cole Bishop start getting snaps on D. Hamlin is not a long term starter, nor is he a dependable safety net, so what are we doing there? -
Why don’t we run any jet sweeps anymore? With Samuel’s RB background you’d figure he’d be a perfect fit. As it stands, he’s another bust of a signing.
-
I swear I didn’t see this before sharing my opinion 😅

You guys who are saying the Dolphins not going for 2 was a bad call, I disagree. If you fail to make the conversion, there’s a higher probability you lose. If you make the conversion to take a 1 point lead, the Bills will now have 4 downs to get into FG range. If you tie the score, there’s a good chance the Bills will punt on a 4th down, or play less aggressively. If I was McDaniel, with that much time left on the clock, I too would’ve kicked to tie.
-
I’ve long said that Oliver deserved the contract extension and would’ve been the player I paid if it came down to him or Edmunds, but he needs to step his game up. He’s been far too invisible, both he and Jones. When Ankou and the rookie Carter flash more with less reps, you know there’s a problem.
-
I like Elam starting at CB more than I like Hamlin starting at FS. Also, let’s be glad no one took Beane’s calls to trade up for Cole Bishop in the 2nd, because there’s a good chance Ray Davis wouldn’t be on this team.
-
Couldn’t stop the run, couldn’t stop the pass. Dolphins did pretty much what they wanted to at will. Other than that, the defense was okay.

Yeah that’s the part that gets me. Even if a certain person is targeted and subconsciously influenced to say a specific thing, they’ve still gotta say it. Never have I seen a mentalist stuck with an answer they weren’t expecting.
-
The way it was explained to me, was that the answers to the questions are planted throughout their environment, everywhere, the people can’t help but to see them over and over, but they don’t realize what they’re seeing. When the mentalist asks the questions, the people give an answer that reflects what they’ve been subconsciously seeing. The biggest hurdle I see in that is that the person still has to say what you expect him/her to say and I’ve never seen it fail. They’ve never deviated from the answer the mentalist needs, so that’s the weird part.

Chiefs have looked like an average team most of the year, but they’ve still got Ws against the Ravens, Bengals, and 49ers that add to their 7-0 record. I don’t see them losing more than 2 games the rest of the way, no matter how flawed or injured they are. As long as Mahomes and Chris Jones remain healthy, 15-2 is their floor. We will likely finish as the 2 or 3 seed, which also means we’ll have to go through both BAL and KC to reach the SB.
