  1. Anybody that still thinks Trentative is a starting QB in the NFL has mental issues. THROW THE BALL PAST THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE!!!
  2. There will probably be a few links that will be posted as game time nears...
  3. I liked Losman and didnt think that everything that occured on the field was his fault (unlike MANY here have clinged to), but he didnt do himself any favors with making bone head plays at inopportune times. I think, by far, those plays have been JP's biggest detriment as an NFL QB... What I DONT understand, is how some people here can continue to back Trent Edwards, despite the fact that he cowers at any sign of pressure. Against winning teams, he has shown time and time again that he doesn't have what it takes to be an NFL starting QB, yet many of his supporters here place blame everywhere else (Oline, coaching, receivers, the sun in his eyes). Trentative Edwards SUCKS, it's time to admit that as a group and move on...
  4. I'm neither pro this guy or pro that guy.. I think they've both been mishandled by the coaching staff - JP in particular when considering Mularkey's in/out as the starter. If I had to choose between two QBs that equally can't seem to get the job done, regardless of the reason, I'm choosing the QB that looks down the field and throws bombs. If you're gonna fail, fail big. It was DISGUSTING to see Trent throw a 2 yard pass on 4th and 23 and a 3 yard pass on 4th and 18 in subsequent games. Through my research of Trent and realizing that he never once was overly successful in college, coupled with the fact that he averaged 155 yds/game passing in college, makes me desire JP Losman moreso than Trent. Trent will NEVER be an aggressive playmaking QB. However much you hate him, Losman at times, was just that...
  5. If there is somehow you could get a candid interview with former OC Turk Schonert, I would love to hear more about his take on Dick Jauron's pop-gun offense. But most importantly, I would love to hear how he views Trent Edwards. As a former employee of the Bills, he would be at liberty to discuss, in depth, his true feelings regarding the QB position. As someone who has worked closely with Trent over the years, I feel there is no one better equipped to give an honest, overall evaluation of Trent Edwards, from a coaches perspective. I am not sure that he would be opposed to the interview (blaming Jauron right after he was fired) and would allow him to state his case. Please make this interview happen, inquiring minds would like to know... Thank you, Signed, The Entire Buffalo Nation
  6. Lee Evans doesn't throw to Lee Evans. Give him a real QB and see what he does...
  7. Hello all, I have written a great comedic script and will be directing, producing, and starring in my own SAG Short Film. I plan to create it sometime next year, when the birds start chirping, the snow has melted, and when I have the requisite funds to meet the $8000 budget. The goal? To make noise at Film Festivals of course! My question is: are there any of you who have made a film (short or feature)? What are some of the obstacles or pitfalls that you've faced? Obviously since I am seeking advice, I am a first time filmmaker, but will be surrounding myself with an experienced crew. Also, is it possible to find financial contributors for a Short Film, where the intent of the film is not to make a monetary gain? If any of you out there know anyone with money to spare and would like to serve as an Executive Producer upon having interest in the script, let me know that too! I need all the help I can get!! Thanks for anything you can provide...
  8. Yep Alpha... After you told me that he passed for 300 yards in only ONE game in college, I was in disbelief and decided to research him myself. When I compared the numbers, I was amazed. No progression what so ever. I have to believe that he threw down the field often in HS to compile the stats that he had, but that Stanford's OLine took away his chance to develop even further. He is and will always be now, a checkdown, slow decision making QB. With intensive coaching he may be able to salvage something, but for all intent and purposes, he's done...
  9. Forgot to mention, his best year was 2005 (a Junior). In this year he went 5-6, had 17 TDs and 7 Ints, connected on 62.7% of his passes, had his only 300 yard game, averaged 175.8 yds/game, was sacked 30 times, and only surpassed 200 yds passing in 4 of the games. This is the guy we had hoped to be the savior part deux? He SUCKED at the COLLEGIATE LEVEL in his BEST season!! KFFL Article - Trent Edwards

Checkdowns instead of hitting WRs, no pocket awareness/movement, isn't used to winning/wanting the ball in his hands with the game on the line. In high school he had unreal numbers. Stanford may have ruined his development. He is what he is now and it's time to move on...
  11. Of course they wouldn't be better. You still have Trentative "I only passed for 300 yards once on the collegiate level" Edwards as QB. And to hear that he was smiling ear to ear after the game??? Disgusting
  12. If he does come here, I hope he leaves the West Coast offense behind. I get tired of hearing how it takes a QB 3 years to learn the system completely...
  13. Dont think it would matter much if we had Manningham. Mario is no T.O., yet T.O.'s reception streak ended last Sunday at 185 games. If Mario was here, you would be calling him the bust b/c he would have limited opportunities/catches. Given the choice, I would replace Edwards with Manning and keep Hardy right where he is at. Perhaps then he wouldn't come across as a bust...
  14. No idea why Hardy is struggling? Hmmm... It wouldn't have anything to do with the one who is throwing him the ball would it? I remember reading posts last year that Hardy would be streaking down field, with his man beat, and the ball would never go his way. There is a reason why Owen's 185 game reception streak ended last Sunday: Edwards prefers throwing to TE's and RBs. It's possible if Hardy had another QB besides the current one, he would already have had some sort of an impact in the NFL...
  15. If I remember correctly, Losman had a few 300 yd games...
  16. That stat is disgusting and should easily be accomplished with the personnel we have on the field. Someone is not gettin it done...
  17. Yeah me too. RIP Chad Pennington, you will surely be.. Uh. Oh. My fault. We were all speaking of him as if he had passed away. Well let me give my favorite Chad Pennington moment ever: juking Buffalo Bills OLB Eddie Robinson out of his jock strap to run into the endzone. Get Well Chad!!
  18. There... Now that looks about right
  19. As some who went to the game have pointed out, TO/Evans were running around open at times downfield, but Trent never looked in their direction. He was too transfixed on the TE/RB 3 yard patterns... I remember first seeing this in the CLE game last year. After a play action, Trent NEVER looked anywhere other than the TE. Result was a 1 yard pass...
  20. Says nothing about him playing against NO. Just an article that has been put out there in the wake of losing Schouman. Nelson is listed as doubtful at the moment...
  21. I'm actually surprised that NE* is starting to have penalties called against them! The times are indeed changing my friends, lets just hope that the Jets aren't the next team up in the East...
  22. I wouldn't call Marshawn Lynch a missed pick. The Whitner pick still stings though...
  23. But I will say this... We are the only team in the league to have had over 100 attempts against us (103). The next closest is New Orleans with 89. You would think that we would be able to pin our ears back and get more sacks though...
  24. Because our defensive scheme sucks. I don't recall the Patriots being next to last in the league in pass defense the year they were putting 40+ points up on opposing teams every game... In fact, they were ranked 6th in the league, had about 3 sacks per game, and gave up 193.4 yds/game through the air. Fewell blows!!
