I just couldn’t see how Manti held an online relationship with this person for 3 years and not once could “Lennay” FaceTime with him. 3 months of dodging person to person talks, sure, but 3 years??

I realized that when he contacted 66 different massage therapists in a span of 17 months. He is entitled to help and a chance to reform, so that’s why I’m not in the camp of banning him from the NFL for life (yet) or killing him as others suggested.

Booth was a hugely popular pick on these boards during the draft. Did he run more man or zone at Clemson? It’s interesting the Bills didn’t have a first round grade on him, but that could’ve been due to his injury history.

If so, then this won’t be the last time his name is in the news for sexual deviancy. And at that point, if his new action still doesn’t amount to what is perceived as a crime, after the blowback from this situation, the counseling, and the fines from his prior transgressions, I suspect he’ll get the lifetime ban. EDIT: And Haslam is lying through his teeth. No way he makes that trade again (at least for the same compensation) given all that he knows now.

Not sure, as I’ve never had therapy or know the outcome of most cases, but the league assigned it so they must believe it works. Maybe those who got counseling for some mental health issue can speak to this better. EDIT: the fact that Watson STILL sees no wrongdoing on his part is his biggest hurdle. Could counseling give him that perspective he lacks? If he doesn’t appear in the news again for a related charge we might have our answer.

This is why I’d prefer the fine to be a percentage of his total salary, but I guess there’s no precedence for that.

Who compared this to a flu? It’s a mental illness, similar to the guy who runs around flashing people behind a trench coat. That’s what my “sickness” term referred to.

That’s a big problem for him, but hopefully one that gets rectified through therapy. Sounds like he lacks self reflection.

So a sexual deviant should be killed? Watson clearly has a sickness that needs to be addressed, but wishing he’d die is pretty over the top. If he was found guilty of a crime then he’d be behind bars, not returning to the field in 11 weeks.

One thing is for sure… if a guy proves he can play CB at a relatively high level, you don’t move him to safety. Good CBs are in high demand.

A lifetime ban for predatory sexual behavior of a non-violent kind? I don’t know if that’d be fair. I agree with the counseling and the suspension, though the fine could definitely be more given his salary.

Every time I see those Bills highlight videos, it’s #30 Dane Jackson getting beat deep, but Frazier said he’s ahead of both rookies. With that said, if both rookies continue to ball, I wouldn’t be surprised to see both Elam and Benford starting against the Rams, with Jackson rotating in situationally.

Do any of you have kids who watch his videos? I had never heard of him prior to sending in an audition video but he has built quite the following. I played the vet in his latest video: For those who don’t know, Dhar Mann makes inspirational stories intended for kids. Many of his videos are cringey, or lack logic, but he seems to embrace that fact and even pokes fun at it at times. The worst offender was a courtroom story where a man was convicted of a crime in Philadelphia, but was in LA at the time and had never been to Philly. Nevertheless he was found guilty 😂 It’s all in good fun, the positive message is the takeaway.

I see what you did there. But if Ed O balls out like Aaron Donald lite, then you absolutely have to find a way to extend him. Those sort of interior disrupters are hard to find and Ed isn’t a fat slob that would be content to eat his way through his lucrative contract ala Haynesworth/Dareus.

What is a “return to form” for Edmunds? The only year he’s been a playmaker in this defense was his rookie year. I thought so much more of him as a player at the time, I’m actually surprised he hasn’t become more of a difference maker in the years since. Now he’s being categorized here as a “space eater” and “it’s too difficult for him to make big plays because he has too many responsibilities.” Oh and “he’s only twenty something, he’s still so young.” At some point the excuses have to stop. He needs to become a disruptor to justify making anything more than what Milano earns. 0:13 second mark, chasing down Jamison Crowder, weak tackle attempt leads to shoulder injury. Jogging after Tyreek Hill in the AFCCG, misses the tackle. 14:52 Edmunds has Fournette dead to rights in the hole on 3rd and 1 in OT, but slinks off of him and allows the first down. Edmunds has a full head of steam on a blitz attempt and gets absolutely stoned by the RB. 02:45 Edmunds has Kelce in coverage and bites hard to the inside, despite help from teammate Taron Johnson. Kelce scores a TD. Just some of the mind-numbingly frustrating plays I’ve seen over the years.

This post is a bit like a Time Machine. 2015 seems so far in the past, but it’s only been 7 years. Turnover in the NFL is astronomical, teams change so much year to year.

If they cut Hodgins he’ll probably be a NY Giant the same day.

I believed in Hodgins more than most, only because the early reports of him and Gabe Davis were so favorable their rookie years. Obviously those two receivers have gad much different careers up until this point, but I thought if Hodgins stayed healthy, he’d eventually make noise. Just last year McD said something to the effect of “he’s really positioning himself for a move.” Glad to see he balled out today and earned the respect of some naysayers. Also, do any of you remember Moorman’s 84 yard punt against the Packers I believe it was? His ball did roll more than Araiza’s, but it was also really impressive.

The players can’t sign those dangling items, otherwise the next time they walk through a tunnel they’ll have to pass through a curtain of items from everyone else copying the tactic.

According to one fantasy site monitoring this stuff. Has anyone heard about any other players not on this list? Good or bad? I mentioned in another thread that Daniel Jones is looking god awful under Daboll, with most expecting Tyrod Taylor to eventually supplant him.
