  1. You mean the same parcells who built the trenches for a now floundering Miami team while Atlanta smartly took Matt Ryan and are now the best team in their conference? Parcells will get you no further than 9-7.
  2. Want black QBs to be better, Jamele? Tell them to actually learn to read a defense or throw with some accuracy and stop just taking off and running when their primary WR is convered. That type of BS "quarterbacking" works in college, but not in pro ball. In the NFL, you can't simply rely on superior athleticism. You need to actually be an honest-to-goodness QB.
  3. The indented helmets are the "Revolution" style that are supposed to help cut down on concussions due to their design. As for your strange attraction to Jay Cutler, I hear he likes daisies.
  4. I'm confused. Typically the fans that carry the firepower are the ones happy to see Bristol Palin advance. This article would make more sense if the guy ran over his TV with a Prius while screaming incoherencies about global warming.
  5. I loathe Jimmie Johnson, but he's not cheating. The guy's simply a hell of a racecar driver. But, he (smartly) plays for the chase all season. He screws off and is good enoguh to make the chase, and then turns it on on his bread and butter tracks. If there was more variance as there should be, Johnson would have won a championship or 2, but not 5 in a row.
  6. Winning teams are going to attract more free agents. Not saying we're going to sign the top tier, but those middle tier guys will look more to Buffalo if we are winning than to other losing teams.
  7. Free Authentic "NBA locker room series" unregistered handgun with any $100 purchase. Good stuff!
  8. Now, we just need to teach college age girls around the country how to do the "Richard Seymour" to rapelisberger and there wont be any more problems.
  9. So you are saying thayt we should expect the Lions to have about a 10-12 year run where they are in every super bowl? Given the amount of high picks they've had, that must be the future outcome for them (given your lahjik)
  10. You could say the same thing about Jabari Greer and Fred Jackson.
  11. When your first grade kid comes home with a 100 on a math test, do you tell him not to get carried away because its only single digit addition?
  12. Stevie has demonstrated this season that he has that intangible knack for getting open. The guy isn't the fastest WR in the world, but he's been great at getting separation. Something that is HUGE, and all the greats can do it.
  13. With the way the Bills hung in and won this week, Billsvet is probably going to stay under his rock all week long. He won't slither out until after our next loss to tell us how right he is that the Bills suck.
  14. This team is much more effective with Josh Reed than Steve Johnson. [/dick jauron] I hate that asshat more and more everyday.
  15. The biggest problem with the chase is that 7 or 8 of the 10 races are at the cookie cutter 1.5 mile tracks which are Johnson's bread and butter. If they varied the chase races, Johnson wouldn't have won 5 straight.
  16. Given the odd circumstances, anyone who lives in the south knows that the most likely infraction Williams got pulled over for is DWB.
  17. I'd volunteer, but i'm a firm believer in less five myself.
  18. That is extreme squee.
  19. The Bills pro shop needs to sell a "fitz beard" we can all stick to our faces at home games. That thing is awesome.
  20. For what its worth, Nike did this last season and this season in college ball with about a dozen teams each year. FSU had all garnet jerseys with black helmets. It was a one game expo for the teams that wore them, and as far as i know, no teams have adopted them as anything other that the single game try-out.
  21. I'd actually say that Levitre is our best OL. He's developed rather nicely. I think Wood will be much improved next year (with a full offseason and TC on a healthy leg). Hangy has played well and Bell is coming along nicely too. RT is the only extreme immediate need, as well as adding some depth across the line (depending on how Howard, Wrotto, and Urbik come along). This would allow us to go QB and then OT/LB in rounds 2 and 3.
  22. Just yesterday i was thinking, "ya know, Buffalo doesn't have quite enough dog fighting to my liking. How can we improve on this?" And what do you know, this thread pops up with the perfect answer.
  23. To the rest of you, i'm not going to engage the monkey anymore. He's the same poster who was continually attacking Ponder all summer long leading up to the start of the college season. Continue with the PMs with more questions about Ponder, they're always welcome. Unfortunately, this, as with many other threads, is done due to the general asshattery of a specific poster who is more interested in tearing apart a player he's seen once or twice than he is in engaging any actual meaningful discussion.
  24. Awesome use of police resources!
