Good post. Even taking into account last year's situation, both incidents with Lynch can be explained away by simply being young and stupid. Toss in a whole mess of $, and that complicates the situation.

No, there are lots of us that feel this way. Its very tough to get excited about the upcoming season when you know that the most likely scenario will be the same as it has been in the past few years. In a lot of games at the end, but ending up with a 5-7 in the win column. The Bills aren't going to be lighting the fire of excitement (at least for me) anytime soon if all they do is bring in some 2nd tier FAs and rely on draft picks. Ralph whined that the team doesn't have the talent (cheap copout to keep jauron), so i say to ralph...if you think we dont have the talent, then fuggin do something about it and bring in some talent.

Big shock that the buffalo media is going after Lynch. He refused to talk to them for what, 6 months or something? The media acts like a bunch of 12 year old girls who didn't get invited to so-and-so's birthday party when an athlete wont give them what they want. They get all pissy throw a fit. The buffalo media has a huge axe to grind with Marshawn.

The Falcons tagged their punter, Michael Koenen, this offseason.

Parrish is perfectly suited to be a 4th WR and a punt returner. Its too bad our retarded OC can;t figure out a way to get the ball in the hands of such an explosive player. He doesn;t need ot catch 4-5 passes per game, but needs to see 4-5 touches on screens, reverses, etc. Our top 3 WRs need upgrading, not parrish. Oh wait, why throw a screen to parrish when we can throw one to robert royal.

Guy on Billszone claiming he works for the Bills...

This is precisely the reason why you should not mix family and business. -
prevents the kicker form leaving or testing the market. Its also very cheap. $2 mil is nothing.

Charlotte Staples Lewis, huh...sounds like C.S. Lewis, the creator of narnia. Could the island be charlotte's narnia? and this is from my girl on the topic... "more creepy narnia things. in "the white witch" book, the evil white witch tempts edmund with turkish delight, a chocolate dish. before charlotte died, she said "i'm not supposed to have chocolate for dinner." so...the island, or the white witch, tempted edmund to betray his family...same thing on lost. the island tempted her to come back. "

Never understood the parrish hate/trade parrish at all costs mentality. Sure the guy isn't a top notch WR, but he's a hell of a punt returner, leading the league the past 2 seasons. The guy averages 15 yards per return. That's an extra first down the offense gets before they even take the field. Frankly, whats the difference between a WR who catches 4-60 and parrish who returns 4 punts for 60 yards?

good episode (i finally got a chance to watch it). a thought is that maybe Faraday is Charlotte's father? He says he loves her and people assume its the romantic love. But perhaps its the fraternal love, and thats why Faraday cares for her so much. It would explain how she remembers him from the island, and perhaps, charlotte and her mom left Faraday on the island when they took off.

1, antoine winfield. I do find it interesting that you pick and choose your data to fit your crusade. Because i can tweak your parameters and i can show the Bills have only drafted 4 DBs in last 13 years in round 1, which is far from excessive. Probably right in line with the league average.

I go to the Bud Shootout every year, and concessions dont seem to be that outrageous. I've never seen them any higher than your average MLB/NFL game. Of course, no one actually buys from the concessions because you can bring in all the food and drink you can fit. As for the Race, i was pulling for Smoke and Hamlin. Fugg jr and his damn wreck. You know if Vickers had dumped Jr, Vickers would have been fined, suspended, and docked all of his points.

Tallahassee is a hell of a college town...but not much else besides that. I'd recommend either Orlando or Tampa for the best job opportunities. I know you said you were in a serious relationship, so isn't your relocation going to be determined by which team drafts Chase Coffman?

The titans have selected 4 first round DBs in the last 8 drafts. 3 of them are no longer with the team. There's a bit more to drafting and team success than simply, "dont take DBs." And what the Bills did in the early 90's has no bearing on today's team. That team drafted 1st round DBs because they needed good DBs. The Wade Phillips teams had good defenses, but needed good DBs. That's why we drafted them.

Tank Johnson got suspended 8 games for having 6 illegal assault weapons. No way Marshawn gets more than 4. I'll bet he won't get suspended at all. Last year's incident wasn't anything more than a blip on the radar of the league office.

True, but they've yet to directly link any stolen mattress tag to edwards. The tags keep coming up clean of fingerprints due to Edwards' glove wearing.

Ads to continue to be more graphic and adult oriented

Ever stop to think that the only reason this is a problem is because the american society has decreed sex as this big taboo topic? Boobs are boobs. Big f'in deal. If our society wasn't so anal retentive about something so harmless as seeing a nipple, this wouldn't be a problem. What causes the bigger problem? A billboard or ad with scantily clad women that an 8 year old sees and no one says a second word, or the same billboard where the parents freak out and try to block the 8 year old from seeing it and make a huge stink about it? An 8 year old seeing a nipple or boobs isn't a problem. Anal-retentive overbearing over protective parents are the problem. -

I dont care how solid the Dash 8 is. Any turboprop is a POS to fly on during any type of non-perfect weather. I'll double check my flights when i know the weather will be bad to make sure one of the legs isn't on a fuggin turboprop. Those are also the beliefs of my old man who was a mechanic for USAirways for 13 years. The general sentiment throughout the airline was that turboprops are sh-- during any kind of inclement weather. -
While not a top 5 all time QB, i always thought Fran Tarkenton deserves to be ranked fairly high on any "all-time great QB" list.
