  1. I wish the Bills had a TE that "sucks" so bad he can catch 80 passes and gain 1,000 yards.
  2. One major hole i see in the theory is that there was a trading moratorium until friday at 12:01am. Teams can agree in principle on a trade before then (like the Vikes and Rosenfels). But, if the Bills owed Dockery $ at the 4pm thursday deadline, there's no way they could have traded him before then.
  3. I'm quickly losing count for seats on the "road trip"
  4. Something is really fishy about the article. It says that we didn't file the paperwork to waive him and were exploring a trade. Then it says we didn't get the paperwork in on a trade and he was officially released on friday. Dockery wasn't a pending FA, so he's the bills property until released or traded. If we didn't waive him and didn't file the paperwork for a trade, how did he become a free agent?
  5. I think you mean WHEN he has to start 2-3 (or more) games per season.
  6. Mark this date: 2/27/09 - Ramius agrees with Dawgg.
  7. Russ knew it would piss you off. Thats how he rolls.
  8. I'm not sure whats worse, her or Randy and his, "Yo...dawgg...i mean..like that was...yo...for real...you sounded like someone from...i mean...it was crazy dawgg...yo...you definitely got the talent to...yo...for real dawgg."
  9. From what i have read, 1. teams will have 3 transition tags but still only 1 franchise tag 2. Players are RFAs until they hit 6 years of service...this even goes for 4 year players who were UFAs this season...they would revert back to RFA status 3. Vet raises are capped 4. Playoff teams cannot sign as many FAs as non-playoff teams
  10. Got a 4th for the car ride, Ray.
  11. Alex Flanagan > Lindsay Soto
  12. I agree with you. I mean, i can't believe free agency ends today and we haven't signed anyone yet!
  13. Of course, this post completely ignores the fact that Caolina let Hangartner go because they couldn't afford to keep him and stay under the cap. They are 1.9 million under the cap currently, and were over until the league bumped it up by 4 mil yesterday.
  14. Yup. There are so many unfavorable conditions form a player's perspective tied to the uncapped year that there will be a new deal in place. And while not explicitly stating it, lots of teams do not spend $ over the given cap in any year. They were discussing this on the NFL network the other day.
  15. It all depends on how the Bills calculate "cash to cap." None of us really know much how it is calculated, except for the fact that we will never spend over the cap in terms of actual cash in 1 given year. The cap is 127 million this year, so the Bills won't spend over 127 million during 2009 when you combine base salaries, signing bonuses to new players, etc. Cutting dockery is a wash when it comes to cap space. But, in terms of real cold hard cash, its about $5 million (base salary plus bonus) that is now off the books for 2009. Whether or not Ralph will spend it is another story. The Bills need to spend a certain % of the cap space, per NFL rules. I believe it is 86%. Wha scares me slightly is that with dockery, ralph can still "spend" the dead cap space to get us to the lower limit, without actually spending anymore real $.
  16. He got let go because Carolina was over the cap until the $4 million gift from the NFL today. Even with the gift, they onyl have 1.9 mil of cap room. Teams can't keep everyone they want to.
  17. Total MILF. :w00t: But the dress she wore looked absolutely terrible.
  18. He was franchised last season. I believe he tore up his knee this past year. Yup, torn ACL and MCL in week 16. http://www.bengals.com/team/player.asp?player_id=40 Prior to the injury, he was a very good up and coming OL, with the ability to play either OT or OG.

  20. Don't you get it? Turk is really really smart. Smarter than all of us and smarter than anyone in the NFL. I know this because he said he watches 80 hours of film per week and he knew Bill Walsh. So whatTurk did was tell the rest of the NFL that we are scrapping the FB, so now all 31 teams think we aren't going to have a FB and have made plans to defend us based on that. Then, in a stroke of genius, Turk brings a FB back, thereby confusing the rest of the NFL. BRILLIANT!
  21. While kiper is overrated and overhyped, i'd trust twobillsdrive draft analysis before i would listen to that buttplug todd mcshay.
  22. I hope this means we're keeping the roll out pass to the fullback in the play book.
  23. No. Last night's episode was pretty boring. The best part was the final minute with Locke talking to the new guy. So apparently Ben isn't "special" or "chosen" anymore, or else he wouldn't have crashed along with the plane. Locke seems to know that the island is done with Ben. Funny too how Whidmore seems to be a good guy in all of this.
