  1. This should keep you safe.
  2. Jenkins gets cut...Roscoe's ability on STs is infinitely greater than jenkins ability on STs.
  3. Check my posting history jackass. I've been nothing but level about Brown and his strengths and weaknesses. I have nothing to gain by propping Brown up. Yes i am rooting for him hard and i want him to be successful, but that gives me no reason not be be completely straight about a guy i've watched play for 3 years. And since your reading comprehension seems to be lacking, i didn't say that Brown was going to be successful. I said there's no legit reason to think he can't be successful. I guess i should have expected less from a mongoloid who's draft analysis consists of saying, "deerrrr, uhhh, dont draft position X from school Y, its a sure bust!" Since you're so attuned to FSU, why don't you tell me how Jimbo is doing? Oh wait, lemme guess your response, "ZOMG! FSU wuz 9-4 last season. Jimbo is teh suxors!"
  4. I don't care what happened out there, some things should be taken to the grave. If i'm the only survivor and 3 of my friends did in fact give up hope, that's never getting out. I'd make us some BS story to feed to the press and families. Some secrets simply should never come out.
  5. There is no legit reason to think Brown wouldn't be successful as a 4-3 DE. He's got the speed and the moves to be a hell of a pass rusher. The onyl real knock on him is he needs to focus more on wrapping up in the backfield (especially on sacks). Too many times he went for the strip and let the QB escape his grasp. But that is something that can be corrected.
  6. KD is just an acronym for her real name, which is Katie in CT.
  7. Good Christ. If sneaking alcohol into an establishment/sporting event was a crime, most us us here would be locked away for life.
  8. I said he'll get 1 game max, and i still doubt he'll get suspended. Clayton isn't exactly a beacon of truth. Anything more than 2 games would be complete bull sh--, given the previous precedent set by Goodell.
  9. Interesting that you pick those 4. Wimbley and Wilson were both converted to LBs by their NFL coaching staff, not to mention that Wimbley did have 12 sacks in 2006 as a rookie. I'm not ready to write him off yet. Plus, switching a player from a 3 point stance DE to a stand up rush LB isn't as simple as many would have you believe. Wadsworth was hurt most of his short NFL career, so the actual bust label is unfair. You can't say how successful or unsuccessful he would have been. Reynolds is the only true bust out of that crowd. We'd be drafting Brown presumably as a DE, not an OLB, so there's no sense in comparing to other FSU DEs that were converted to LBs. FSU DE's don't "play without responsibility." Their responsibility is to get in the backfield and create havoc and break up plays, since we run an attacking defense designed to get to the ball carrier. They don't have the traditional role of stacking the line.
  10. Brown did have one more year of eligibility. In the draft sense, "underclassman" refers to players who have not completed their eligibility. With redshirts, early graduations, etc, "senior" in the football sense simply means they are in their 4th year of eligibility.
  11. Cincy - Aside from everette brown graduating early, Myron Rolle and current FSU QB Christian Ponder both graduated after 2.5 years. They still have all of their remaining eligibility, but must remain a student. So these guys enroll in a graduate program and continue taking classes while playing football.
  12. Dead on post. I don't condone anything Lynch did, but given the past precedent set by the NFL and Goodell, there's no reason for Lynch to end up with anything longer than 1 game. And even Marshall had 3 arrests prior to the single game suspension.
  13. Most likely there will be no suspension, but 1 game will be the max. How many players have been arrested for DUI's and such in the past year? Quite a few, and they aren't getting suspended. Goodell doesn't suspend for your first arrest. Look at the previous precedent set. Only 5 players have ever been suspended under the personal conduct policy. PacMan Jones Chris Henry Michael Vick Tank Johnson Brandon Marshall Lynch has done nothing even close to the level any of those guys have reached. He's had one single arrest, resulting in a misdemeanor. I can tell you one thing, lots of players have been arrested and nothing has happened to them. Hell, James Harrison beat the sh-- out of his girlfriend last offseason and nothing happened. Lynch walks with nothing.
  14. This will be lynch's first criminal offense. Last year he got off with a traffic violation, so while that may raise the eyebrows, it really doesn't count. Unless goodell wants to set the precedent that traffic violations will get you suspended. Goodell may have given him a talking to, but i dont think that was "strike one." This is strike one on marshawn, and Goodell usually doesn't hand out suspensions on strike one.
  15. When its all said and done after appeals and such, i'll be shocked if he's suspended for more than 1 game. I'm betting on no suspension.
  16. Hmmm. The other day rotoworld reported those numbers, but now they've pulled it form their website.
  17. You're on to something here. Proven NFL players usually drive much nicer cars than pre-draft rookies.
  18. Dude. We all have too much mutual respect for one another here to stoop to this level. Not cool.
  19. Mr Fancy pants masturbates to the altar boy's voice
  20. Sage can't actually read and has his little sister make his fantasy baseball picks for him.
  21. At 6'0 and 220 lbs, he'd be a good fit for our LB corps. The scariest part is i'm only half kidding.
  22. The meat ship on page 8 and the football stadium on page 11 are true works of art. I'd probably eat some if i came across one at a party.
  23. per rotoworld, Hangartner's contract is 4 years 9.6 million. Haven't heard anything on fitzpatrick's or chambers'.
  24. Greer is a good player, NOT a great one. The good teams in the NFL hand out large contracts to keep their superstars around, and let above average players walk for way too much money. Greer is NOT a superstar. He wasn't worth the money. Hes a nice player to have, but easy to let go and replace when his contract comes due. We got a reasonable deal on drayton florence, and i don't think we'll see too much drop off in production. Greer shouldn't have been any higher than 3rd on the depth chart this season anyway, since McGee is the best corner we've got, and McKelvin is a real up and comer who will be better than greer before too long.
