Funny, i thought this was exactly the point of a "Beware of Dog" sign. What exactly is the difference between having that sign posted and telling some illegal dirtbags that your dog will attack them?

Major Plane Crash in Clarence Center (50 dead)

Sorry to hear that dog. -
Every player, especially QBs is going to have their good and bad games each year. The biggest thing we need from trent (aside from staying healthy for 16 games, not just 10) in 2009 is more Denver/KC games, and a lot fewer Mia, NYJ, NE*x2, Cleve, and SF games. And at some point, he's going to have to throw the ball downfield. We're not going anywhere if he continually checks down the outlet.

Horrible news. Thoughts and prayers for everyone involved, and i hope no one here on the board was affected. -
An end to the myth..."QB is not the problem"
Ramius replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Excellent post. While i wont take away that you need good QB play (note, i said good QB play, not necessarily a good QB) to win a Super Bowl, it is much mroe important to build a team before searching for the elusive "franchise QB." Some QBs are simply that damn good out of college. Most aren't. So build a solid team and then go QB chasing. -
is it legal to use neighbors wireless connection

If the owner tried to kick him out, he could sue the owner for millions! Because even though he's illegally in the house committing a crime, he has every right to do so and not be harassed while doing it. -
You've yet to explain how some pieces of sh-- scumbag illegals have a right to file a lawsuit in a country they are illegally entering. Are you really trying to defend that some guy might have to pay these dirtbags money after they illegally entered the country and illegally trespassed on his property? As tom said, its a civil suit, not a criminal one. These criminals got treated like the dirtbags they are. In the eyes of the law, he didn't do anything wrong. Throw the lawsuit out and deport their asses.
-
I only brought that in as an example for natural climate cycles/swings. I didn't mean to apply any of it as to the argument of what can be considered "normal" or "abnormal."
-
how the !@#$ can some illegal pieces of sh-- file a damn lawsuit in the US? They're in the country illegally. The second they step foot on American soil, they are criminals and should be dealt with appropriately. Send their asses back, and laugh in their face when they want to file some BS lawsuit. Frankly, I wouldn't have blamed the guy if he shot them.

Yup, sounds like scroll lock is on. If that doesn't work, Alt-F4 usually fixes the problem.

Fair enough point. I dont watch international, because i saw it once and didn't like the crew. If you at all interested, try watching the original Ghost Hunters with Jason and Grant. They are in between seasons now, but new episodes start again in march. You'll find the original so much better. Their process is much more thorough, and they debunk whatever they can. Give it a shot sometime. No one says you have to believe, but you'll definitely see some things that will make you scratch your head. You might not believe with all the evidence they get, because i don't, but you'll see some stuff that makes you raise your eyebrows.

Wow man. i can't believe it. All this time i thought your name was Dan, not jonathan. Get well man! Good to hear you're ok! -
The original ghost hunters have been on for years now. International is a spin off of the original. The original is much better. Asking questions is just some simple EVP work. Sometimes they get hits, the majority of times they don't. Deny it all you want, but there's a lot of sh-- on the show that you simply cannot explain. The original has gotten a ton of unexplainable evidence over the years, and they are pretty thorough about debunking it. IR images of figures where no one is. Things on camera moving. Unexplained noises. They've interacted with the ghosts and gotten intelligent responses. They've gotten the EVPs. There's also been plenty of cases where they have debunked something "paranormal" as simply tricks or something natural.

The problem comes in with using short term data to try and understand long term changes. Its stupid to try and use one cold winter to argue against climate change. However, its also stupid to use 100-200 years of climatological data to make a solid assumption on the cause of said climate change, in relation to 4.5 billion years of climate that has preceded it. Algore's political abortion aside (because no one in their right mind would dare to call that science), the problem with most "anthropogenic global warming" believers is that they simply present their data showing that the climate is changing, with the underlying assumption that humans must be the main cause. There is no care taken to explore all variables. You as a scientist should know that when you want to jgo from a correlation to a causation, you need to eliminate all other options that may be underlying the correlation. I have yet to see any good pro-anthropogenic-caused-climate-change group or scientist successfully discredit any of the natural effects that may cause the Earth to become warmer. Things like astronomical cycles, sun cycles, large, long term climate changes that wax and wane. All of this gets ignored, which is where my problem comes in. Until these guys can successfully rule out reasons A-Y, then they can't simply say that its because of reason Z. Yes, there is a correlation between human activities and the Earth climate becoming warmer. However, until as recent as the late 1700's, we were in the fuggin "little ice age." After an extended cool period, think we might warm up a bit? Gloal warming has turned itself into a giant farce. They've turned "eco-friendly" into a giant carbon circle jerk. Yes, we should be working to not trash the environment, and care for the Earth. However, unlike what he global warming nitiwts think, caring for the environment means a lot more than trading "carbon credits" and driving a car with fewer CO2 emissions.

Except the meteor wasn'ty responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs. They were on their way out before the meteor hit the Yucatan, and if it didn't hit, they still would have gone extinct in a relatively short amount of time. *If* they weren't already extinct, all the meteor did is finish them off.

I want to thank almost everyone in this thread for displaying the required idiocy in not understanding the difference between the actual physical climate change that is occurring (science) and the arguments as to what is causing it (politics).

Drafting Defensive Tackles in the 1st Round
Ramius replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A draw is the play where the WR runs in a straight line as far as possible and they throw him a deep ball, right? And i think a trap is when the defense sends the CB on a blitz? Either way, i hope the Bills run more of those plays next year so marshawn lynch can cross home plate and score a goal. I do find it funny that you accuse me of stalking AKC, yet conveniently forget that he followed me around calling me WRamius and misquoting my posts for the better part of a month. As for him leaving, its not my fault that he can't handle the fact he posted some complete and utter bullcrap and got called out for it. -
Drafting Defensive Tackles in the 1st Round
Ramius replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Got it. So now calling someone out for misrepresenting the facts by intentionally skewing their existing data and excluding data that didn't fit their little theory is a "straw man." But you're right. We need more people who make up facts and falsehoods to fit whatever their agenda may be. Since you apparently missed the point of those arguments, everyone agreed that beefing up the DL is a good thing. It was the B.S. methodology that we were arguing about. -
Gotta give the Catholic Church some credit. They've got a 2000 year old money-making scam going on and most people are none the wiser.

Scientologists, mormons, etc., nothing more than very popular cults.

I don't hate Rucker, but ever year you get a chub over every single mizzou player that's entering the draft, and act like they are the greatest thing to grace the NFL. Its great that you like them, but maybe we should try some realistic expectations?

You want an honest assessment of what i saw with little dougie? In 1998, Flutie was very good. He was a shot in the arm the franchise needed, and yes, he had a lot to do with selling the boxes at the Ralph. Of course, Flutie fumbled away our chances at victory against miami in the wildcard. Yes, there were other plays during that game (the moulds fumble, reed getting tossed) that affected the outcome, but flutie mistake was the game ender. As for 1999, Flutie didn't "lead the team to the playoffs" Flutie rode the backs of an amazing defense. The offense could barely get out of its own way during that regular season. 55% completion with 19 TD and a 16 INTs isn't "leading" a team anywhere. Flutie played just good enough to win some games the defense kept us in. But dont make it sound like Flutie was the savior. As for the playoff game, Flutie should have started, because he was our starting QB in 1999. What ralph did for the playoff game was BS. But the '99 season was the epitome of little dougie. Once teams got some game film on him, he was extremely easy to stop. He simply wasn't a very good QB. Then, you toss in the fact that the guy is an egomanical self-centered prick, and its no wonder why legions of people don't like him. He actively divided the locker room in buffalo. His schtick of "I won the game, but we lost it" got old in a hurry. Don't start with the "21-10" record either. Records for QBs are bogus, which is why no one outside of TBD cares about them. That was more a function of our spectacular defense during dougie's time here other than anything. Flutie was not this magic little QB wo never got a fair shot. He got his shots, and wasn't very good. Little dougie was a mediocre QB who had 1 good season.

or Martin Rucker. Coffman looks like a decent round 3 pick. Any sooner? nah.
