That's because for all of his athleticism and the occasional "wow" play - he is a bit of a knucklehead on the field, he's known for his gaffes. Also not a particularly good or interested blocker.

1 year deal tells me they're going to continue to address the position long term.

Not to mention (1) Sanders is a good and willing run blocker; and (2) he runs the same route tree as Diggs, giving them full playbook versatility on both sides of the field and to all depths of it. They can mirror the playbook by using Diggs and Sanders interchangeably- whereas previously, the defense had a decent idea which routes could conceivably be run by Diggs vs. Brown on any given play. It’s going to stress out the defense. Add Beasley and potentially Ertz and, man…

He can get to the edge. They need to get to the edge, I don’t care how - Lindsay, Kareem Hunt, a draft pick like Gainwell.

Would be kind of fun to make them match though…

I think what he can do that Brown can't is completely mirror Diggs' route possibilities and playing style. They can run the same plays/routes for each of them, letting them "mirror" the playbook to use either half of the field (or any depth) to run any route. He's also able to play in the slot (something Smoke didn't seem to love doing) and he's a great run blocker.

Sure looks like him.

Unreal how poorly run that team is. They rely almost exclusively on video scouting.

I still expect them to draft/sign speed.
