There’s that reach

Generally you should try to limit the number of positions where an injury would kill your season. Most teams that’s at least QB and that’s largely unavoidable (tho the Bills addressed that a bit this offseason). If Tre White gets hurt I don’t see how this team competes. Not an ideal spot to be in.

Corner depth on this roster is a HUGE concern right now.

I read somewhere that Bill Belichick designs his rosters every year depending on that year's schedule. If the Bills take a similar approach, they'll have to decide how important it is to defend the rush in 2021. By my count, they only play one elite rushing team - Tennessee - although the Patriots are likely to incorporate a lot of power running this year with a young QB (or Cam), two tight ends and a power back (Harris). Other than those three games and perhaps the Colts and Steelers, the Bills' opponents are more pass-oriented teams, including the Chiefs, Falcons, Saints, Bucs and Redskins. That said, given how the Bills continue to be linked to some veteran run-stopping DTs this late into the offseason, they may be thinking they'll need to beef up inside. Perhaps they just think they'll get enough pressure from their new additions at EDGE. I realize this is a meandering post - I don't know where I come out on it all. I do think Zimmer makes the team, simply because I don't see McBeane cutting a guy they've touted all offseason as a "Processed Product." That's not their MO - once they've hyped up a guy for his buy-in, they hate cutting him unless his skills have fallen off considerably. Here, reports suggest otherwise. I still think the most likely outcome is that Horrible Harry gets shipped elsewhere.
