  1. Samantha Ponder is absolutely smokin’ this morning. Just saying.
  2. Suspect they’re going with the exact same line personnel that mandhandled the Dolphins in Week 2 (but too lazy to look it up to confirm).
  3. Then I’m furious at him for sucking so bad he’s inactive.
  4. I am already furious at Cody Ford and the game hasn’t even started yet…
  5. Sure, let's scrap our high-octane passing offense, take the ball out of JA17's hands, and re-build our offensive philosophy around an injury-prone running back who by the way is paid at the top end of the market.
  6. If there ever were a player who was destined his whole career to end up on the Cowboys… is there somewhere we can wager on that happening?
  7. He’s too raw to count on this season.
  8. Brandon Aiyuk might be available, his playing time has evaporated in SF. Could probably get him for a 6th.
  9. Speed is the need.
  10. WR is definitely a need.
  11. How you haven’t been banned by now is quite a feat. You’ve done this crap for years.
  12. Some interesting names suggested here: Michael Gallup - in last year of his deal Christian Kirk - seems unlikely they’d move him but they did just draft Moore Josh Andrews - decent guard on a one-year deal
  13. Seems like one of those areas where the scouts, GM and coaches are not on the same page.
  14. That organization is rudderless.
  15. How did the Titans lose to the Jets?
  16. This game sucks. Bad QBs ruin the action.
  17. The Browns have like six running backs better than any RB on the Bills. And don’t get me started on their guards. Running teams in today’s NFL have an intriguing mismatch against most defenses which are built to stop the pass. The Browns scare me.
  18. Josh is so clearly hitting big plays with more consistency this year. His deep throws are more accurate and he’s on pace to hit more of them. What on Earth have you been watching?
  19. Patience for the check down is Allen’s final summit. Unclear if he’ll ever get there - throws like the one to Knox in the Chiefs game (not the TD, the other long one off his back foot from like the 16 yard line over a defender’s head) will only embolden him that he can throw it anywhere on the field any time. And maybe he’s right? I wouldn’t want him to sacrifice greatness for dump-offs. But situational awareness is something he has just not yet mastered and may never. Tom Brady would’ve taken those 8-15 yard dump-offs all day and would’ve won the game by doing so. Josh is the millennial version or whatever - he just gets bored throwing short. It didn’t cost them the game but it would’ve won them the game, if that makes sense.
  20. Not for second round picks - it's pretty universal, you're getting a top-60 player on a cost-controlled 4-year contract. If you hit on those picks - which you really should - you've got a solid starter at a below-market deal for four years. And the reason I say you really should hit is that the first round is often where teams bet on significant upside, pushing high floor/lower ceiling players to Round 2. It's a real goldmine in terms of value. Beane has shopped exclusively for "need" in Round 2, however, fixating on specific players at specific positions. Regardless, it's ridiculous that none of his 2nd round picks (3 years' worth) are contributing to the roster right now - that's almost unheard of around the league.
  21. me too and I’m one of the so-called “haterz” - I was very happy with his run defense.
  22. I do not have that frustration with the game. Many others, but not that one.
