  1. That kid who asked "can you bring Josh Allen?" 😂
  2. My take on Running Back is you don't take one in the First Round this year, period, end of statement. If you land a CB like Gardner, Stingley, Booth, or McDuffie in Round 1 and Breece Hall or Kenneth Walker III are available AND there isn't a WR there that has fallen further than you'd expect (like Skyy Moore or Christian Watson), you can take either Walker or Hall in Round 2. But only one of those those two. Otherwise, I'm generally eyeing James Cook in Round 3. I'd be pleased in this scenario.
  3. Maybe. But I don't see O-Line being a priority in the first couple rounds. We lost Daryl Williams and Jon Feliciano. We signed Rodger Saffold and Greg Mancz as well as retaining Ryan Bates, Ike Boettger, and Bobby Hart. The starting Line is written in pen this season already. I'm sure we'll draft a Lineman or two. But I don't see it being until Round 3 or 4 at the earliest.
  4. He must be a real good guy on the Practice Field and in the Film Room. Because they love them some Bobby Hart. Hopefully Tommy Doyle takes a step forward and Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown stay healthy and that's all he'll need to be.
  5. It WAS a big priority. But in signing Rodger Saffold and Greg Mancz and retaining Ryan Bates and Ike Boettger - it's been addressed. The starting Line is set for this season. Though there's a lot of one year deals there, I still don't think you're taking a Lineman in Round 1 or 2. Just mid round developmental guys for the coming seasons.
  6. I'm just speaking about the Diggs move itself. There were people thinking the Diggs move in and of itself meant Stephon Gilmore or anyone we wanted could be signed. It would require more than just the Diggs move.
  7. So 6.1 was added. I had heard that if cap was saved, it could be somewhere between 5 on the low end, 9 on the high end. We were just somewhere around 275,000 under yesterday, this brings us to just under 6.5 million under. We'll need somewhere between 2.5 to 3 to sign Draft picks. So maybe we make a small move or two, at the minimum level or just above it. But he also likes to have a little space in case of emergency for the season. Long story short, I don't think it changes our position all that much. Just gives us the space we need to be in okay shape for the Draft and in case of emergency.
  8. I've been saying it all offseason on posts around here, both Beane and McDermott have been transparent in saying on multiple occasions that we need speed. With that in mind, I've been convinced that we're going to draft someone who has a 4.41 40 or better. So I'm not surprised that we'd be interested in Moore. Much like others, I'd hope it wouldn't be at 25. Preferably, we'd trade down a few slots and pick up some more picks or trade up from 57 for him. In my mind the list of guys we're probably targeting are: Garrett Wilson, Jameson Williams, or Chris Olave in Round 1 (would have to move up for Wilson, definitely. Olave, maybe) Jahan Dotson, Skyy Moore, Christian Watson, Alec Pierce, or Calvin Austin III in Round 2 (will probably have to trade up from 57 for Dotson, Moore or Watson) Velus Moore, Bo Melton, Tyquan Thornton, or Danny Gray between Rounds 3 to 7.
  9. Beane: Good to see you Trevon, why don't you step over here. Have you ever seen the movie "Face Off"? *Dane Jackson strapped to a machine*
  10. Yes. I also think if there's a guy Beane really likes and fears he may not make it to 25, he'll move up.
  11. Metchie is really good value from a talent standpoint in Round 3. Kind of hard to pass that up. However, as I've stated in previous posts, this entire offseason both Beane and McDermott have preached needing speed on offense. Walker being a 4.38 guy helps out of the backfield. And while OJ Howard's 4.5 doesn't sound like much, for a man his size out of the TE position, that is fast. But I feel that they're looking for an added element of speed with the WR roster spot vacated by Emmanuel Sanders. So I'm not entirely convinced Metchie would be one of the guys we'd be looking at. Again though, the talent and the value would be tempting. I think in this scenario, we'd still look to add in further rounds. I'd have eyes on Velus Jones, Bo Melton, Tyquan Thornton, or Danny Gray as the Draft goes on. I don't get the feeling that they think much of Marquez Stevenson. As evidenced by them not using him at all last season, even when we needed speed and needed help with injuries. So Metchie could take Sanders roster spot and one of those guys could battle with Stevenson, the loser moving to the Practice Squad.

  13. Reach of the century. And I thought George Pickens going at 22 over Jameson Williams, Jahan Dotson, and Christian McCaffrey was a wild pick. Geesh.
  14. Yes, but this isn't confirmation. Just speculation. Is it likely? Yes. But we don't know for sure. It's been reported as an extension, not a completely new deal.
  15. Could you provide a link? I've yet to hear anyone who has any info on what the contract looks like. Just fan speculation.
  16. I would wholeheartedly disagree that the Diggs extension was done now simply because they wanted cap space. It was done now because we want to keep him in the fold for years to come, keep him happy with all the other big deals that were handed out to WR's, and because he's wanted a new deal since the day we traded for him over two seasons ago. The signing has been billed as an "extension". Not a completely new deal. When we extended Josh, his contract stayed the same and the new numbers came in the extension. It's possible they reworked these two years, but it's not a given. Especially when you consider his number now isn't excessive in the grand scheme of top WR's.
  17. We don't know yet. We'll have to wait until his contract details are posted on Spotrac. People are assuming his cap number was changed for this season. But to me it's just as likely that his contract stays the same for the next two years and the new money is on the backend with a prorated signing bonus up front.
  18. James Cook is the RB I end up selecting for the Bills more than anyone. If we are able to land one of the top CB's in Round 1 and Breece Hall or Kenneth Walker III are available in Round 2 and the WR pickens are slim, I'll go that route. But it's more often than not James Cook in Round 3 and I'd be thrilled with that. My ideal Draft is: Round 1: Andrew Booth or Trent McDuffie Round 2: Christian Watson, Skyy Moore, Alec Pierce, or Calvin Austin III (in that order) Round 3: James Cook or Isaiah Spiller
  19. Matt Araiza is one of the top 3 options and getting votes? Holy crap. I like him and I'd be down for taking him. But i'm not taking a Punter in the 4th, let alone the 3rd. That's ridiculous. Especially when you consider that he's not a complete talent. He's got an elite leg, for sure. But it's not like he has that and has complete control over it and is known for regular coffin pins. He basically just booms it, touchbacks be damned. That's fine when we're pinned in our own red zone. But that's not happening often.
  20. Steven Nelson maybe. Jerry Hughes, no. I get the idea of wanting him to be on the team to see a Championship. But you have to think of it this way, it's a lot to ask for him to come back for literal pennies on the dollar. We're not going to pay much for the kind of role he'd have on this team. It's a lot to ask for him to go from being a Starter to a rotational guy seeing minimal snaps behind Miller and Rousseau. It's a lot to ask for him to come back and go from the Defensive Captain for the better part of a decade and unquestioned leader in the DE room to being a guy in the background to King Von. And that's another wrinkle of this. I think the Von move screamed a changing of the guard. They want Von to be the leader in that room. I don't think the team wants the shadow of Jerry Hughes looming over that. And it wouldn't shock me if Von wouldn't want that either.
  21. If Booth is on the board at 25, this will be the pick and I believe Beane is sprinting to the podium.
  22. CB Andrew Booth, Clemson WR Calvin Austin III, Kentucky
  23. Size isn't important. They're looking for an added element of speed and separation to our core for the replacement for the roster spot vacated by Emmanuel Sanders (Beasley already having been replaced by Jamison Crowder). Calvin Austin III is faster than Skyy Moore (4.32 v. 4.41), but Moore is considered the higher valued prospect. Moore should already be off the board by 69. If he isn't, Beane would probably be sprinting to the podium. It's also a very fair spot to take Austin (and many assume him to be gone as well). If neither are still there (and assuming Christian Watson, Alec Pierce, and Khalil Shakir are also gone) - then I'd look at who's on the board at the Offensive Line and try to secure a Velus Jones, Bo Melton, Tyquan Thornton, or Danny Gray in the coming rounds. I'd probably double up as well if Thornton or Gray is available later.
  24. I assumed Skyy Moore was already off the board. If he manages to make it to your next pick, that's a no brainer to me. I'm of the mind our first pick should be a CB, no later than Round 2. A speedy WR needs to be selected no later than Round 3. A RB no later than Round 4.
