  1. David Bell? Our core needs speed and he ran a 4.69 at his Pro Day. No thanks.
  2. When Walker went 41, the idea of Cook lasting until 89, which was a very iffy proposition to begin with, went way out the window. Moving down twice to pick up picks to allow us to move around on Day 3 and grabbing him just shy of Round 3 was so smart. I love everything about the pick.
  3. Man, Pittsburgh looks stupid for drafting Kenny Pickett at 20. Could have had Malik Willis at 52 and more likely than not, could have drafted Kenny Pickett here as well.
  4. Bill said "hold my beer" to people giving him flack for reaching for Cole Strange by trading up for Tyquan Thornton 😂
  5. With Hall and Walker going by 41, I would be shocked to see Cook available at 89.
  6. Of course what teams and scouts think of players and their fits with teams is ultimately what matters most. But it's still surprising to see when guys go a lot earlier than expected over guys who weren't expected to be on the board at this point.
  7. Wan'Dale Robinson and John Metchie III over George Pickens and Skyy Moore? That's really surprising to me.
  8. Oh man. Of course it had to be the Jets 😂
  9. We signed a Pro Bowl Guard, matched an offer sheet to retain the Guard that elevated our O-Line when we inserted him in, signed the Right Tackle of the Titans who started all 17 games for them last season (and can also play Guard), retained another Guard who started 10 games for us last season, signed a Center (who can also play Guard) who started in 5 games for the Dolphins last season, and vastly improved our O-Line coach. They've put in a lot of work on the O-Line this offseason. If Bernhard Raimann is there and they feel he could be an upgrade over Spencer Brown, okay. Otherwise I'm not interested in going O-Line Round 2 this season.
  10. You had an AWESOME Draft. Not gonna front on that. But the Jets have a LOOONNGGG way to go and Rookies aren't guaranteed to be superstars immediately. I'd pump the brakes a bit.
  11. "Let it go" as in continuing to make posts about us trading him this offseason. It's not happening.
  12. I am in lockstep with you both. While I like the idea of adding Breece Hall or Kenneth Walker III to the team if either are on the clock at 57 - I feel we'd be really shorting ourselves waiting for WR in Round 3. Meanwhile, I love Cook's tape, especially as a Pass Catcher. And there's only 2 WR's I like for the Bills more than Alec Pierce (Skyy Moore and Christian Watson) and they'll both be gone (as will George Pickens, but he lacks the speed I think we're looking for). We'd be far better off going WR in Round 2 and RB in Round 3 instead of the other way around.
  13. We don't know that. All we know is that they haven't extended him yet and want to see how he performs this season in a Contract year. Could we hedge our bets a bit by taking a LB in Round 2? Yes. But that will be in conjunction with Tremaine, not as a replacement.
  14. Tremaine Edmunds isn't going to be traded. Regardless of how you feel of his play (which isn't as bad as some of you posters make it seem), he's the signal caller of the #1 Defense in the league for years running. We're not going to disrupt the flow of this Defense in this important season by hoping that a 2nd Round pick is going to not only cause us to miss a step in his Rookie season, but make it perform better. They vastly improved the Defensive Line in front of him. They brought in the DT he played with in College. This wasn't just a coincidence. They want to see if it'll pay dividends for Tremaine. He's going to get this season. It's time to let it go.
  15. I'm hoping someone from this list: CB Andrew Booth Jr. WR Christian Watson WR Skyy Moore WR George Pickens LB Nakobe Dean RB Breece Hall RB Kenneth Walker III OT Bernhard Raimann WR Alec Pierce WR Calvin Austin III TE Trey McBride EDGE David Ojabo LB Christian Harris S Jalen Pitre CB Kyler Gordon CB Roger McCreary LB Chad Muma CB Tariq Woolen
  16. No, it came from a Sirius XM Analyst - https://heavy.com/sports/buffalo-bills/draft-picks-2022-cut-veterans/ Epenesa was a 2nd Round Pick, Ford was a high 2nd Round Pick, and Moss was a 3rd Round Pick. All are young. High Draft Picks who are young are desirable in trades as teams may have liked them coming out of College over the past few years and could feel that they can get more out of them in their system and a change in scenery. Obviously you're not going to get the same return in where you picked them. But you could get a value somewhere between 2 rounds later or so. If you combine one (or more) of them with 57 and some later round picks - I think you'd be surprised at where you could get. Especially at some of the lower costs of trade ups that occured in Round 1. And I don't think it's crazy to think mid round picks the following year could be in play also.
  17. No, I don't see them moving their 3rd. But there was some scuttlebutt that they may be interested in moving veterans to move up. You could package someone like Epenesa, Ford, or Moss. Could also trade mid round picks from next year. And picks in Rounds 5-7. Though I know no one on this thread wants to hear it, I think they'd be more likely to do it for a guy like Christian Watson or Skyy Moore if they were going to move up again. I think if Hall or Walker is there at 57, I could see them doing it. But I'd think James Cook or Rachaad White in the 3rd is more likely at this point.
  18. I said it repeatedly in this thread. No RB would be selected in Round 1. Breece Hall was not the prospect that Najee Harris or Travis Etienne were coming out. Would not shock me in the least if he were still on the board at 57.
  19. Kaiir Elam was NOT a reach. Cole Strange, THAT was a reach.
  20. "Man, I'm feeling great! We're gonna win the Super Bowl man!"
  21. Wouldn't surprise me either. My stance is that none of these guys left over are someone you count on as anything more than spot duty at this point. I was referring to fans who were saying we just sign Joe Haden or Xavier Rhodes and we were good to go without having to Draft anyone.
  22. "Beane doesn't value CB2 and won't spend a 1st" "The plan is still to sign a veteran CB, we may not even draft one at all" 😆😆😆😆😆
  23. I'd have assumed you'd have been thrilled because his arms aren't under 30". He was the guy they liked. He has the speed neither has. A lot of people *ahem* said something similar when we drafted Josh Allen. Reports are Dallas liked Elam. Even if they weren't going to take him, if he was their guy above all others, why risk the possibility of someone possibly trading in front of us in Dallas' slot to take him with teams knowing we needed CB? Relax.
