  1. Trades are so rare these days - I read an article that said in the last 12 years, the average number after season start was...one per year.
  2. Your knowledge of these socialist-driven laws is lacking. Open the door and you are accused of setting up the entrapment. Only the authorities..police....social services...can do something. The rule now is guilty until you can - at expense - prove yourself innocent. Why do you think school systems expel kids for taking an aspirin or pointing a finger?
  3. Lee is not liking your self-centered goading of others, crayonz. Please behave.
  4. I think it would. Weight Watchers also works. If you buy their food - which does have you follow a good diet - and don't take a bite outside of their plan - it will work. I've known several who followed all the strictures of Weight Watchers, paid for their food, with excellent results. It also includes exercise, of course. The Weight Watcher meetings help, too - mutual encouragement. Certainly, reading food labels and acting accordingly, working out your own exercise works - but being in a 3rd party "plan" of action" has helped many. I say you give it a try!
  5. You saw fit to quote...cite, two of my sentences, without clear reference to a previous poster's words. And proceeded to make comment. If your target was crayonz, you failed. That was sloppy, scribo...no reference to the antecedent. I expect better writing form.
  6. Please clarify. This post seems to imply a threat to me.
  7. Dudette...I obviously was referring to extant laws that infect the Nation. But by all means - continue posting...I understand your need to be oh-so-cute.
  8. A shove in a crowd is not a basis for assault. If it was, there would be thousands and thousands of charges at any event where there is a crowd. And the fact is, if you touch a child in any way these days, even to save it - you touched a child and so your life is ruined. This summer in Cincinnati, a kid got into a car parked on the street. The owner went to his car, saw the kid roasting, and instead of opening the door and removing the child, he called the police. He knew well, had he opened the car door and removed that child, he was setting himself up for molestation charges.
  9. Five or ten bucks? You don't get around much, Ramius. I see pencil-scratched lucky number lists. The computer picks are bought by the casual folks.
  10. A criminal charge for moving through a crowd - O Brother... Things like this is why people who would in previous times stop a child from running out into traffic, let the tyke go and get flattened. Do that today - restrain a child from killing itself - and a simple assault charge is the least of your worries...the reward for helping a child being charged with being a sexual predator...
  11. But can we fault a fellow for not watching a Pats* game, and just relying on the observations of others? Nay, Sir...Nay!
  12. Given the general level of intelligence, I see this as yet another opportunity to swipe even more personal information.
  13. Perhaps he was angry that the fellow who blew the whistle on their videotaping scheme has yet to be fitted with concrete shoes and dumped into the Charles?
  14. I put 4 bucks a week on the Mega Millions drawings - it aids the quality of my daydreams. One of the first things our new Governor here in Ohio did was reduce the odds on lotto games...he wanted more revenue. I saw a tv show once, that said that the States got into the biz to combat "numbers" rackets, and soon found how lucrative it really was. And a State's lottery commission and its' many workers are IMO in large numbers, patronage jobs that the "Ins" hand out for favors rendered. I have no gambling skills - but I wish there was Off-Track betting here, since the odds of getting your money back is at worst one in twelve.
  15. Uh-Oh. All 6 DAL games have been shown here in Cincy. These injuries might jeopardize a perfect 16-game showing.
  16. On a brighter note, Rodriguez had to pay back WVU 4 million bucks for bolting to Michigan. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/news...p&type=lgns
  17. Happy B'Day, Gents !
  18. Congrats! Wife 'n me are going to a Circque de Soleil performance - Saltimbanco.
  19. But..Americans love gambling casinos! More casinos! Casinos will employ! Casinos will pay taxes! Casinos take credit cards!
  20. There you go again - faced with your failed attempt to put forth yet another false imprimatur, you deflect. Reach for another tack, another subject. Toss out more invectives. blz, your mendacity is truly breathtaking...
  21. In the California State congress... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Hayden Nice try at the usual phony implication with no basis in truth - the kids that you weathered Dems exploit daily eat up your pap without question, so I'm sure you won't stop anytime soon...
  22. Yep. Spend 30 minutes sitting at a table at one's local mall grease trap/food court, and you will see much more appealing, possibly more hygienic, young women saunter by.
  23. Will they wear the socially mandated pink ribbon that all good sheep demand?
  24. Any Congressional earmarks through the years, for ACORN?
  25. Well, how solvent is the Pension Guaranty Fund? Can they cover future shortfalls? No! I say dev/null should have 500 bucks out of his paycheck per month assessed and put into government coffers until that funds' potential liability sheet is balanced!
