  1. The OH Dem Secretary of State, among other things, is required to insure the execution of a fair election process. Jennifer Brunner got slapped by the OH Supreme Court - unanimously - for her attempt to invalidate GOP absentee ballots. Of course, with her tail shoved between her whatever, she praised the process... http://news.cincinnati.com/article/2008100...070333/1004/COL and here is the court decision: http://www.sconet.state.oh.us/rod/docs/pdf...8-ohio-5097.pdf But feel free to deny, Dems. Your party is now controlled by hard leftists, socialists bent on rule by cadre, the self-important, intolerant, disputatious crowd. And like good sheep, you will follow them to the eventual removal of all individual rights and be subservient to the State. I wouldn't be at all surprised if in 30 years, your paycheck goes to the Federal government, and they will mete out money to you as they feel necessary according to their view - for your benefit, of course. You saps can't smell the coffee, and in the rare instance that you do...you demand that the State protect you from the dangers of coffee. Speaking of, I went to my local McD's for my morning coffee. The menu placards changed - the food pictorials on clamshells were replaced by the same food pictorial...but on plates. The shift manager got my coffee. I mentioned it to her. She rolled her eyes, put her palms out, shrugged her shoulders.
  2. Sigh...here we go again. Iraq Liberation Act of 1998: http://www.iraqwatch.org/government/US/Legislation/ILA.htm Democrats on Weapons of Mass Destruction: http://www.snopes.com/politics/war/wmdquotes.asp
  3. I don't see many Bills games, but with what I've seen, I agree with your comments, Bill. There are clubs that put a premium on a tight ends' pass skills - there are those that do not. I remember the drumbeat here by some, for Vernon Davis. The acrimonious noise about moving up to draft him, the vilification flung towards the front office with his performance to date, would have been deafening.
  4. Lurker, you are a fool if you can't figure out what this ACORN outfit is all about. They have been under investigation by several States, for several years. Once more, their spiel is that they can't control their 100 or so "allied" groups, and that it is the authorities that need to do a better job. You like to rag on Fox - I suggest you ask why most of the rest of the media aren't after ACORN. There is a betrayal of the press across America. Add in the slow demise of the printed word. The "gimme a link" mentality with the assumption that any twerp with a computer and 5 bucks to spend on a domain name spouts the Eternal Truth. You would have to have the level of intuition and detection ability of a twig laying on the sidewalk not to see that. The odds are getting better everyday - that you shall wake up one day and find yourself very dismayed at the government you screamed and kicked for. You will get the one-party rule you seem to desire. Opposing views no longer allowed. BTW - that kicking and screaming about butterfly ballots in FLA (in counties ruled by Dems), chads...now we have the "electronic" voting. I'm sure in the past several years, you've read and article or to about failures, mysterious results, and the like. You also might like to look into Buddist monks, the Lippo Group, etc. but you won't. So here it is - the moaners and criers that were carefully directed and orchestrated fell into the trap - the paper trail of the ballot is essentially non-existent.
  5. And add credit card debt into that sandbox that huge numbers of people play in...(insert head-shaking smiley). http://www.indexcreditcards.com/creditcarddebt/
  6. He never was a Texan. His first 4 years in the league was with TEN. And I have a hard time believing this Yahoo flack talked with four NFL executives - the NFL generally being tighter-lipped than the former KGB. Perhaps they were executives in charge of the washrooms...
  7. http://www.thestar.com/business/article/513893 It's inxorable...
  8. Another good thing: My weekly piece of junk mail from GEICO has dwindled to just once a month.
  9. Very noble thought. I say the entire populations of Morocco and Algeria pack up and move to the middle of Basque country.
  10. Oh H*ll...where are my rings? Happy B'Day!
  11. This could qualify as the valedictory speech in high schools all across America these days...
  12. Well, you might want to go back and edit out "I'm done.". There, are you trapped?
  13. Red ant? Black ant? Army ant? Honey ant? Fire ant? A terminal question mark indicates a query. The "Was..." is understood. Brevity. It's been common usage long before you or I were hatched...
  14. After the Chisox and Cubs falling into the toilet, I bet the Chicago political machine is really p-o'd about losing all that wining and dining they expected I wonder if in their anger they will lash out and find more things to ban - in the name of protecting the people, of course.
  15. See also Brady and the Pats*, for several years...
  16. Yes - but who can predict the future? Would it be better to sell off one's first round choice, and move to the bottom of the 2nd, in hopes that a Jones-Drew shows up? With assurance that your particular team has the necessary parts to let that #60 strut his stuff?
  17. I think the NFL attenuates crowd noise. They seem to minimize pans of the crowd - empty seats are bad for the image. In some early '70's late game...the HOU Oilers HC Bill Petersen, left the bench as his club was being smashed senseless and went up into the empty bleachers. The camera found him, he somehow knew it, and flashed the bird. One of the tv announcers said "Well, that's one fan's opinion"
  18. LA - thanks for the pix!!!
  19. Good post. Players like Bush add excitement to the NFL. I think most every club would like one of these versatile RBs on their roster, arguments about where he's selected in the draft aside. I'm a big fan of having a RB on the roster with very good pass catch skills. Especially when you're going with a rookie, or inexperienced QB.
  20. Happy B'Day!
  21. Were I a HC and really thought one of my players got dog-shi*ted by a member of the opposition, I wouldn't look to third parties for after-game succor - I'd run my horses over that guy then and there, strategy be dam*ed, until the message sinks into him and his management and cleans up the slate. If they don't get the message, war breaks out.
  22. In a topic about the hit on Edwards, you chose to interject a hit on Lynch, and cite a link about the AZ safety. The backdoor approach to try to sway the original subject is historical. I merely took efforts to illuminate your obfuscation. The use of the word "technically", before legal, is a tip-off... Carry on.
  23. And other people will pay to raise his Baby Momma whelp. Poor kids...maybe Jesse Jackson's millions will come into the scene to help.
  24. stuckincincy's stats of the week: FUM - recovered by AZ at BUF 38 FUM - recovered by AZ at BUF 41 FUM - recovered by AZ at BUF 19 INT - by AZ, play blown dead at the 50 yard line. Sacks: 5 by AZ, 0 by BUF. It was an overall team effort...
