  1. Of course they are. 40 or so of the largest US cities have Democratic Mayors, 31 States have Democratic Governors. View the movie, Men In Black. Jeeze...so easy...
  2. Buy the non-PC pressurized metal spray can products.
  3. Obama's camp has a plan for you.
  4. Plus free food, free heat, free housing, free phone, free cable, free day care, Earned Income Credit, absentee voting without proof of eligibility, free abortions, free job training, free school lunch (Heaven forbid a parent actually has to take the time to make a free peanut butter and jelly sandwich and put it into a free paper bag along with a free apple for their various kids). It's like Mike Brown's Bengals team that gets a good living for Mikie under the socialist system that is the NFL. Or MLB's Pirates. No incentive to become a citizen that improves anything - just peel cash off of others...
  5. Happy belated B'Day, BillsVet!
  6. ..."Freddie Mac's payments to DCI began shortly after the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee sent Hagel's bill to the then GOP-run Senate on July 28, 2005. All GOP members of the committee supported it; all Democrats opposed it. In the midst of DCI's yearlong effort, Hagel and 25 other Republican senators pleaded unsuccessfully with Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., to allow a vote. "If effective regulatory reform legislation ... is not enacted this year, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system and the economy as a whole," the senators wrote in a letter that proved prescient."... I highlighted the salient point for you...
  7. IIRC, Arrowhead owns the record for consecutive season sell-outs. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn41..._n16877791/pg_2
  8. RIP, Mr. B. His lists were pretty funny.
  9. That might help. Whet we really need is downhill trickeration in space at the 2nd level.
  10. Yep, that's the location. I believe it was existing back when Premier was a small shop on the corner of Girard, before they moved to where the former Pioneer Dodge dealership once stood. My wife has a vague recollection of the name, The Apartment", as guffalo suggested.
  11. I type corrected. It was the Royal Pheasant on Forest.
  12. The Golden Pheasant was on Forest, opposite the insane asylum.
  13. RIP...I've an old cassette of him and the Four Tops singing a cappella numbers.
  14. Huskies are great dogs. Jovial and as friendly and eager as they come. There's one across the street from me. When it was a pup, it slipped out, and I walked him back home lured by a slice of baloney. He's gotten out a few times since - and sits on my porch waiting for more baloney. He and some of the local stray cats are great friends - the gate is a framed wire mesh thing, and I've see him and his cat buddies huddled together sleeping. I also recommend Border Collies. Smart as can be, great with kids.
  15. RIP...actress, wife of Ernie Kovacs. A well-known personality of the early days of TV. http://www.newsday.com/news/nationworld/ny...0,6043250.story
  16. I know your pain. Last month, a windstorm swept through and knocked out the power for several days. I own a battery-operated 5" tv - but it took me 2 minutes to find and hook up rabbit ears that I already owned.
  17. It think it was on Delaware, east side of the street. I also forget its' name. The inside was weirdly-coved with pointy white-painted stucco. IIRC. Was that the one? There was also another interior-stuccoed joint on Hertel opposite Precinct 13...The "Magic Grove"...??? It was owned by a pleasant man and wife seemingly of the...umm...mattachine persuasion, but was a safe, clean, decent place to roll into in the late hours.
  18. New Administration, possibly a conciliatory one with its' eyes focused domestically, a troubled world economy, heavy, long-standing US debt to the PRC...between purchased Treasury obligations and the insatiable U.S. consumer appetite for Chinese goods. http://www.ustreas.gov/tic/mfh.txt Thoughts?
  19. My younger sister & husband had a Bassett. It howled continuously, and believe it or not tried to hump any living creature within its' sight. They gave it away to a good home and got a beagle. Beagles have an issue or two, but there is no denying that they are hilarious clowns. This particular one was very well-trained by my brother-in-law, and was a remarkable rabbit dog.
  20. Googlebot, archive.org, askJeeves.com data mining?
  21. "Saturday Night Fish Fry". Ever heard it? What a rip!... http://www.metrolyrics.com/saturday-night-...cs-bb-king.html
