  1. The best part is you don't even have to pay them a salary. They are still getting paid by the Giants
  2. I heard a story that Lowell liked to play a little game where he'd ask for a light from your lighter and then walk off with it to see if you'd say anything.
  3. That carries a lot of weight. He knows more than I do. I'm just saying I've yet to see him significantly elevate any team he played for. Maybe he was never in the right situation.
  4. Let's not get carried away.
  5. I think the new Highmark is showing there is no such thing as a "little investment" into a new stadium. As for UB stadium, I don't think there is anything that wrong with it. Yeah the track sucks, but it's not like the field is a million miles away from the stands. But why can't you play games at Highmark? I would think adding 5-6 more events to the stadium calendar would be a good thing, a little extra revenue. People are used to football played at Highmark. Sell seats on just one side to save on staffing concessions, security etc. Charge $10 to park, $20-$30 for tickets. 10K attendance would be a healthy number for the UFL.
  6. The UFL is mostly in warm weather markets. But Bills Mafia are tough!! Could we get 10-15K to show up for spring ball? Who wouldn't want a few more tailgate opportunities. Also, our old pal Russ Brandon manages the UFL. https://search.app?link=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.theufl.com%2Fnews%2F2024%2Fnovember%2F25%2Funited-football-league-launches-expansion-process-for-new-team-markets&utm_campaign=aga&utm_source=agsadl1%2Csh%2Fx%2Fgs%2Fm2%2F4
  7. You want a new kicker? Watch spring football. Aubrey, Bates and Koo all came from the XFL/USFL/UFL.
  8. So with Bowling Green beating Ball State Saturday, the only way Buffalo has a shot of making the MAC Championship is if Ball State beats Ohio in Athens. Not very likely. Still a great year and a chance to go 8-4 with a win over Kent State Tuesday, with a bowl to follow.
  9. Members of the CFP committee are holding an emergency meeting right now to figure out a justification to keep Alabama in the playoff bracket. Maybe a #13 seed?
  10. And making it harder to come up with an excuse to put 3-loss Alabama in the CFP.
  11. I have a hunch tax issues are going to be less of a concern going forward.
  12. https://spectrumlocalnews.com/nys/buffalo/news/2024/11/23/buffalo-bills-provide-updated-personal-seat-licenses-sales-figures-for-new-stadium So about 9% of available seating committed to in about 9 months? At this rate how will they get the entire stadium sold before opening day?
  13. LOL, keep telling yourself that. The NFL let the Browns leave Cleveland. And the Sabres were worth $92MM when Tom Golisano bought them from the NHL. They're worth $1.15B today. They'd be worth twice that in Houston or Atlanta.
  14. Kitty litter? 🤔 He said he wouldn't say bundle-rooski 🤪
  15. The fact the Bills and Sabres are still in Buffalo flies against your opinion. Both teams would make more money and be worth more elsewhere.
  16. I stop in Utica on my way to Buffalo often, but for the food.
  17. Tennessee is getting a nice dome for the same price, albeit projected. I'll be curious what that ends up costing.
  18. All he was saying was "well done, get you next time."
  19. I can't believe the price jump on this stadium. If there isn't the same increase on other stadium projects, I'm going to have some questions.
  20. Nah. As bad as things are, they can get even worse.
  21. Sports talk guys aren't the people you want making these decisions.
  22. Apparently the Bills-Lions game isn't or can't be protected, and it's a candidate to move to Monday Night. https://search.app?link=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.si.com%2Fnfl%2Flions%2Fnews%2Flions-game-against-bills-could-be-flexed&utm_campaign=aga&utm_source=agsadl1%2Csh%2Fx%2Fgs%2Fm2%2F4
  23. Ducks are actually pretty equal to the Sabres: 8-8-3
