I don't know how old folks typically are here, but I'm old enough to have followed the Bills through most of the team's existence. This regime is as good if not better than we've ever had. You can cling to your negatives if you want. We are in the Golden Age of Bills football. Appreciate it. It's not going to be this way forever. Look at New England.

One of the downsides of being a great team is unrealistic expectations. Even the best teams will go three-n-out once in a while.

How many points are we giving up? Not many since we lead the NFL in scoring defense. Joe Marino of the Locked on Bills podcast explains it this way. The Bills focus on not giving up the big pass play. The trade off is they give up run plays. But run plays are less dangerous than pass plays. So the Bills invite teams to run on them between the 20s because other than giving up fantasy points and run stats, it doesn't hurt you. Once you are in the red zone it gets a lot harder. So what you consider a problem is actually a strategy.

That was a fairly poor use of time outs by Cleveland. It worked out but it really limited what the Browns could do in the red zone. First, they wasted 10 seconds calling the first one. And they called #3 to early, forcing Cleveland into three pass plays at the end.

I spent the day watching the talking head shows for reactions to the Bills game. The morning shows spent time being complimentary of Josh.
