Are you actually watching the games or just reacting to the box scores? I watch every minute of every game. This team has not quit (yet.) They had TWO goals taken away from them last night. They give up goals thanks to crazy bounces. Have you ever been in a situation where the harder you tried the worse things got? That's the Sabres right now.

They had two goals taken away in this game. How would you feel if you were trying to break a losing streak and you keep getting these setbacks. Don't forget the first goal in the MTL game was scored when a referee accidentally kicked the puck to a Canadiens player. I think the players are playing with plenty of heart. I see no lack of effort. Just an endless string of bad breaks.

I heard stories from the 60's of people bringing kegs into the stadium. They did have to buy a ticket for it, though.

We did get reimbursed for the Detroit snow game. I think all ticket holders were. If you recall they literally gave away tickets for that game. Still got 60K. Probably a lot of Detroit fans. If an NFL game got moved last minute to Buffalo and they offered free tickets, wouldn't you go?

Some bowls pay more than others. Bahamas was always a low payout. But I think all MAC schools pool bowl money anyway.

Buffalo has that. I 100% agree big cities have tons more stuff but it's not like Buffalo is just a gas station and a traffic light. Again, my point is if you want something, make a minimal effort to see if it exists in Buffalo. Want to hit Toronto? Go right ahead. Fun town. But if you have 4 hours free and want to do something, head to Elmwood Ave or Allentown.

People like Von are full time athletes. They don't have time to hang out and party a lot. So it's not like you have endless hours to fill. Learn a little about your town and make an effort to engage. Being locked in your apartment is not a better alternative. Ask a 20-something Bills staffer for ideas.

I don't know what Von likes to do and if it's missing from Buffalo. But I know a lot of players get scared of the weather and hole up in their apartments playing Xbox and never go anywhere. I'd love to get a list of things players want to do and try to match them with places that offer it. Buffalo usually has some of everything, just not as much as a big city.

I hated all red. Red on white is sharp. Remember when the Sabres had white Goatheads on white pants? That was too much. White on blue would've been awesome.

He has to be on some draft radars. It's not like we can't use another good LB.

Levi isn't a disappointment. He's still developing. Goalies take longer. He's doing quite well in the AHL. In fact Levi is probably happy in Rochester looking at what the Sabres have become. UPL should sue for non support.
