I'm very tempted to fly down to DC and catch UB at Maryland on 9/3. UB plays UMass on 10/15. That's only a 2 hour drive away for me.

Just got back from Wilmington/Carolina Beach for vacation. This was more of an eating tour. (I recommend True Blue Butcher & Table for steak, Seaview Crab Co for casual seafood, Rooster and Crow for Southern cuisine and Edw. Teach for beer.) Housing has definitely gone up by about $100K since I was last there. Used to be about to find places for just over $200K. Now same houses are $300K+.

Both times were in small clubs. Got to watch him up close.

WGR is a classic example of a station and staff that has been coasting for years due to lack of real competition. Doing local sports radio well is expensive, and no other Buffalo broadcaster is going to make that investment to take on WGR.

I have to laugh. I mean what do you want a UDFA player in camp to do? Not play great?
