  1. Technically you aren't. Look at your invoice. The Bills use dynamic pricing. Every game is a different price. Pre-seasons are the cheapest. Say you pay $1,000 for a season ticket. In your mind you think every game is a $100 ticket. But some games might be $200 and the preseason games $50.
  2. How so? You still have a structure in free space. In fact since it's only supported on one side it's even trickier.
  3. You know you're right. 🤪
  4. To cover 80% of the seats costs as much as a full dome. The engineering is practically the same. Saying a dome costs too much is baloney. If they wanted to save money they'd have no cover at all.
  5. Since we only get 8 home games this year the price we pay might not change from last year. But then they won't increase next year but have 9 home games. $$$$ They did this with the Toronto series when some years we'd only have 7 home games to blunt the perception of price increases. The NFL is an expensive club to belong to. EDIT: I'm wrong. I forgot they add a 2nd preseason game when there's only 8 home games. SO you're paying for 10 either way.
  6. First, about Granato. He was hired to rebuild a team from nothing. So his winning % means diddly squat. This year, and likely the next two, are for player development, not a playoff run. Then there's Jack Eichel. He requested a trade before his neck injury. Then when the injury happened, he wanted the Sabres to okay his ADR procedure and be on the hook for his remaining $50MM if something went wrong. Would you do that for a player that told you he wanted out? You'd have to be a fool to do that. And let's not get ahead of ourselves. Jack has yet to step on the ice in a real game. It's a little premature to declare his neck surgery a success. As for the Pegula's, their Sabres tenure has been a train wreck. But why? It wasn't a lack of spending. It was hiring the wrong people. And just like the Bills, once they hit the right hire, things turned around. I think the front office under Kevyn Adams is the right guy. Don Granato is an exceptional developmental coach. While no players is fully worth a Jack Eichel, Alex Tuch and Peyton Krebs have been terrific. But unlike other sports, you can't turn an NHL team around a dime. Especially when you are rebuilding through the draft. You bring up 2014 prospects. They panned out but for OTHER TEAMS!! Tim Murray thought he could take a shortcut and traded away all our prospects and draft picks for duds like Robin Lehner, Zach Bogosian and Evander Kane. Kevyn Adams is not making that mistake again. So they've committed to a multi-year rebuild. They have a load of top prospects and a crap ton of draft picks the next two drafts, including three first rounders in the 2022 draft. So be mad that they suck. Be mad at the Pegulas. But don't be mad that they are taking the long slow road back to respectability.
  7. I didn't need to know that. I live in So. NH. Fidium is an alias for Consolidated Communications. The only area in WNY they serve is Chautauqua County. Not every area is wired with fiber optic.
  8. The Bills were left out of the NFL's international marketing assignments. You'd assume Canada but we didn't even get that. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-awards-international-marketing-rights-to-18-teams-in-eight-countries
  9. Yes, considering Tim Murray emptied the cupboards when he was GM.
  10. About 15X faster than I had on Xfinity and it won't slow down when everyone in my neighborhood goes online. The only pain is finding all the smart devices in the house to enter the new Wi-Fi passwords. Not to mention switching to streaming TV instead of a cable box.
  11. You act like this is a bad thing. Any other league would be sending the moving vans for the Sabres. Bettman stood up for Buffalo after Rigas went to jail and the buzzards from Hamilton were circling. He's standing pat in Arizona when everyone says get out. And now he's sticking with us again while we fix this franchise. I don't understand Buffalo fans who want to stick it to the owners that are keeping our teams here. You really want the alternative? What was your expectation this season? The playoffs? This team just tore it down to the studs and are only just rebuilding the roster. .389 is already better than last year and we have some real stars ready to move up in Peterka and Quinn, not to mention Tuch, Krebs, Dahin, Cozens and Thompson. The Sabres on on the right track. It's just not an express.
  12. He is a free agent. But I heard he is expected to get 11MM/yr so that's a little rich for us, especially when you have to sign Knox.
  13. We could use another target TE. I wouldn't be against it but someone suggested the Dolphins' Geiseki and I think that's a much better option. Younger.
  14. Rams SB rally draws more flies than fans.
  15. Bills, Chiefs are SB favorites next year.
  16. I'm in a Twitter fight with this Patriot fan and Mac Jones nuthanger He's citing Pro Bowl stats. I swear to God! 😂😂😂
  17. I was under the impression that teams have a set-aside for their season ticket holders? Then again if you win that lottery how tempting is it to flip those tickets?
  18. I think the point is winner gets #1 pick. But how do you ask players to put their bodies out there so you can draft their replacements, unless you put up a cash prize.
  19. The Pro Bowl should just go away. Football is a sport where you risk your body. Even a preseason game has justification; players trying to make a team.
  20. A much better idea. Though it could bring it's own set of problems.
  21. Two Italian suggestions: > Fanara's on Delaware in Kenmore. > Ristorante Lombardo on Hertel in Buffalo. For a little different Mexican, not just tacos and burritos, try Las Puertas on Rhode Island Ave on the west side. Heard great things about that place.
  22. This game is unwatchable.
