Sweet topic, glad the TT talk didn't fall to page 2. Ummmm, we shall see. There really should be 1 thread to post what other media members think is going to happen with TT....

The Bulls beat Akron 80-68 to clinch the regular season MAC championship for the first time in school history! Winning the regular season MAC championship gives the Bulls the #1 seed in the MAC tournament and guarantees an invite to the NIT. UB will open in MAC Tournament play at noon on Thursday, March 8 with a quarterfinal against the 8-9 winner at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. I have watched almost all the games (thank you ESPN3) this year, as well as attending a few, and seriously considering making the trip to Cleveland should they advance to the finals. This is by far the best UB team I have seen and there have been some good teams. They can score in bunches and a number of players can light it up, they definitely do not rely on one or two players to carry the offense. They do get sloppy at times, but if they can win the MAC tourney, the coach of the team they play will have some sleepless nights leading the dance. And only 3 seniors on the roster, so they could go back to back.... GO UB!!!

I was there, and It was a lot of fun. But I think the "Let it snow" game in 2002 against Miami was the best snow game ever at the stadium. Of course it didn't snow as much as this past year, but it still sucked driving home afterwards! Ricky Williams ran for 220+ and scored right in front of our seats. There's a good pic of me swatting him on the shoulder pads, I'll see if I can dig that one up.. Found it, love the interwebs! Have to slow it down or pause it, but you can see him start to duck as there were a few of us waiting to unload on him. I am the one in red. He got out of there quick!

i was going to post this yesterday, but had no idea either. -
Simple question, maybe. Simple answer, no! You can't have your mind on one position going into the draft. They can put players high on their board for a certain position, but if they are not available when picking, you don't reach just to fill that position. So to answer your simple question, they have many option "on their minds", and maybe they'll even think outside the box to fill some of those....

Here me out...Does it matter which QB we draft?
ricojes replied to Very Bad Weather's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"hear me out" = I know this is stupid, but I am going to post anyway because I am either bored or just don't care if people on this board take me seriously. But most likely a combination of the two..... -
The TBD cruise is a great idea! Get to meet some of these trolls in person.

Sabres & NHL 2017-18 - Entry Draft on June 22
ricojes replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
This article got me thinking about trying that route: http://buffalonews.com/2018/02/16/inside-the-sabres-empty-seats-mean-empty-pockets-for-ticket-brokers/ Tickets are available online for as little as $6. On the streets, they're often worth less than that. Plus I can find a 100 level under $60 for this game. -

How did you manage to do that? I am pondering taking the drive downtown and seeing if I can pick up a cheap pair for my son and I. But there is no way I will pay anywhere close to full price for this team... -

Just finished Godless and thought it was excellent. Great show, just got the go ahead for season 5...season 4 will be available in mid-April. -
It's really just as simple as this. If you look from overhead, it's an illegal formation. But the WR signals to the ref that he is on the line, if the ref agrees, he is good. If the ref didn't think he was on the line, the WR simply takes a step forward and all is good. This really is a non issue as it's a judgement call by the ref. The thing that blows my mind is that a WR is given a couple steps lining up, but KB's toe appears to be a milometer of the ground against the **PAtsie's and the call is reversed.

Hypothetical: If Super Bowl was played again this week
ricojes replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have always said that Bills team would have beat the Giants 8 out of 10 times without needing a last second FG. 10 out of 10 if there were 2 weeks between the AFC/NFC Championship game and the SB that year. -
That's the OP's point. Would you have rather sucked and had a shot at a top rated QB or gone to the playoffs. I chose the latter.
-
They do have 6 out of the first 65 picks and a boat load of cap space. But I still wouldn't do it.
-
Foles trade value has never been higher, so if the Eagles get the right offer(most likely a first round pick), he's gone. If they don't, they keep him. It's really just as simple as that. They would be foles to pass up a first round pick for a backup QB....see what I did there...
-
Yes, 8 teams that may need a QB, but definitely not guaranteed to take one. It's an impossible question to answer, there are so many variables that go into the draft. First you have free agency and trades. The combine always changes up these ridiculous early mock drafts. And during the draft, I would assume there will be a trade up from at least one team to get their QB. That would change the outcome of a lot of teams boards. If Cincinnati is picking and the top 3 QB's they like are gone, they aren't going to draft a QB. And that goes for every team. Could the Bills get a quality QB at 21? Possibly, I guess...
