Saying "I think I might have been wrong about Allen" is hardly crowning him. This is just posted because it's surprising that Cowherd admitted he MIIIIIIIIGGGGHHHHTTT be wrong...

I think the feeling by most prognosticators was that Allen would be in way over his head in the NFL, they didn't think his game would translate well to the NFL level. Even though it's very early, it's pretty clear that he can play in this league. He has a lot to work on, but he's miles ahead of where most thought he would be at this point. He's not a "project" as most anticipated, he's competent, comfortable, and competing for a starting job. I believe Cowherd is genuinely surprised by his quick progress... Plus he says, "I think I was wrong", so not exactly completely on board...

Agreed, I couldn't care less about the film cinematography. It's all about content for me, things you don't normally get to see or hear. The Tre ice tub scene is awesome, the kid is so fun on and off the field!

And a couple of those off target throws were miscommunications. As for the short throw velocity, I think it's a great weapon. I am not talking about screen passes, but a 4 yard curl in which he fires the ball is very difficult to defend and is as good as a run. I think we'll see a lot of those this Sunday.

I recorded the last practice game as I was not going to waste 3+ hours watching practice. My DVR has a jump forward function set for 30 seconds. When a play is over and I hit that button it's pretty much the start of the next play, unless it's a hurry up or something. Very quick and easy way to watch most of the practice. This does not work for Peterman, he get's the play in and the players out of the huddle and the ball snapped so quickly, I would have to adjust it to 20 seconds at most. This gives extra time to scan the field and change the play if needed or snap it quickly to catch players out of position. The one thing that frustrated me with Terod is the clock management, even in a hurry up offense they were so close the delay of games on a regular basis.

Who cares who the starter is for the practice game on Sunday...
