Assuming that the NFL doesn't change anything, I have already contracted with a hotel for a traveling fan weekend in NOLA!! Let's hope the schedule cooperates and it's not a heavy weekend in the French Quarter which will drive up the room prices. Stay tuned - the schedule will be released in about 6 weeks

Does anyone know of a defensive line player (2nd string) that was on the team from 1994 to 1998. He was NOT from a college. His story is that he tried out and made the team at training camp. He now is a motivational speaker talking to troubled teens about achieving goals and staying committed to their goals. Sorry I don't have more info. Met this guy at the Midland, TX airport this morning. He saw my Bills stuff going through security and whispered "Go Bills". A nice thing to hear in Cowgirl country. In the rush - I got part of his story, but didn't ask his name - silly.

After that date the rate will go up. We're are looking forward to FILLING this hotel with Bills fans. Recent changes in the public drinking rules have forced people to minimize their tailgates outside the stadium and have to purchase those expensive parking passes. There aren't any cash lots, so our traditional group tailgating won't happen there. But all those styiing in the hotel will be able to tailgate (discreetly) in the parking lot. So sorry to use this format to complain but I can't get anyone to listen to my requests. A number of us around the country are working hard planning hotel rooms, tickets, pre-game parties and tailgates for a few "away" games...namely Houston, Phoenix and San Francisco. Information is supposed to be posted in the tailgate forum. I have asked different people repeatedly to please remove last year's threads and open up new threads to that we can post all the new information. I'm not sure why - but my requests are going unanswered. Can anyone help please, please, please??? Diane
