  1. Leave at the end of the 3rd quarter and listen to the rest of the game on the radio. Then kick yourself later if it's a close game that goes into overtime. Can you set it to record it at home in case the end is worth watching? No way you will get to BUF at 5:30 check-in if you stay until the end of the game. Take it from a seasoned traveler. Then tell your Dad to NEVER do that again....
  2. I feel so sad for his family. But in perspective...there are a lot more 16 year old boys dying in car accidents than from playing football.
  3. London is an amazing city to visit. I wish we didn't always have our "International" game locked into Toronto. I would go to London for a Bills game in a heartbeat. Then I would cross the channel and go through the French wine country (dream on Diane). And how fast does Wemberly stadium sell out as soon as their box office opens for an NFL game. Like an hour? Does anyone realize how many Americans live throughout Europe?
  4. Had a great day...watched the Fins and Pats lose in the early game and the Cowgirls lose in the late game. Doesn't get much better! Oh..and the season opener of Long Island Medium later. Couldn't get into the Texans/49ers game...boring.
  5. It's 3pm to 7pm. $40 for food and drink.
  6. One or two King rooms left at the Best Western St. Christopher. No doubles left in the Bills block.
  7. For 2 or more - the cab would be a better price option. For 1 person, the shuttle is better. The time for the shuttle depends on where people are staying. But they usually don't have more than 3 stops. Last week I was staying the FQ and I was the first stop (30 mins).
  8. The party and tailgate into has been posted in the Tailgate Forum.
  9. Wow! What a weekend it will be for those headed to New Orleans. Here's the latest info on the Friday/Saturday French Quarter parties and Tailgate. NOLA Bills Backers will also host a party in the business district earlier on Saturday. Watch for their post. See you there!!!! Bills Saints Parties.pdf
  10. Lovely!! In NOLA this week. Just confirmed that THE main Halloween Parade through downtown NOLA will be Saturday, Oct 26. What a weekend it will be!!!!!!
  11. Hammer's is more than just a parking lot...It's a tradition. Hammer (Eric) and his crew work their butts off to make sure everything is as smooth as possible. No matter where you are, you can always find one of the crew if you need help. As a female, I truly appreciate the green grass instead of blacktop, the "ladies" porta potties and the hand cleaner.
  12. I was bringing name tags for a few years, but when they stopped the "check in" procedure with Cindy, I got lazy. I will DEFINITELY bring them in the future so as not to burden Mead and Helen with so much to do. I get then for free.
  13. Next home game at the Ralph will have a whole lot of men carrying their see through vinyl purses. Just sayin'
  14. I think Freddie still has a year or two in him. He might be pulling back a little to keep healing.
  15. If you're flying in you'll be renting a car. Just stop at a grocery store, pick up a pack of Sahlen's hot dogs, a bag of chips and some beer. Then get yourself to Hammer's Lot (outside the stadium) on Abbott Road just south of the RV lot before 8am. When you pull into the lot, ask where Pinto Kenny.s tailgate is. Be friendly, talk to a lot of folks and give your food to the guys who are cooking on a broken down old rusted red Pinto. You'll have a blast.
  16. The Stakeout is closest to the LV strip. I've been there a couple of times. But It's been a while, so I'd suggest you call first with questions about multiple games on.
  17. And even better...he married his high school sweetheart. No long line of baby mamas or mistresses.
  18. I can't be apathetic about this....It's a fellow Aussie. This boy was raised in Essendon, which is a suburb of Melbourne. He showed a lot of talent in junior Aussie Rules football, but baseball was his first love. Ironically, my Aussie Rules football team is the Essendon Bombers. Any of you who are parents....think about your child getting killed half way around the world "for fun". I'm sure this must hurt more than losing a son in combat.
  19. Just cried my way through a story on Chris and how he gave up his career with the Bills to support his wife, Stefanie, through her fight with cancer. It was on NFL network. If any of you get a chance to watch it - keep your Kleenex handy.
  20. All I can say is "Wait until you're about 50 and tell me all those energy drinks didn't hurt". If your heart makes it that long....
  21. I've watched every episode. But strangely enough, it's the guys who whine the most.
  22. Since it's only a week away from the New Orleans game...many might choose to forgo Miami this year. Wish they weren't so close together...
