Zona and seattle are .500 teams. Wait and see. As for us, our secondary will finish the season strong, brooks included. My biggest worry is QB, wondering if Tarvaris would ever be a legit option for us if Fitz goes down. One of these days his refusal to slide is gonna hurt us.

Bills Worked out Donte Stallworth Today
Webster Guy replied to cmjoyce113's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stallworth is the most overrated WR ever. He wont make any NFL team. -
From Philly: Demetress Bell
Webster Guy replied to John Gianelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The sad thing for Philly is that if they don't like Bell now that he's healthy, wait til that shoulder and knee start acting up (if it hasn't already) Buddy was sick of the Roscoe, Bell type guys that were in too critical of a position to count on considering their injury histories. I saw one Eagles game last year and Peters was playing very well. No sacks allowed and a strong rushing game to his side. Just like Cordy. My biggest worry about Wood n Levitre is that we blew too much on Mario's deal to keep those two. -
Running backs available?
Webster Guy replied to atlbillsfan1975's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
agreed. there is no way they will bring in another back. To learn Chan's offense for two weeks? yeah right. They have four runners now in Choice, Johnny W, Brad Smith and even McEntyre. We will be fine. -
Always a good guy with autographs and interacting with fans at training camp, and for years it was always he and Lechler from the Raiders considered to be the best punters in the AFC. DeHaven was probably fed up with the inconsistency. Can Potter punt as well as Moorman?

Fitz will have help with the running game, even if it's Choice and Johnny White. Our O-line is crushing people, even with guys like Wilfork against us I think our RB's will move the chains and keep the pressure off our pass defense trying to stop Brady all day which they can't. Choice and White need to have great practice weeks and learn the screens and the blitz pickups for this huge home game. (remember the Choice screen play where he forgot to turn around and the ball hit him in the back). Not cool. If we pull this off the Patriots are get a division loss and we go to 3-1 vs them at 1-3.

And I thought I was an idiot for suggesting Hairston as the H-back on short yardage runs. Nothing McKelvin could do that TJ graham can't. I think the biggest risk with Leodis is ball protection skills. Offensive guys have a lifetime of running with the ball, Mckelvin has far less experience. Turnovers lose games. I did like the Moornan for Fullback campaign though.

Bills/Browns Fan Fight in Section 510
Webster Guy replied to wil1226's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just go for the club seats at the Ralph. Its a whole different atmosphere in my experience. I know they're pricey but your kids will love it. Dad can have a beer or two, the kids will love the food and you won't have to deal with the drunken buffoonery. Security is all over anybody in the red seats in two seconds if they act up. -
I taped this mornings ESPN sports center/blitz and they covered every game except Buffalo/Browns. I went back through it on the DVR to see if I missed it, and they actually had Billls/Browns listed on the left side of the screen on those "upcoming" tabs but they never got around to it. Hilarious. We had the NFL's leading rusher going against the NFL's best rookie RB and they both had a monster game last week. Instead they burned time showing Belichick post game whining in his boring demeanor putting me and my dog to sleep. Then they spent a full 5 minutes on New Orleans, a winless team playing a hapless KC team that we just crushed. Whatever. I guess until we make the playoffs maybe that's what we deserve.

Rankings in week two don't mean that much to me. I think we matchup pretty well with Cleveland, but that DQwell Jackson dude is scary good. He's another Patrick Willis. I didn't know too much about him but watched the half of the browns game last week, we had better have a plan for that guy or CJ is in for a long day. Sheds blockers easily, tons of backfield tackles and fast in coverage. McEntyre and Eric Smith might see a lot of action keeping Dqwell under wraps. This is a game where the play action, wildcat and the deep passing game might all need to be used because just lining up and running the ball on them might not be successful. We also might be playing in the rain on sunday, and slippery fields hurt the speed running backs the most. I predict Fitz will need to air it out in the second half and he gets it together with Donald Jones and Stevie this week but it will be close. Bills win 23-20.

I remember Bill Parcells saying if you blitz a quarterback that is playing well he will complete 90 percent of his passes and if you blitz a quarterback who isnt playing well the defense will win 90 percent of the time.

Mario Williams was a huge factor (photos)
Webster Guy replied to LiterateStylish's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah his style is different. I expected a Bruce, Schobel type edge rusher (hadn't really seen the guy play much in Houston) but it seems like his impact plays are bullrush. The first time it became obvious was the Pittsburgh game when he drove his man straight back into Big Ben. He obviously has other moves, but my guess is he's setting up the bullrush for that pocket collapse. That's when the good stuff happens. -
All-22 Coaches Film -- Analysis of Fitz Week Two
Webster Guy replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nice work Eballer. I like that kind of real analysis but now you understand that you've set the standard for a weekly QB rundown from the coaches film vaults. Insomnia and a love of the Bills can make for some long nights man. I saw someone do that for Cordy Glenn here http://wgr550.com/two-bills-drive/14269504 and I appreciate the time you guys took for the analysis. Also in Fitz's defense, I don't see Stevie Johnson as being very crisp in his routes this season, and wonder if some of those errant throws are receiver related. I guess we'll never know that but I expect those two to get better as the season rolls on. Meanwhile the guy is on pace to throw 40 TD's. If he can be patient and keep the picks to a minimum, become a better game manager, we can get the 10 wins we need to see the post-season. If Sanchez can get his team to the AFC championship game twice, then so can Fitz. -
I don't agree that probability of injury goes up. Some of the interference calls I have seen were based on mild, incidental contact and probably shouldn't have been called. If I were the refs on strike I would be worried because the replacements are getting better each week and watching film on their calls, developing their skills etc. I would guess if the old refs aren't back within a month they will be gone for good.

Chan. I think I'd have a shot if I could pull the Rob Ray/Shirt over the head move.........

Yeah I was noticing that too. Urbik and Pears are the quiet side of the line but they're maulers. They will get more recognition as the year goes on. Pears is 6 foot 8 by the way, and Urbik is 6-5. Both in the 325 range and tough dudes that can move. I would venture to say that the last guy on our offense I would want to fight is Eric Pears.

Bills lead league in NFL touchdowns
Webster Guy replied to GoBills!'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah because at this rate Fitz will end up the season with only 40 touchdown passes, Spiller will have 24 TD's and over 2300 yards rushing. So....this trend needs to change or we are going nowhere? -
I agree. It was lame. 12th man is a bitchy lady sometimes

Have we had enough Brad Smith yet?
Webster Guy replied to Russ 'Em's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah it was more than fairly decent. It was the best footwork/toe tappin/hands outstretchin/firstDownGettin grab I've seen in a long time. If he can make catches like that I would start him as the 3rd wideout over TJ. Stevie is playing very lukewarm anyway, not a great time to be dumping receivers that know the playbook and have good hands. I honestly didn't think he was capable of catches like that. If anything I would dump Johnny White back to practice squad and bring in Easley or Namaan just for depth at the position. It would have been good to have one of those guys playing in garbage time at the home opener. -
Pats Hernandez out up to 6 weeks
Webster Guy replied to bobinaz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Man I can't believe he isnt in surgery after seeing how much he torqued that ankle. -
Spiller first RB since Jim Brown in 1963 to...
Webster Guy replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's a great team player too. Hard work and patience is paying off, Dick Jauron is going to have a long week trying to gameplan against CJ. The wildcat wrinkle was fun to watch. Needs some tuning but I like the spiller option there. Choice ran hard too, he's going to be important in the next month here...... -
Not making excuses for Mario but....
Webster Guy replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't think he got doubled that many times. Less than half is my guess but maybe I was too freaked out by our success that I wasn't thinking clearly. He is playing average ball so far but I would still rather have him at that spot on our team over any other free agent that was available this past offseason. We went out and got the two best DE's on the market in Mario and Anderson. It was the right move for this team. -
CORDY GLENN thread / The Snow Plow!
Webster Guy replied to Bash_Gash's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Strong and agile. Got over his first week jitters (did we have any false starts today?) We need ya kid, keep up the good work. Love the downfield stuff. Our Oline looks sharp right now. -
Thats awesome.

I know there is alot of negativity
Webster Guy replied to Logical Reasoning's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Personally I think the crowd should support it's home team. Booing your own team is exactly what the opposing team wants to hear. "Hey Buffalo your crowd hates you, they're on our side now." It just seems like something a Jets fan would do..... I'm pretty sure Fitz and the offense know that the crowd wants them to score points genius. Do you expect Fitz to say "oh hey, guys, from what I hear the crowd isn't happy with our offense, we need to start trying harder....." I respect anyone's choice to Boo the home team, but for you to say EVERY real fan should do it is ridiculous. I personally think fans should save their voice for when the 12th man is supposed to be as loud as possible--on defense to take away the audible or get some pre snap movement penalties. The team would probably agree with me. Well the Giants lost 8 games in 09, 6 games in 2010 and 7 games last year with a squeaker win against us that would have put them at 8-8. Hardly a dominant regular season team.
