  1. You forgot the cliff Mario fell off in in 2015. It wasn't scheme or that he loved the Wide 9 more, the guy lost his ability to beat RT's singled up. The film doesn't lie, he was awful last year, as he is this year for the Fins.
  2. Get real. Mario is below average, benched by the Fins twice this year. Dareus had always had issues way before Rex was here. You're clueless
  3. Uh ok. Back to football, Cam reminds me of RG3 in the early days when he had that unbelievable season but he played at an unsustainable level of contact. Cam took more hits last year and early this year than Rodgers and Russell Wilson will take in their careers combined. It takes a physical and mental toll, and that style of play can only be done for a short time and then you're done. Roman was riding Tyrod too hard last year for awhile too, calling far too many designed runs and putting the kid's career in danger. Coaches needs some accountability and standards which start with getting rid of the win at all costs approach. It kills mobile qb's.
  4. This isn't a "rex system" or coaching issue any more than Mario's problems were last year. It's technique, it's beating your man and doing your job in one on one matchups. Gilmore and Darby are both good nfl corners, they're just slumping. Seymour and Corey White gettin a shot in practice makes sense. Maybe Robey as a primary and Seymour as nickel?
  5. I wish the league would re align periodically. A cleveland, cinci, pitt, buffalo division would be so cool. Create some new rivalries, put a handful of away games within reasonable driving distances, etc. Guarantee a lot more sellouts for struggling clubs like Cleveland. Imagine Jets Giants Philly Patriots Fins, tampa, Jville, atlanta etc
  6. The season is only dead if you don't like watching your team play every Sunday. We just outplayed Seattle last week in their house, and they came in and beat the Pats in foxboro. That's with no Sammy or Dareus. It's still a fun team to watch, so stop whining about the season being dead and enjoy each game. If they make the playoffs that's cool, but you should learn to focus on the games each week and forget about how far we're going to go or not go at the end of the season. It's about the RIDE man.
  7. Either way, we have yet to see Lynn as OC with Sammy on the field and healthy. From what I have seen so far, Lynn is a far better OC than Roman ever was. Tyrod might start really blossoming now, and getting Sammy back can only help that...
  8. Seymour is the future at cb. The kid had an impressive camp and was on the field as a starter in the heavy db package we had in on the first snap of the game. Darby and Seymour are cb1 and 2 next season, lets develop the kid now. Can't be worse than #24 (aka Mario 2.0)
  9. He was on the longest consecutive game streak (currently) for an nfl center. That's a nasty place to play, right in the middle of the melee every snap. Eric knows how to rehab, he'll be good to go next season. It's time for the backup to elevate.
  10. Go watch the Titans game from last year and get back to us....
  11. Seattle and the Bills had the same amount of wins going into the game. There were a lot of different factors that contributed to the outcome, but we played like winners and the game was really fun to watch, thats all I care about. Impressive preparation and execution by the boys on the primetime stage.
  12. I like 1 and 2, and Ales for sure. (not sure about the apple but....) The thing I'm most looking forward to is the look on Weenie of the Year Petie "I overcoached my team out of a championship by throwing the ball at the 1" Carroll's face when the whole country sees that his offensive line is awful and his team isn't going to score more than 13 points. (we probably aren't either, but at least we'll run the ball on them) over and under on Percy getting at least one reverse and one end around/
  13. 3 first round picks for Sammy? Wait I thought it was 10 picks no? Maybe you should look into that trade and educate yourself. Lorax was NOT a good pickup? Not sure how that supports your point. Hint: it doesn't. Dareus was the pick at 3 at the time. ask Buddy Nix, he was the gm that drafted him (look into that too)
  14. Touchdown Mike has the best yards per carry average since he has been a Bill than any other runner in the game today. He needs to get the rock more. If they fed him at the end of the first half and controlled the clock while getting their kicker closer and forcing NE to use timeouts it likely would have been a 6 point swing in the game. (Lynn and Rex both guilty there....) The thing with TD Mike though, which hit me halfway through the Pats game, he stays upright and takes a pounding. Compare him to Shady, who is low and shifty and almost never gets crushed on tackles--and you can see why Mike is the perfect 10 carry a game guy and Shady gets the other 20
  15. Ok....so, bring in a guy still in his 20's that was our best receiver for a stretch last year catching balls from Tyrod. And people have a problem with this because?..... He's going to WEAKEN our stable of backup receivers? Come on man, Percy is a baller. If he gets hurt then we're not any worse off than we are now.
  16. Freddie is right on the money here. You run first on the Pats because you need to control clock and keep Brady from scoring 41 points. Ironically, our gameplan against Brissett was to run and control time of possession, but we changed that up for some reason against Brady and it made zero sense. The play calling before halftime is a perfect example, I'm glad you brought that up. It was Jauron-like: No sense for clock, situation, time outs remaining for both teams and what plays needed to be called. It's not that complicated. We were all saying "do not pass goddamn you Lynn" on those last few plays. They did, we paid the price. Didn't cost us the game, but was an embarrassing coaching error. It felt like the 12 men on the field penalty: no respectable coach should ever get called for that. Ever.
  17. Gotta start working Seymour in to the starting lineup and keep getting him real game reps against good WR's. We aren't winning the superbowl this year, and we aren't blowing money on Gilmore next year when we can use that money to retain our solid players like Woods, Zach, Lorax etc. Seymour had a great camp, they should start to rotate him in Gilmore's spot more and more. He's the future, Gilmore is the past. I'll bet there is very little drop off in effectiveness over there, and Seymour might even be better. Certainly better for our team in the long run.
  18. His half assed arm tackle attempt on Gronk was the most bush-league unprofessional pansy-ass play I have ever seen. Forget the contract-year stuff, he's not very good anymore. Start getting Seymour first team reps and groom him for starting cb next year.
  19. At least she's an authentic Pats fan of 25 years. Every team has their share of losing seasons. The new Pats fans are the ones that need to be disposed of.
  20. Good blocker, decent route runner, will never be great. Fragile. Im still glad he's on our team.
  21. Tailgating has absolutely nothing to do with behavior like that. All societies have scumbags, just like all societies have decent, kind hearted people. Thats obviously a rarity what the poster experienced, a once in a lifetime occurrence with some pathetic, disturbed losers.
  22. We'll see how good he is after a year when opposing DC's figure him out. Could be the next Kap. Sure looks accurate and poised tho. Obviously Whaley like Cardale much better
  23. Disagree. Every team has holes and areas of weakness, but you cant blame injuries on the GM. Whaley has put together a pretty good roster. Its hard to argue otherwise.
  24. Chancellor is such a beast, probably the best at his job in the world. If you've watched them you see how they miss the guy. Bennett also a force and im glad he's out. Teams are evenly matched. Line will be Seattle by 4. We will beat em anyway.
  25. Talk about being a tough position to play, the NFL qb has to be the hardest. Of all the aspiring qb's in our country from all the great college programs we have, not a single starting qb came out of the 2013 NFL draft.
