Given the Jags have only 2 victories, does it really matter?

Allen in the Panthers game: Jim Kubiak article
ChasBB replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe our defense needs to rough Allen up during pre-game so he plays well in 1st quarter! 🤣 -
And you are taking into consideration, I hope, that teams don't throw Tre's way very often as you view the numbers?

Buffalo #1 NFL City ... for Bad Weather as per The Weather Channel
ChasBB replied to ChasBB's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd like to see the weather played up. Example, MNF will probably show some typical shots of Niagara Falls, downtown, etc. That's all well-and good, but how about sending a film crew out to Holiday Valley, instead ... show downhill skiers, chair lifts, hot chocolate around a fire, etc ... make the Buffalo region out to be a winter wonderland instead of the frozen tundra. Marketing, dammit !! -

Maybe the NFL book-makers got to him - just kidding (I hope) -

According to https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/player-stat/fumbles-lost, Mckenzie has had only one lost fumble this season. I agree, he's mishandled some punts, but cannot call him a "turnover machine" based on one lost fumble all season long. He also brings versatility to the offense, too. Anyhow, I do think the Bills will be just fine without him, too. I suppose a message needs to be sent - just saying I don't think the guy is a bum, either. -

If true, this is an over-reaction by McD. McKenzie has made some big plays - not a ton, but a solid contributor. He stumbled trying to set himself up for a better lane on the kick return and was unfortunate in losing the ball on when tripping himself up and hitting the ground. It's not like he's a turnover machine. It was an unfortunate and untimely fumble, but to bench the guy over it seems over-the-top. That's just my opinion - I suppose McD knows what he's doing. -

Fair enough. I just never saw a formal analysis like this before, but those of us from Buffalo know this. -

Fair assessment. -
I'd like to see our featured running back have a little more size and a little more speed than Singletary. While Singletary has had some very nice long runs in his short career, he generally gets easily chased-down when he reaches open field - he doesn't have a "second gear". Also would like to see more size to handle blitzes and maybe break a few more tackles. That said, I don't dislike him - he's serviceable, but just think Bills can do better at RB.

Fredo WAS the older brother, after all 😁

No, it does not need a name. Go Bills!

Collinsworth was almost impossible to listen to.

Agree - he didn't say another word about Oliver's very questionable roughing call - complete double standard. -
Trubisky performing the final kneel-downs?

My primary concern is that I thought perhaps Allen was injured. Agree with the OP - it just didn't make since. Like others here, was not overly concerned, but it did seem a bit odd. -

There will be lawsuits. This is unconstitutional. Save your dislikes for someone that cares. I'm just telling you how this will go down. Doubt me? Save this post and revisit a month or two from now.- 846 replies

Do you still have the commemorative coin handed out that game?

Week #1: Jags over Texans

Agree. Honorable mention - 1988 home (and season) opener (I was there) ... 13-10 win over Minnesota Vikings (who were in the NFC Championship prior season). Win demonstrated Buffalo was dead serious at making a playoff run!

How much to play Allen and the starters in the preseason?

Would it be going too far to ask that all known starters be placed in bubble wrap until the Steelers game? 🙂 -
Questions for those of us who endured the drought
ChasBB replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For me, it started with that 1st playoff appearance. Sure, Cincy helped us to get in, but the Bills took care of business by winning in week 17 to give themselves that opportunity. Sean McDermott got the best out of a roster with marginal talent and that told me things would only go up from there.
