It will cost the Redskins 35MM to franchise him again next year. They may not have a choice about letting him walk. I could see a tag and trade deal though.
Start with Brady,Roethlisberger, Carr, Alex Smith, Rivers, Manning, Wentz, Cousins, Prescott, Rodgers and I could go on. My point is he's not a top 10 QB so they should keep looking to improve the most important position on the field.
I've never hated Tyrod, he seems like a terrific young man. I still don't think he gives you the best chance to win a championship and the Bills should continue to try to improve the position
He has been disappointing once again this season. One thing we've learned early on from McDermott and Beane is that they don't tolerate mediocrity very long. The Bills are boxed in a little because of his contract but he's not going to be around very long.
There is an established protocol for demonstrating respect for the flag and the anthem. Free-style demonstrations fit the definition of "disrespectful". They have stated that its intended to be disrespectful because the nation doesn't deserve its respect because of its treatment of blacks. Why play silly word games to pretend its something else?
No the announcer actually says "please rise and remove your hats while we honor America...". It's not an interpretation its an intentially disrespectful gesture
Doing what for years? Kneeling?
Kelly is 100% correct. Why do we traditionally stand and take off our hats and remain silent during the anthem. It's to "honor American". As the announcer always reminds us. Kneeling is meant to do the opposite, its disrespectful and disgraceful. If you want to bring attention to a belief wear an armband, say something during interviews instead of telling us how great you are. Instead of dancing in the end zone like a clown quietly go down to your knee then.
The NFL would fine them, the media would SCREAM about how they are bringing politics into sports. ESPN would tell us that this protest is another example of how football players abuse women and oppress them. The owners would all appologize....
I'm not looking for 370yrds 4TD 0 INT but if he wants to be considered as the long-term answer at QB here, or anywhere in the NFL this is one of those games where he has to dig deep and come up big.
its not as bad as tyrod is making them look. in fairness to him its not a good group for his skill sets. he throws a nice deep ball, not so good on timing routes and quick reads. tyrod isn't an awful qb he just isn't the right qb for the design of this offense.
