It's a nice thought and it would be a great story but it would be a bad idea, the NFL is a young man's game. If McCoy is out and Murphy got injured that would leave us with Tolbert and Jackson at RB which wouldn't be ideal.

I'm sure it does but keep in mind that should the Patriots lose to the next two or three games and equally stupid people will be calling for a QB and/or coaching change in Boston (I live there and I heard that floated on WEEI and message boards). Doesn't mean it would happen.

Based on the limited number of times I've seen him play I think that is a good comparison.

Tyrod is a pretty low ceiling/high floor guy. He won't hurt the team but I personally hope they are still ready to move on when a better option comes along.

I'm with you; done with the over-the-top celebrations. All those "socially concerned" athletes who are compelled to demonstrate support and unity at the expense of honoring our nation and its symbols should take a moment from celebrating themselves and make their "statements" after they score. Kneel quietly them instead of acting like a buffoon.
